Janet Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 So where is the actual Xeosp++ esp? I followed the links but I can't find any downloads. Hell where's Xeo5 even? The TES nexus link is dead.
canthics Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 They're at the bottom of the post. English version is there also.
Janet Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 What I more meant was... How the hell do I download from u.115? I can't find a damn button...
Guest Donkey Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I am not sure, but i found xeo5 in 5 seconds on tesnexus. it is not there. only a redirect to gamefront. Try this one. XE5OBSE XEOSPV1.0 is here: XEOSPV1.0
thesin Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 What I more meant was... How the hell do I download from u.115? I can't find a damn button... Do not translate the page. God knows why' date=' but translating the page removes the download-links. This is how it should look like... [img']http://i55.tinypic.com/2rh8db6.jpg[/img]
Janet Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Asking real quick. Because it looked adorable. What version do I need for the Ice elf linked in the first post?
canthics Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 The ice elf is a separate download. Works with XeoRC4. Also, I'm finding XeoSP++ not quite as good as XeoSP, even if it is a much cleaner install (BSA FTW). It looks like they intentionally "re-uglified" a lot of NPCs, notably the beggars. That makes sense, of course, but they also did it to a lot of the NPCs including women who were just fine the way they were in XeoSP.
Bloodfang91 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 hi guys~ how do i install MBP++? I just got two strange files from TESnexus... can someone give me the files as .rar or describe what i have to do with them pls?
Slammer64 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Bloddfang91, You need to install the requirements, namely OBMM, OBSE, BOSS, Pluggy and maybe a few others, MBP++ comes in the *.omod format which OBMM will then install, check the requirements for installing xLovers for details. Search is your friend.
Bloodfang91 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 so have everything but still...where do i put mbp++? the version i downloaded from TESnexus isn´t omod ready at all...just two files called MBP_Plus_Plus_091_Full-37368-0-9-1.7z.002 and MBP_Plus_Plus_091_Full-37368-0-9-1.7z.001
Bloodfang91 Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 sorry for the double post but i realy need help with this one....it is confusing me
pink Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 That's a 7zip archive. In two volumes. Open either of them in 7z and extract, if both files are in the same directory it'll just work.
Verice Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I'm not using 7z either, but you can open 7z files with Winrar. Just rightclick the .001 file > Open as> Winrar. It should now open both packages.
Bloodfang91 Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 i hope it will work....if yes Thanks to all of you!! if not.....god hates me xD EDIT: It didn´t work...it just said that the files are unknown or either damged can someone upload it as rar for me pls?
canthics Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 I think narulivion, the home of MBP++, has a much friendlier archive version.
exradical Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 I'm new in this game especially in modding I installed the MBP, MBP++0.91, x117, xeosp in that order. Then loaded with obse. When i choose new game option, i got kicked out to windows. Plz help
canthics Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Think a sticky or two to some mainstream mod guides is in order.
thesin Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I'm new in this game especially in modding I installed the MBP' date=' MBP++0.91, x117, xeosp in that order. Then loaded with obse. When i choose new game option, i got kicked out to windows. Plz help [/quote'] Do you have SI and the unofficial patches installed? If yes... have you set your load order correctly? You can use BOSS if you're unsure about the correct load order.
Reigor Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Hi folks, hoping one of you can make sense of this...translated from a XEOSP++ post the author made. The original page: http://forum.gamer.com.tw/C.php?page=1&bsn=02526&snA=6399 Installation steps: 1. Make sure you have installed xeosp 2. Removed Bethesda Softworks \ Oblivion \ Data \ Texturesxeot \ XEOT folder, with xeoex.esp 3. Install xeosp + +. Bsa with xeosp + +. Esp 4. Installing Robert Male Body Replacer male body and F-INevOblivion skinset Collection 1.0.omod female body images (all the election coverage in the past) 5. Invalidation by obmm or Wrye_Bash 6.My Games \ Oblivion \ Oblivion.IN \ bFaceGenTexturing = 0 I understand all of this except for step 2. Is it saying that the contents of Data \ Texturesxeot \ XEOT folder should be removed and deactivate the xeosp.esp? Followed by installing xeosp++.esp and its bsa?
Nightwynd Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I understand all of this except for step 2. Is it saying that the contents of Data \ Texturesxeot \ XEOT folder should be removed and deactivate the xeosp.esp? Followed by installing xeosp++.esp and its bsa? It makes sense the way oblivion handles files is this. When looking for a mesh or texture, the game engine always looks in the data folder first for uncompressed files. If it doesn't find any it searches for BSAs. Most of the vanilla stuff is in 2 big BSA files, that is why stuff such as armor replacers have the same path as the vanilla ones do. So if you don't delete the f Data \ Texturesxeot \ XEOT folder, the game will continue using the older XEO textures instead of the new ones from the BSA.
Reigor Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 *nods* Thank you Nightwynd. Alright then, through the power of BAIN I shall separate out the xeosp.esp and the xeot folder and make them an optional install! Will see if the game explodes in my face.
