uh,,,,,soooo why am i at 103% ? Also i just saw the new update will that break my progress ? I assume thats the case, but in any case im pretty sure my playthrough was broken since from i recall from my first playthrough it goes this way

  Reveal hidden contents

1- You get milk somehow then talk to paul to start the first quest

2- that lead you to the acolyte which lead you to get the book and then mandy diary

3 - that lead you to the tought of needing to be own to be protected from thief

4- this is when i remember having to speak about that to paul and then he said that there was someone who could forge a certificate of belonging and that was mark

5- mark was a thief and we get kidnap

6- paul save us and well we get owned by paul which then lead you do many quest as we transform more and more

but this playthrough i got through 1-3 then coudnt get to him talking about mark so i ended up drinking a loooooooooooooooooot of potion of mutation to get to 26 and going to riften to use their milking pump since again no one had the option to milk myself no clue why.

Before you can talk to him about protection, you need the first encounter with the hunters.

Btw. Theoretically, installing the update should not break progress.

Actually how do you install it. I just add it to modmanager and now the menu of being a cow i just blank. Do i have to catheral the new update or not since i am on SE ? if so i have done that and im planing on reinstalling being a cow se just to see if that fix it

Again: I post mod versions for Skyrim *LE* and NOT SE. If you want to use that on SE, you'll probably need to process it with CAO first.

This should be standalone. Only the first pack was in need of the original mod.

Okay, I know muchwow does this. How exactly, step by step if possible, do I install this mod to SSE 1.5.97? Do I have to extract it to run it through CAO?

Using MO2:

1. Download the file.

2. Install in MO2.

3. Select the mod directory (the mod file in the MO2 mods folder, not the archive you downloaded) in CAO and click Run.

3.5.  You can watch the progress in the Log tab of CAO to keep an eye out for errors. There shouldn't be any, but it's a habit I always maintain just in case.

4. Enable in MO2 left pane, ensure that the plugin is also loaded in the MO2 right pane.

5. Run SSEEdit VeryQuickShowConflicts to check for possible plugin conflicts. Follow the xEdit Conflict Resolution guide if you find conflicts.

6. ????

7. Profit.

Correct. The SE versions (which are quite old now btw) are simply the last skyrimfet version run through CAO. The latest versions by @botticelli include some new content and fixes. Oh yeah, also remember to run the hooves through bodyslide again, there was an update to the .nif files in the latest version.

I think i did that so that should be fine. Was the menu MCM remove tough ? I can find the item in game via my additem mod so i know the mod is indeed install, but the MCM menu is gone.

Either use Jaxon's MCM Kicker or setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1. If neither of those work, then you most likely have some sort of issue with your save file.

Ill try the first two cant be the save file since it was a new game as i tend to do that anyway when adding a mod.

The selected options are just the default options, I didn't configure anything, just downloaded the program and started using it.

That's literally all you have to do. If BAC isn't working for you, it's not because of CAO, it's because you didn't install it correctly or are missing a dependency. Or because there is some sort of conflict. I can't really help with Vortex-related stuff because I use MO2.

Not sure what is going on... hunters don't seem to be spawning. When straight for the nose ring after finishing up with Jenssen, but... I went from level 20 to 31, spent about 12 hours in-game, did tons of quests etc... never saw the hunters. Is there a trigger or something that I might have missed? I've never had this issue before. Here are my quest states:

EDIT: Something to try in case you have a similar problem. It turns out the hunters were... I don't know, stuck? I mean, they were fine, but they had stopped chasing me at some point apparently, and were just standing there. I did sqv bac_blacksmith, then prid for one of the hunters and did player.moveto to locate them.

hmm new life being brought into this mod, with new feature, @botticelliare you planning on adding any more quest content?

On SE using the last version Guru released, might consider switching over to your version because of the extra content.

My primary concern right now is getting the mod base stable even with LOADS of cows. I got it up until about 50 cows using the burning of King Olaf as a super-spreading event, but then it crashed during the update process. When I reach the point where I consider this stable, I start looking at the quests. So the next item will be to get the bugs outta there. And then I might create new ones. I'm still waiting for a reply from skyrimfet on this,

Oh, I get that in LE version, too and did what you did, but after a time I started moving the hunters to me (xx01de6a, xx01de6b, and xx01de6c) which didn't quite work, because the hunters didn't respond. Then I moved them to some point (e. g. a tree) a little away, and that worked fine. As I said in the post above, I'll have a look at the quests sometime in the future, when the base is stable.

...and still a new version. This one...

  • fixes a bug in the update process I introduced with 1.9C: If you untick any items on the Settings page, they would not get removed.
  • introduces multi-threaded update (from which you'll profit, if you have more than one cow in the game), I got it finally up and running. It will update up to 15 cows in parallel. 15 threads should be enough, since max. No. of cows is 120 (20 MilkMaids + 100 MilkSlaves) which would result in each thread doing update for 8 cows. The player cow normally is first, so you should be able to continue playing after a few seconds and not wait for the whole damn thing to complete.

no guarantee. It should be able to upgrade, but I'm not sure, if I got that right.
