The Firsts of Loverslab

Everyone in the loverslab community had multiple "firsts" before truly becoming a part and avid user of the website and all of it's content. I'm personally curious as to what first got some people interested in the loverslab community such as a way to learn different origin stories so to speak. There must have been a point in all of our lives when we first came onto this website and then a different point marking our becoming a real member of it's thriving community.

I'll begin with my origin of this site. I remember playing Oblivion on my first crappy little laptop in about 2010, it had been out a while but damn was it fun, and then I started playing Fallout: New Vegas probably in 2014 which I was honestly hesitant to play at first because I had never really been a big fan of shooters and having always played things like Oblivion and Morrowind I never thought I would enjoy it. When I started playing it I was 15 so obviously I had a boner all the fucking time which is how I eventually stumbled across loverslab and ended up downloading some different mods to Oblivion and New Vegas because at the time they honestly helped me get off. And yes I know this is an 18+ site but who the fuck actually follows those warnings in the first place anyway, especially when it comes to horny teenagers. Anyway later that year I ended up with a girlfriend and we lost our virginity to one another so for quite a few years Loverslab and it's mods/community went out the window until I turned 18 in 2017, I was enlisted in the army stationed at Fort Bragg when I was diagnosed with fucking Burkitt's Leukemia which just so happened to be not only one of the rarest but also most dangerous forms of cancer known because of how rapidly and aggressively it grew. Six months of intense chemo go by and I finally begin remission. I started out weighing around 160lbs of military trained muscle and by the end of chemo i probably weighed about 85lbs and I had of course lost my military career due to the cancer so not only did I look like a skeleton but it was nearly impossible to find a job in my condition. That's how I came back to Loverslab. I looked basically un-fucka-able and I couldn't work so I definitely was alone. Loverslab and it's mods became my temporary fix to the lonely hole I felt since I was unable to find a woman to give me any attention. At this time I was playing mainly Skyrim so I had Sexrim and used it to I guess you could say "feel something" even if it was an entirely false feeling it made me feel less hopeless. The community and the forums also helped cause There were people out there like me who enjoyed adult mods cause it turns them on too. So ever since I haven't left the site, cause it is comfortable to me.

For me I was really interested in applying mods to skyrim, rather than playing skyrim(Which I am sure is weird, I have more fun downloading mods than playing skyirm XD). I wanted to talk about my interests with others about the game and mods and such but sadly Nexus wasn't a great place to chat with others(Dunno if it still is) so I tried to find a different modding community and found this place.

My first time at Lovers Lab was when I was searching for mods for Oblivion (Skyrim wasn't even released (or maybe was and I don't remember but let's say it wasn't  )) and when I saw ads on this site with sexual content and adult stuff I was a little disgusted. But after few months I came back on LL...with big perv in me and wanted to download some sex mods for Oblivion. Then, Skyrim was released but my PC couldn't handle it so I played Oblivion with Lovers with PK even more and more. Also in the meantime I completely forgot about LL. When my PC was good enough to run Skyrim I played it a lot. And again...wanted some sex mods for Skyrim, found Lovers Lab again...stayed there to this day  best mods, best support, best people and the best community <3

In 2009 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, by the end of 2012, divorced,  in a wheelchair and living with my parents. I had nothing else to fill my time with, and only 1 video game left.. Oblivion (the ex-wife managed to damage the few others I had when she kicked me out). At that point, I had never beaten the game. I would lose interest due to work or other real life stuff. So, I sat down, installed Oblivion on my parents laptop (my pc wasn't working.... probably due to being dropped by the ex... down half a flight of stairs) and finally played all the way through. Then I was pissed. Who the fuck makes a game where the player doesn't get to kill the main bad guy at the end??!!?!?  My google-fu lead me to mods.... oh... mah... gosh!

The first site I tried was planetelderscrolls. Didn't need an account. Once I saw how neat mods could be, I signed up at nexus. So many more mods! NAKED BODIES!!!!!! Then, Heather Golightly.  Well, ok, not quite what I expected. Google-fu Oblivion adult mods  and here I am now.

I am probably weird too, because I spend more time converting Oldrim mods to SSE, than I do playing the game. Currently I'm trying to convert SBC to SSE, almost there but not quite. Still a little buggy but its what I like to do.

I think I started using LL when I was playing FO3, then New Vegas, then Skyrim, still play FO4, but dumped the sex mods (I like building settlements) Now I'm on SSE, and more into getting mods to work rather than playing the game.

It started around... 2013. So, I was around 15, and had just discovered the treasure trove of modding skyrim and fallout new vegas, and was thoroughly enjoying all that, when I was looking on the nexus and found a comment on one of the mods I was investigating, that mentioned, and I quote, "the site that shall not be named".

Naturally, I was hella curious as to what site they were talking about, so I basically asked around, until I got an answer.

