What do we do with these? step by step please ? Â Responding because I have time between classes xD Just drop these into your BAC folder (assuming you're using MO2, if not then drop them in wherever you have BAC installed) and allow to overwrite (in MO2 this means to merge). Then all you need to do is re-build the BAC assets in Bodyslide as a batch with morphs checked. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy

Hmm, something is definitely not right with that texture. Are you on SSE or LE? If on SSE make sure you run the BAC mod folder through CAO to convert and optimize the textures. If that doesn't work, the only other thing I could suggest is re-installing BAC. It's also theoretically possible you're running out of VRAM or something, but the horn texture is pretty small, so I doubt that is the issue here. 1

I had this issue with MME when I tried to add some options, I succeeded with two and adding the third gave me a blank menu. If this persists through the next update, I'll split it up into 2 mcm quests. Hmm, interesting. to be clear, I did originally start this save on C1, I only tried using C2 after cleaning the save and uninstalling C2. I am going to go ahead and try a new game again, maybe the way a script fired when first starting up screwed with something... or maybe I touched my mouse too soon or something. Starting a new game can be a finicky process, after all. And C1 seemed to work fine before on my old save. Â EDIT: Started a new game again, once again no mcm menu for BAC. The only thing different here from my previous game was that I installed BAC during an existing game, I didn't have it installed from the very beginning. Edited March 3, 2022 by MysticDaedra
fyredraken Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Okay large problem. So I went into my LE install and cleaned up being a cow. Uninstalled all the old stuff and installed 1.9C1 had no MCM just blank. Have tried all the ones from Botitcelli and i get nothing but a blank MCM entry. If i "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1" it removes the bac entry from the menu completely. I thought I saw a while back the alternate has become stand alone, do we still need Skyrimfet's og mod installed? What variant of it do we need if we do? I know on the SE install I have just 1.9C1 installed and things work except the face morphs. 1

FTR I have C1 + all the previous versions (original Skyrimfet + SSE + Guru + C1), same problem. Something in the @botticelli versions are not working on new games. I'm going to try setting up a new game without BAC installed, and then install BAC after I get out of the Abandoned Prison. Fingers crossed.
LinksSword Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 why am i the only one on SSE to get it working on a new save?

Fingers crossed.  This is a new game on LE. I cleaned everything, verified files and reinstalled the basics. Still same issue. LinksSword it works on a new game everytime for me on SSE, only problem I have is the face morphs aren't happening except for the nostrils changing. The mouth isn't changing at all and the tongue is just sticking way way out (see picture above). I can use my item add/search mod and it shows BAC items so I know the mod is being read just no MCM or trigger when milked with lactaid. On SSE I just have the 1.9C1 that I converted with CAO. Alturistix Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Hey, is hammerheart not supposed to start in the new versions on a new save? Irrc it would start on init on 1.8. Im using SSE btw. Â Â

the 1.9 version seems a bit buggy at the moment with starting the actual quest, does the mcm menu for being a cow work for at all or is that also not working, because if it isn't working your having the same issue as everyone else thats trying to make the SSE version work.

I once loaded it up in my old save, where the menu seemed to be working, but no matter how many times i tried to start BAC, it would not start. I thought that it might be a problem with it not registering my PC on an old save, but the MCM isnt popping up in a new save.

botticelli Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 (edited) Ok, I nailed the problem, I think. Strangely this wouldn't happen when starting from a clean save which I normally do. Using "New" eluded me. The update process of this mod is also called initially when starting a new game. Before I introduced the threaded character update, that would wait until after this initial update completes. With the threads however, it takes right off first during update to internal version 2.7 and then again to 4.7, and again at the end. Each call stops the initial update, so I removed one after the other and now it works again. This version includes the pump activators from @GuruSR, so the quest pumps should correctly restrain the character. Please allow for some extended blackout time for this to happen. I reworked some more dialogue but probably haven't gotten all the culprits where skyrimfet used accent characters instad of apostrophes. I also moved some of the dialogue script activators from end of dialogue to beginning in order to have the dialogue end correctly. Please report any dialogue that should end but doesn't. I don't know if this would help or not but I noticed that when I installed the original being a cow again in the top left side two messages would appear  1) being a cow - update actor - START 2) being a cow - update actor - END but with 1.9c3 only the first message appears 1) being a cow - update actor - START  could this be what's causing the problem for me?

botticelli Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 (edited) 16 minutes ago, Deathtone said: the mods were installed but not started is what I'm trying to say BAC Main Quest initializes the mod at new game startup. Any (de-)activation later only re-runs the update, So, if you updated from a non-threaded version to the threaded one, that one needs to set up the Thread quests in order to be able to update the character again. When updateActor() is called before that point, it will hang indefinitely. I'll correct this and put an initialization check in there, so it should return immediately and do nothing.
