I need some serious help here. I am getting this error message:

1931205993_Sexlaberror.JPG.2c5a21c688bda6c72c618c4a1d2d68da.JPG

I need DD to run the Diaper Lovers' mod.

Assuming this requires the sexlabaroused.esm

I have the SexLabFrameworkSE loaded; in fact, I just cleaned it out and reloaded it again. Is there another Sexlab file download that contains the .esm file in the error message?

This breaks the install process for DD.

Ive gotten that same thing before as well, idk if itll help you but i solved it by removeing and readding the needed mod then resarting vortex and reinstalling the previous mod. I have also had it be fixed by downloading a new version of the zip file and trying to install that one instead.

That's what the error says. Installing sexlab does not install sexlab aroused, it's a separate mod.

Since you seem unaware of even the basic requirements, make sure you look at the conversion tracking thread for other mods you need and the SE/AE versions.

Make sure you read the requirements for any mods you are installing. If you don't, then they'll either fail to install like DD or crash your game when you try to run it.

If you are on AE, then you also need to grab the updated DLL for DD, or to uninstall DD 5.1 and install the DD 5.2 beta. Both the updated DLL and the beta are in the DD troubleshooting post under the beta spoiler.

Thank you, and this is what I was trying to figure out. If the .esm was actually in the mod file or not, and if it was, why wasn't it active.

Mind you, I'm very new to this. I only got a copy of SE in the past week, and while I know the type of mods I want to run, I'm trying to steer straight, but keep hitting walls along the way, because multi-modding requires a lot to absorb and observe to do right. But I am learning with each session that I play this thing or mod it.

Part of my issue is that I feel Loverslab is actually a bit hard to navigate to find all the mods I need; not as easy as other sites, such as Nexus.

Either I'm missing something, or there's a version problem.

I've checked and corrected all listed file conflicts.

I have checked on and downloaded all requirements.

I am still getting the .esm file error from above, when trying to load DD.

That's the only error I'm getting in Vortex right now. I must be one simple misstep away from a full and successful install, but I've made progress here tonight.

Sometimes vortex won't enable an esm/esp after deployment. you should be able to got to the plugins page and enable it manually. if that doesn't work, restart vortex as you did and try again.

Well...I finally got DD to load up with no issues. No bad files in Vortex now. Thanks for all suggestions here.

However...SE won't start now without crashing right off. I get this error pop-up with the SKSE64.

The thing is, these files don't exist on my PC. I searched for them. Something in the startup is looking for them...now I have to find out what that is. ?

Windows file search is not reliable.

In the Vortex mods list, use the Extender option in the Content filter to show only mods adding DLLs. If this filter is no visible, use the cogwheel at the top right to enable it. Go through each of these mods and ensure that they are compatible with your version of Skyrim. If a mod is not compatible, it must be uninstalled completely.

If there is still an issue: purge all mods in Vortex (tool above the mod list). Go to the vanilla Data folder and delete the SKSE plugins folder. In Vortex, redeploy your mods. If any SKSE plugin mods were installed manually, they will have to be reinstalled through Vortex. Do not install mods manually to the Data folder, that's what mod managers are for.

Hello everyone. So i have the latest version of Skyrim and I installed the latest version of the SL Framework.

Every time I load my save, I get a message saying "Outdated or no skyrim install detected" and something that it needs skyrim v1.6 or newer in order to function.

What have I done wrong? :(

Also, for some reason I get teleported to the giant camp in whiterun every time i initiate a sex scene... Whole thing is a mess :(

You have apparently installed the wrong version of SexLab Framework for the game version you have installed. If you are using SSE-AE as you might have implied, you need SL 1.64c from Page 1 of this thread. However, if you are using SSE 1.5.97 as you also might have implied ("latest version of Skyrim" is actually 1.7.3; the "latest version of Skyrim Special Edition" (non-AE) is 1.5.97.)

So the first thing for you to do is find out which version of Skyrim you are playing by right-clicking the executable, then clicking Properties, then Details and reading the actual version number. Then match SexLab and related mods to that specific version- "latest" is not a version in the current Skyrim environment.

Hi, I'm using Skyrim SE, and I got SexLabFrameworkSE_V and MatchMaker downloaded on MO2 with the proper requirements, I updated and ran Nemesis Behavior engine and it went fine, but when I go in-game and select "use nearby bed" my character and the npc stand still and nothing happens, how do I fix that?

Have you guys considered looking into how OStim handles animation registration and starting scenes? Animation registration in OStim is instantaneous while Sexlab Animation Loader is kind of slow, and OStim scenes overall start much quicker than SL scenes.

Using SSE 1.5.97, SKSE64 2.0.17 and SexLab 1.63 with SLU+ and SLEN. All scenes run fine except... I do not see visible cum in any scenes. I have both cum-related options ticked (enabled) in the SexLab MCM plus I have SLACs set for 4 layers (the max) but still nothing. I have tried removing SLACS but the result is the same- no cum.

Is there some hidden toggle in SLU+? Is there a 3rd toggle hidden somewhere in SL 1.63 that was not present in previous versions? How is it possible for this to happen with both options enabled in SexLab (ending orgasm effects and show cum effects)?

I had a similar issue in the past and it was caused by Glow Be Gone. You can add Sexlab and any other mods where your effects aren't showing to Glow Be Gone's json's exclusions if you happen to be using that mod.

OStim don't have to care about synchronicity because is handled by the Skyrim animation system. The problem with that is the limit on the number of actor for the scene.

Does the SE version of SKSE also work? It's the 2.0.20 version and not the 2.1.5 version, but it's the only one for the SE build.

Of course it works. It's not like this is something optional. Your SKSE version must be compatible with your game version. So if you mention SKSE 2.0.20 your game executable should be 1.5.97, right? If that's the case 2.0.20 works, and you should be using SL 163 without issues (as long as you meet all other requirements and install steps).

What about the animation registration, could that be touched on/improved in any way?

In almost every case, you might want to consider at least trying some self-help before asking others for assistance-

  • If you are using Vortex, you can right-click any installed mod and select "view in file manager" to see the exact files and paths in the mod
  • If you are using MO2 I'm sure there is a way to view mod file contents although I do not know what that might be
  • If you are not using any actual mod manager you can right-click the downloaded archive (7z, zip, rar) file, select 7z and then Open to view the mod contents

TL; DR: Just look for yourself to see what files are in a mod and where they should go- no need to post a plea for help and then wait hours or days for responses, plus you will learn something in the process. :classic_biggrin:

You right click on the mod and select "Open in Explorer"
