Cheers for that, if it's only this spider not a problem really, I thought it was an issue across the board, come to think of it the two in Helgen were fine.

as far as i can tell the spiders are hitting something on there way down and that's causing them to prematurely cancel there descent animation, the one in Cronvangr Cave is even getting stuck in the roof.

Well.... I wasn't actually planning to release it originally because I have no desire to do the other creatures as well. But apparently Mihail is fine with mods using his work as long as he gets credited so... I might upload it.

BUT REMEMBER THAT I WILL NOT DO THE OTHER CREATURES, SO DON'T ASK.

Thanks for that hard work taken to add Mihail's creatures

 

I'm probably being a bit thick here, but have now added 11D, read all the blurb (twice), installed Mihail's Giant Wasp, spawned one in a small player home, 'surrendered' via Cursed Loot's Combat Rape option, but just get beaten unconscious and dumped off in the wilderness.  As this has the Chaurus Hunter skeleton, I think I may have succumbed to 'fond hope' syndrome in that the wasp might just use use the relevant SLAL chaurus animations registered in SexLab.  Might of course just be a fluke in the DCL settings but I tried a few times

 

None of my MCMs, CF, etc show any Mihail creatures.  I may just have have missed a re-registration somewhere - maybe SxLab, or CF, but I didn't think that should do anything(?) - or might I have missed some other trick somewhere?  You mentioned in the change log something about it being difficult to get Skyrim to 'reload the script'.

 

TIA for any help/suggestions that you can offer

that's a save file problem, your save most likely has a older copy of the script (MoreNastyCrittersFactory) stuck in it, you will need to fight with a save file editor to fix that...or load a older save from before MNC was ever installed...or start a new game.

 

i have not made any nude skins for them so there's nothing for CF to load into the MCM.

OK, a sting in the tail, maybe, but it's not the end of the world.  I ran it as a test on the current game anyway, so no real damage will be done carrying that on without this.  I'll sort it out next game

 

And thanks for the prompt reply.  Support here always seems to be, commendably, very quick! :smile:

Thanks for registering / working with mihails creature mods. I was hoping someone would integrate them, atleast if he would release a package. Also, by saying you registered them, do they have the bits right now, or do we still need the meshes and textures and yada yada yada?

Not sure if anyone else having this issue. But I tryed this . Installed everything. Correct load order . Did everything in menu .

All I get is afew new creatures not doing anything at all .

Animations alot times all backwards n don't line up .

On older creature mod no issues ever .

Any ideas ??

backwards? the only time i have ever seen anything do that was when i had one of the FPV mods installed.

did you follow the upgrade procedure guide? all sorts of random stuff can happen if you don't.

there are 5 problems with that:

1. JContainers is not yet available for SE.

2. Creature Framework is not available for SE, and that's not possible without JContainers.

3. Sexlab Aroused is not yet available for SE, at least as far as i know anyways (Creature Framework tends to fuck up if you don't have it's scripts loaded).

4. SLAL is not available for SE, and that's not possible without JContainers.

5. SE is not compatible with my computer, i can't work on something that i can't even run.

Yes followed instructions.

Lord I don't know what I've done wrong but since installing v11, my Skyrim crashes on loading :frown:

 

I de-installed v10.4 before installing 11 and looked for any files listed in the instructions - none there. I do get the list of missing .esp files on loading the last save but then CTD. (edit: even crashes on a new game.... wanders off to starting poking at things....)

 

What did I do wrong.....

 

edit no.2: It looks like it's an issue with Thief (0.8.2). Someone else has reported a CTD after loading that mod, and mine stops when I de-install it.

 

Presently running 10.4 and will now upgrade to 11, then re-install Thief and see what happens.

 

edit no.3: Definitely appears to be Thief 0.8.2 clashing with v11 of MNC (10.4 works). I upgraded to v11 by deleting v10.4 within NMM and installing v11, that loaded fine, added Thief and CTD on loading the same save.

 

Going to roll back to 10.4 so I can carry on with the Thief quest ('cos it's kinda fun!).

 

(Oh, and I've posted this in the Thief thread as well)

I have a similar problem with the fact that animation will appear and after 10 seconds, the entire skyrim crashes And I have it with all versions from 10 and on version 9.3, everything works from the original module

FPV = First Person View mods, some of them can cause the player's animation to do a 180.

floating can be caused by high heel mods and/or incorrect actor scales.

 

but if you have none of them i really don't know what's going on there, the only advice i can give is:

1. check your FNIS settings, and then rerun FNIS.

2. rebuild the animation registry in game:

Fpv I never used . I havent got anything else could conflict either .

I use Mod Organizer now because I am old and lazy. I have limited time to invest in learning everything I want to know about modding Skyrim. As a result I have trouble determining correct load order versus correct install order. Some mods/creators blow right past the subject of load order making one guess in what position a mod should be loaded or installed. I have always attempted to make a list of desired mods for a play through, order them and install in that order. I did not have much success and limited my games to 10 mods or less. Mod Organizer has allowed me to use more mods, faster with fewer user errors in my case. Although I still have issues figuring things out sometimes. Most problems arise from improper load order. Thank you for the information you have provided to help those of us Modding Skyrim through managers. I am struggling right now to make a game that works with this new stuff here. Thank you again.

If you aren't sure on what your load order should be, I would suggest you try using LOOT
