More Nasty Critters Legendary Edition

Hello, wanted to ask for help. Im using some of the Mihail's creatures and replacing models by myself(renaming nif file and replacing it in More Nasty Critters meshes folder) some of them worked off the bat, some were using custom skeleton which would turn creature invisible during animation so I had to replace it back with vanilla skeleton to fix it. Although it didn't always work, so for some creatures I had to to it different. For example in https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/89190 there's a riekling based creature and in it's meshes file there's only model file without skeleton, which means it's using vanilla skeleton, but this creature was still invisible during animation. So instead of replacing the whole nif file, I opened nif file of riekling chief, deleted his body model, and then started to copy-paste parts of the body of that mihail creature. Everything pasted properly, I got the full body transfered, but in game his hands and feets are missing, does anyone know why?

try converting all of the BSDismemberSkinInstance into NiSkinInstance.

did you rename the MoreNastyCritters.esp? the json files won't work if you did.

 

and there is the fact that creature framework fails to work if SL Aroused's bsa/script files are not installed.

 

Hmm.. From the bottom to the top:

 

Aroused was the first one I had to convert for some other mods and with SL 1.63 it took up the work. 

Of cause I didn't rename the esp. Why should I have done that?

For the rest: MCM is working, Anims show up in SLAL, are registered in SL and the most important thing for me: the races could be registered in Scent of sex, so i could trigger their anims. But having sex with the Dwarven Sphere or the ballista have been must be painful for my toons... 

 

I'm just trying to track it down.

 

If it is a problem with Jcontainers64, the guys who did the port need to know that.

If it is a problem with Sexlab the Info needs to go to Ashal. 

If it is a problem with creatureframework we need someone who takes care about that.

When it comes to MNC you are the one to ask, what could be done about it.

 

 So what is the easiest way to find this out?

well it looks like JContainers64 is working, SLAL would not be working if it wasn't.

SexLab Framework is a unknown, i don't know whats been changed in v1.63 vs v1.62.

Creature Framework is a unkn....wait... have you tried lowering the "Arousal threshold" setting in the Creature Framework MCM?

MNC in fact is only a addon for the other frameworks, so it's completely useless if any of them are not working right.

 

try changing the werewolf's skin setting in Creature Framework and spawning a new werewolf, it should spawn with a different non aroused dick, if it still has the same dick or no dick at all then there is definitely something wrong with Creature Framework or the MoreNastyCritters.esp (ether that or you have moonlight tails installed and it's messing up the werewolves)

 

the other thing you can try is changing all of the wolf's (the normal wolf not the were) skin settings to see if they change there size.

For testing i set Arousal from 50 to 0, tested it with a Hentai creature spawn of a dog, an Archdemon, a ballista and a Sphere. I also tested it with a Ballista and a Sphere in qasmoke, just in case that Hentai Creatures is not working correctly. Moonlight tales is not installed. ok... I will test for the werewolf...

Hm... Switched to a different mesh fom MNC to Classic for the werewolf, but NO changes.

 

I have no dick at all. (If that helps)

that would probably be a Creature Framework problem then, my guess would be that it's reading the json files but not doing anything after that (i am assuming you already tried clicking on "Re-register all mods"), for all i know it could be a SkyUI64 related problem, i'm completely clueless on how that thing even works.

 

but just double check More Nasty Critters to make sure you did not change any formids by accident when you converted it to 64, and i don't know if anything needs to be done with the meshes or textures.

The meshes have been converted and they are ok. The ESM is untouched. ( It has a wrong header number (43 instead of 44) but that usually does not do any harm. As long as the anims play, i can live without dicks. I might install 'wear and tear' so that playing with the Spheres and the Balistas becomes more immersive. I hope that someone takes a look at the creature framework to check weather there is a problem with the scripts.

I've took the nif file you gave me and replaced one in my data/meshes/blabla folder. 

Then when i loaded my current save, the game crashed - it was a specific type of crash, game loaded alright ( without music ), stayed on for 1 second and then CTD'ed.

It was a save in the Hall of Elements, College of Winterhold so no giants nearby, but it was already AFTER i met one. When i restored the original file game loaded without a problem.

 

BUT !

I have a save from the Abandonded Prison ( Live Another Live mod ), its my backup save after i already set up all of the MCM menus ( because its a pain in the ass to do that and its easily the most dreaded thing when starting up Skyrim again ).

It loaded up alright ( i wanted to test something ), it even loaded another start without a problem ( Werewolf in Frostmoon Crag to be specific ). Qasmoke also loaded without a problem.

So its just strange.

 

EDIT :

Scratch that - its probably not related to that giant thing, im 99% sure its some conflict between HDT, Gwelda Dawnguard boots i was wearing and the Hall of Elements floor ( before i saved i saw those boots sink to the floor instead being propped up like a heel shoe and when i loaded the game while looking at the character, he jerked suddenly right before game crashed ) ...

Man that game is a mess..

it's for dealing with sexlab's "even actor heights" setting, it tends to stay turned on even when it's set to off in the mcm, and that setting is known to cause a "pure virtual function call" crash:

but the dll is made for 32bit skyrim, so you should probably remove it.

 

i mostly just added it to stop SexLab from overriding my wolf rescaling script and the setscale console command.

I just finished making More Nast Critters work in Skyrim SE... well, as near as I can tell.  I haven't had one of them rape someone, yet.  But the MCM is working, registering animations, etc.

 

Here's how:

Load JContainers64 alpha:  Here: https://github.com/ryobg/JContainers/releases/tag/v4.0.0-alpha

 

Next you have to edit CreatureFramework.psc line 54 from this:

 

 if JContainers.APIVersion() == 3 && JContainers.FeatureVersion() >= 2 && JContainers.IsInstalled()

 

to this:

 

 if JContainers.APIVersion() == 4 && JContainers.FeatureVersion() >= 0 && JContainers.IsInstalled()

 

and recompile.

 

You need the scripts from Sexlab Aroused or Sexlab Aroused Redux in order to successfully compile these.   They are found in the .bsa file from those mods.

 

But if you'd rather not bother, I've attached my edited versions to this post.

For some odd reason when i did a clean install of all my mods i switched over to this from the MNC 9.3 but, it keeps saying about i am missing the nude creatures esp files. I have tried to figure this out but i must be missing something? I thought it was included, any info?

it sounds like you forgot to update/patch another mod somewhere, the SLNC esp files got merged into the MoreNastyCritters.esp in v11.

So decided to update old MNC to SLAL version and ended up screwing giant anims, also updated FNIS and XPMSE, have tried reintalling mods multiple times but the giant anims are still broken, only the female animates and the giant does nothing but it's standing idle, any suggestions?

MNC dose not have any giant animations, they are form sexlab itself (or other SLAL Packs).

try rerunning FNIS and then in game click on "Rebuild Animation Registry".

Funny they worked before the update tho, already run FNIS several times and rebuilt and no luck, it's always the same result just the female animates, gonna try older versions of mods and see if they work, if they work then most likely I fucked something in the upgrade process.

Don't know how it happened but the animation and behavior folders from meshes/actor/giant were not there, so going to need to reinstall my slal packages for my issue, beats the living fuck outta me how that happened after installing newer fnis and xpmse or prolly careless when updating mnc to slal but folders weren't recycle bin but whatever found my issue.

Drill down until you find a folder that has a subfolder named "Textures", when you find the "Textures" subfolder you are in the correct Data folder.
