1.6.640 is AE not SE.

Which SKSE/Address library version you used?

Current Anniversary Edition build 2.2.3 (game version 1.6.640):

I have a new doubt, so that verison 1.6.. is the AE anniversary version, all the other mods must be of the AE type and not SE.  since Vortex forced me to download the RaceMenu SE due to the dependency on the Skeleton Mod since this was from the SE version

Edit.

Investigating a bit, I have found out that it is better to use version 1.5.97 (SE, as I understand) since this is more stable and functional, there are already more Mods.

I Will download the versión 1.5.97

SexLab Framework, check for one function on the scripts file "FNIS.pex". Check if you have that file right on the "Scripts" folder of your FNIS.

Even if you was using "Nemesis" the file "FNIS.pex" is required. Make sure that not other mod overwrite it.

So I uninstalled 7.6 from MO, installed manually in in data for skyrim (made back ups of data folder) and tried to turn it on knowing ALL the files could be seen in Skyrims data folder. Turned it on in MO and started it back up. At this point FNIS could not find animations to load but ... one battle at a time. I JUST wanted to know if Sexlabs would see it... It did not. SO I reinstalled but used FNIS 7.5.1, as far as I know this is as FAR back from the nexus as you can et for FNIS. Installed via MO2 and booted it up. This time it could find animations but Sexlab could NOT see it IN skyrim and it also kept telling me I was in the wrong version ...  but I know I got the right one. And no I dont have Nemesis installed.

At this point do you think it would be a better idea to try and start from a clean install, install everything manually so I -KNOW- files are in the right place, just use MO2 to tick things on or use it for files that have options... as far as I can tell MO2 makes its own "virtual data" folder. Maybe something is off in how it does things and what SexLab looks for? I have no idea.

I get that mod authours would need to agree and it would be hard but its to bad we don't have a, all n one kind of pack to just get you started in Sexlab.

Anyway thank you again so much everyone who has gotten back to me. I see some other people are having a hard time with it recently and I hate being a baby about it and not understanding where I am going wrong XD Thank you for your time!751.png.e0d4cd42f0ff0509f2f6b4b526a73b67.png

Okay hi, going through the installation instructions now.

FNIS install and update (with skeleton arm fix checked) worked.

However, no SexLab menu shows up in MCM on my new game. So, I presume I did something wrong. Not sure what, though. First thing to check, what exactly does "Activate SexLab.esm" step mean? Perhaps that's where I went wrong.

I can do it in Mod Organizer if I really must, been using Nexus so far though.

I also launched the game via SKSE -- I assume that's correct since it's needed, but should I just launch game from Steam directly instead?

the RaceMenu shouldn't be the SE?  since I see that your other Mods say SE.  I'm still having problems, I'll try version 1.5 later...

Yeah, I caught that after I posted and changed it to SE v0-4-16

But still the issue persists -- no SexLab showing up in MCM at all.

There is no upside to downgrading your game. Almost every mod for SE will work just fine with AE. There's no need for most mods to be specifically for AE. All SE mods with .SKSE .dll files have been updated from Game versions 1.6+ including the GOG version of AE. The only reason a non-SKSE mod would need to have an AE version is for  conflicts with the added locations. Don't get focused on AE vs. SE, it's the game number version that matters, not the game name. I'm running the AE GOG version full time with over 2.000 mods with no problems. Steam still calls AE "Special Edition" so that's what it says in the file, GOG is the only version that puts the game in a folder named "Anniversary Edition". So pay attention to what version of the game you use, more than what it's called. Almost ever 1.6+ mod also works with GOG anyway. Bethesda failed bad at explaining the differences in their promotions. They really should have changed the folder name to "Anniversary Edition" as to not have people confused about what version of the game they own. I blame Bethesda 100%, it's on them, not on you, or on the many mod authors that got mixed up because of the way Bethesda marked the AE upgrade. Just one more reason that Todd needs his ass kicked.  ;p

Ignore any mention of SE/AE in relation to compatibility, it's misleading. For SKSE and SKSE plugin mods like RaceMenu, the only thing that counts is the product version of SkyrimSE.exe.

If you are using SkyrimSE.exe 1.6.640 then you should install the version that specifically says it is compatible with version 1.6.640.

If the mod says it's for 1.6.640+ it should also work for the GOG version of AE.

On top of what Sailing Rebel said in their reply, confirm you have the correct Address Library version for your game. According to that Vortex screenshot you have Address Library for SE when you really need AE.

