Tron91 Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 1 hour ago, KenshinRyuu said: Does this fix persist through computer restarts??? If so, where can I find this file to implement it??? This fix only works if Steam has not updated the manifest file with information regarding availability of a game update. If steam has updated the manifest file, it will try to download the updates for the game, even after you set this file to read-only or not.
tasairis Posted September 15, 2022 Author Posted September 15, 2022 Just posted my teardown of the update. They actually did some good with it. 2

VeraDra Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Oh yay, another update! Already have my LO working as I intend it to, no plans to update for a while. Anyways, suggestion for next update: two removals (until the author reuploads them, at least): 1. Flufy Fox Poser for PoserHotkey Plus 2. FlufyFox (Animation pack) Author nuked both from LL due to drama. What that drama is, I don't know. Seems like someone decided to be a dick and got their Discord account banned and in response they nuked their stuff. Strangely, they didn't do the same for Cindy Lennox Racemenu Preset High Poly Head. 1
rb888 Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 I'd Say again I told you young lads. Backup your game menu and your data folder You won't have this issue ;). I went back to my backup and it works ;).

grosaprap Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Not mine, but from the SkyrimMods subreddit - Quote Anyone that wants to downgrade back to AE from a few hours ago (1.6.353): First type this into your web browser: steam://nav/console Then allow it to open steam client bootstrapper. Once the console window appears, type: download_depot 489830 489833 4570833277049890269 Check the console for the location of the newly downloaded skyrimse.exe version 1.6.353. Then simply replace the exe in your game files with this one. Don't know how well this will work but the game is at least launching for me so... Edit: Should probably mention that I assume this only works for Skyrim Special Edition on Steam. 1

Steeleagle94 Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 The downgrade patcher on nexus has a file on the bottom of the old downloads that "Downgrades all files from 1.6.629.0 to 1.6.353.0"

Note the new 2.2 version series. So plugins need to update before they'll work, even if they already use Address Library.
tasairis Posted September 17, 2022 Author Posted September 17, 2022 (edited) Also, apparently there is a(nother) bugfix release for Skyrim in the works. So don't hold your breath. edit: ETA next week. Edited September 17, 2022 by tasairis 1

ButchDiavolo Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 (edited) For what it is worth: CBPC and SSE Display Fixes have been updated to 1.6.629. But if a new "update" is coming, this is kinda moot. Just don't update Skyrim yet!! Edited September 17, 2022 by ButchDiavolo

zarantha Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Got DD's DLL updated. Only took me 6 hours to remember how to do it... ? I did not load the game all the way since I have too many busted DLLs, but the log showed it loaded so I'm calling it good. Still on the troubleshooting post. Side note, If anyone knows how to make a DLL compatible with Address Library, please ping me. I would like to do this for DD, but just don't know enough coding to make it happen. 1
