actually I've had problems with this mod before.  I absolutely love it, but if you choose one of the new races when starting the game out, that darkelf in the other cell never talks to you as his dialogue is based on your race. and he isn't programmed for the new races.  as such, he doesn't start the events that lead to the king coming and so on.  means I have to change to a new race when leaving the starting area.

if you have the all unofficial patches installed that would remedy this for you, or do it like i do just use a mod that adds custom start. This is the one i use. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11495

That's an old old bug that should be fixed by custom race fix: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1815

Which is an old plugin that should be unneeded now, as its included in the essential unofficial oblivion patch: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5296

There is now a combined package of MBP 1.4a, MBP++ 0.9.0 and x117 0.76a in one ~750MiB omod available. Simplifies the installation somewhat; I found the link on

Doesn't include any of the XEO varieties, and I'm still not sure which one should get and which order to install any of them in, but that's a later issue. This pack seems to work well for me however (make sure to follow the load order on the linked-to page).

did you mean KT_CustomRaceFix.esp... LOL, I was readin that, and I still have it activated,

 

( I think I installed it like in 2006 when the game came out I wanted to try the mystic Elfs, which i hated, but I kept the CustomRaceFix installed)

 

i never got the essential unofficial oblivion patch, I did look at it, but decided I really had no need for it at the time... Have you been running it Ashal ???

 

Does it seem to be a good thing ?

Hey Pink, where could I get this combined Package..I tried that sight, but could not seem to get the page to translate... hard to tell what to click on... :(

Could someone post a detailed instruction on how to install all the MBP and XEO correctly so it won't show any errors and problems? I came to a conclusion that maybe I've screwed something while installing it.

 

if you get the MBP OMOD version and have OBMM installed, you should be able to just click on, or double click on the OMOD file and follow the prompts..

I can help, http://u.115.com/file/f54374ced is where you get the file. The downloads disappear for me if I translate the page... the bottom box shows the url and some icons... Look at the next box up...the 3 different blue Chinese writings next to the green down arrow are the download servers... click one and it should start.

Hi there,

 

I'm a little confused about XEOSP1.0

Is it the same as XEOrc4 or rc5? I installed XEOSP1.0

and I'm not seeing any "npc's made beautiful". They just seem to

use a different more cartoony texture.

I do see the beautification in the race menu when I make a new

character.

I then get different versions of all races, but none of the "beautiful" versions are used by ingame NPC's.

 

Edit: Sorry my mistake, my loadorder got screwed up without me knowing, reordered my load order

        and is working fine now.