No matter what you do (keep current version, downgrade and avoid updates) you'll have to keep in mind that version and confirm you're getting compatible files if the mod requires so (this only applies to mods with a dll such as RM or SL, for any other file type the exact executable version won't matter).

Thank you very much for the reply.  The truth is that Skyrim is the game with the most mods that exists, but it is a pity how stormy it is when implementing them for the different versions.  Years ago I tried it with the bestiality mod which I never managed to make it work, and the current reason is the same, I want to implement the other bestiality mods and the base of these is Sexlab.  I have version 1.6.640, I will do a clean install and install every mod that is suitable for version 1.6.640.

Okay. Did a completely fresh install of Steam, Anniversary Edition (6.40 one), etc etc etc

Make triple sure all the dependencies I installed were for 6.40 version

Still, the issue persists: there is no Mod Configuration menu titled "SexLab" -- only SkyUI and XPMSE are appearing under Mod Configuration.

Thoughts?

I feel you. The learning curve to Skyrim mods is INTENSE, wow. I'm just getting started and it's been rough...

Anyway, assuming you're using Anniversary Edition xx.640...

This is what I used to get everything working -- hopefully posting here is allowed. I really wish I could've found packages of everything I needed, so here you go. Hopefully it helps.

If you're using Vortex, be sure to Deploy --> go up to "Profiles" --> run FNIS and check Skeleton Arm Fix --> make sure it completes with NO warnings whatsoever --> Exit.
Then launch, also from Profiles, using SKSE (hover over the icon and it'll have a 'play' icon, press that and it should launch Skyrim.)

If you get a message about SkyUI having issues, go down to "Plugins" in Vortex and auto-sort everything using LOOT.

Or just close game, re-Deploy, re-run FNIS, etc, and re-open game. That worked for me.

You have to stand there for a few minutes while everything loads. Then press Esc (go to settings menu) and check if Configure Mods menu is there, and if SexLab is listed inside MCM. If so, you probably did it right.

If not, try opening and closing again/do above steps.

Click Install on SexLabs in MCM (assuming you have no red X marks that you're missing something), exit the settings menu, stand still for a few moments, and it should say SexLabs Blah Blah vSomething Is Ready.

Thank you very much for putting this up. Actually, when I saw your message I managed to install the mod. But it is good that you have placed this in case in the future someone comes to use it. Now, I'm looking for a way to add the penises to the beasts.

Actually I have a question for you now :')

Do the animations just automatically play in context? Do you need to manually start them? I installed everything successfully but haven't gotten anything to play yet, lol

use this:

https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/163-sexlab-matchmaker-updated-09172014/

This mod will add two spells, one to select the person or creatures you want to have sex with. And another that you throw it to yourself.

For more information read the indications of the mod.

Anyway, this is still starting, there are many more mods to add.

Anyone know how I can solve this? I'm playing as a female character, I'm using the SL adventures, I've put every female to be futa, except mine obvioulsy, the problem is that when an animation happen between my character and 2 other female futa, one of the futa get the female role on the animation and my female get a male animation, what can I do to fix that?

First the FUTA actors have to be recognized as FUTA by the SexLab and for that the vanilla Sex have to be different from the SexLab gender. So if they are Vanilla Female them SexLab should show his Gender as Male on the "Animations Settings" page of the SexLab MCM.

The best way to do that is with a tweak for SOS like the one in my download page. The tweak will allow you select and mark the SOS Addons that are for FUTA actors so all the actors with that Addons will be considered as FUTA by the SexLab.

Second you should install my SexLab Utility Plus that is better dealing with FUTA actors and will prioritize the FUTA actors on the Male position when none man is available and the animation is tagged vaginal, penis or straight.

The last version of SexLab Framework for AE is also good with the FUTA actors so my SLU+ isn't required there.

Finally you should also install my SLATE patch and import and apply the OsmelMC-ActionsLog included. That ActionsLog will fix the tags of all the animations i know required for more immersion and compatibility.

So I was having a hard time getting this all to work and even made a few posts, I said something about an all n one pack and wished we could do that. I knew we could not but your map of downloads and post it out really helped! Thank you

hello, I've seem to run into an issue where all SL animations are progressing automatically and instantly for me, despite the 'auto advance stages' setting turned off. If anyone could help or tell me where to look that could be causing issues that'd be awesome. Running SL Framework 1.63 if thats important