They were talking, of course, about loverslab. I know the site says 18+ and all that, but, come on, I'm a teenager, I need to have me some pornographic materials, right? So I'm basically going around investigating the various mods for all these games, and I start to realize that there are a shit-ton of very strange and misrepresented fetishes shown by members on this site, and I found it really interesting, that people found these sorts of things interesting, let alone found them arousing. Needless to say, you asshats actually got me into my first really strange or taboo fetish. :v

Fast forward about... 3 months, I'm running about 40 inappropriate mods per game, and I'm having a whale of a time.  But then it just so happens that my games all sorta start acting up. So I start asking around, see if anyone knows what's up. Yet again, I'm told to come here and ask, because apparently the issue I was having, while not contextually involving an adult mod, was an issue often caused by mods that you can't find anywhere else but here. So, there goes that. I've gotta ask around and be berrated about the way I mod my game, my ignorance of mod management suites, and my inability to actually comprehend most things that most people actually have no issues with, something that I'm sure is most likely caused by autism or one of the other items on the laundry list of issues I have with my brain.

Once again, fast forward to now. I may not really post much on this site, out of fear of one of my friends discovering it's me, but still avidly checking the site every week to see what's up with you guys, see if any mods are updated, any new mods at all.

I don't really see this site as a website for adult mods, I see it more as a community build around the concept of mods that wouldn't see the light of day on any of the other, more narrow-minded sites. And for that, While it's not somewhere I would admit to liking, I have quite taken a liking to this place, and don't intend on leaving soon.

TL;DR: Came for the cumming, stayed for the community.

I wanted to give an illustrative example, but I can't remember the details....Something about golden shiny soldiers vs purple-dressed people with a bad reputation.

It was a game I played for a while. I was supposed to like the shiny soldiers, but the purple people were so much more fun.

Google pointed me to Nexus, and they're great, and I avoided the purpleness at loverslab for as long as I could.

But a mod I could not download forced me to sign up

"Join us...we don't bite (much)LOL"

kind of thing.

I figured I'd grab the mod and never return,

But you all know how that turned out.

De rigueur pathos: my wife died just before skyrim.

Elder scrolls before were story lines, and TES5 is more of a world. Not a friendly one, or a warm one, but it's lotsa fun, like this place.

Well back in the days of Morrowind, I used to be a member of two adult gaming sites.  That was where I found the Lovers and Legends sex mod for Morrowind.  A couple of years later when playing Oblvion I searched and searched for a sex mod.  Eventually I stumbled upon this site and discovered the Lovers mod for Oblivion.  Like I've said many times before I came for the mods but stayed for the community.  I like this site.  I can speak about adult issues and curse without fear of censorship or banishment.  Though I do stay at my best behavior when I'm on here.  I try to be as helpful as I can be, and in turn the community has helped me greatly.

I've always been here.

Much like Kain82, I was adult modding Morrowind. Then Oblivion. Then so on and so forth. I've never been much for posting though, but I check in regularly.

I think? I first ended up here for lovers PK...or something to do with cherries.

I joined in May 2013 after looking for more advanced adult mods for Skyrim (beyond the simple nude mods from Nexus) and discovering Sanguine Debauchery. I became obsessed by the change in gameplay from that kind of mod.

A few days after, I started tinkering with the CK editor to patch SD to do things I wish it did when I was playing it. Less than a month after that, I had learned enough about Papyrus to retrofit Alicia 'Pain slut' to SexLab... and I was hooked.

DDproduction83, owner of Alicia, allowed me to take over development for her. Eventually, jbezorg allowed me to do the same with Sanguine Debauchery while I started my own projects (Mind Control, Hormones, the Sisterhood of Dibella, Stories .. ).

It took me almost five years of near daily frustrations with the game, the editors, the scripting language and other quirks to finally have the Skyrim I dreamed I had when I started.

Came here a few years ago, was on Nexus and one of the big named modders there ( will not mention names cause that is not polite) , his mod is needed for most of the mods here, but anyways he berated someone in the comments of their mod, basically for that persons lack of knowledge of modding. Well at that point I had never even commented there, I was just downloading mods I wanted to use.

Anyways I thought he went overboard in the comments so I stood up for the person, but i might have gone overboard, a lot of profanity and all, then I log out, next day a message pops up from someone saying If I didn't apologize then I would be banned, and i politely asked, " The only reason your coming at me is because of "who" I said what I said to. so you can go fuck yourself too"!

Well I was booted, logged back on with my second computer, and different IP about 5 minutes later, finished getting the mods I wanted and left, did a search for other modding sites and LL popped up, so I make an account, and start looking at the content and thinking to myself , ("what kinda of people would make mods like this" (as I am downloading them"), didn't plan on staying, then after a couple days I am reading the comments in a mod, and I didn't see people insulting one another, I saw people trying to help each other, thanking others for the work they were doing, and I never looked back, first time I have ever become a "supporter" for a site

I still have a account over there, but have only been back over there once to drop a mod for a friend, cause right now LL makes him nervous for some reason...but he will come around

Like a few others I had modded Morrowind with a few easy to find adult oriented mods. I skipped Oblivion because I still had an inadequate PC. By the time Skyrim came out a had a decent PC, however after running through the main quest twice I felt I needed some mods. It started out innocently enough a few weapon and game play mods, soon however I wanted something different (search Skyrim Adult Mods) and viola here I am. That was about 5 years ago now.
