So what is the beggar rape scene?

Also, how do you get drunk with Marsus and is there a command for the memory scenes?

Spoiler

There are two (three if you stretch it) new beggar scenes:

The first is with Hamlof the Beggar (refuse his initial request for a kiss, and then acquiesce to him later)

The second is if you got a second drink with the stranger at the start of the quest, then go to "find the truth" after capturing the thief by using a memory potion while near the bench outside of the Bee and Barb, then go to the docks using a second memory potion.

The third is accessible after the second scene. After finding the beggar hideout, lose the fight against them (not sure if it really counts as one, but after going through the effort to see the second one, might as well see it)

Spoiler

I know brewmasterhal has said there is no Beggar revenge scene.

Is there a revenge scene for the Old Man, the Khajit Assassin, or for The Phantom?

Is there a variable for changing whether or not we sat down for another drink with the stranger at the beginning of the quest? I'm playing through the new version but didn't select that choice, but was wondering if I could at least trigger the new beggar scene without having to start a new save since I'm pretty far into my current one.

And I guess for future reference, how would I go about finding these variables myself, if anyone happens to know?

Provisional walkthrough for stuff that I have personally experienced. Feel free to add your own bits if you find any missing.

We start out just like in 9.5.5 and go on our way through the chase. The minor changes being that now the NPC's have a little more life to them and going into and from Mast teleports us to the brothel or hall, rather than making us go through changing clothes every time.

The Arena:

Upon losing to Bobo our character can return 5 days later, where Ormax holds a tournament for his fighters. The reward is our poor PC. It appears it's possible to do this repeatedly, but I only did the initial one.

It is also possible to ask fighters for advice when our PC deems training too slow(keep doing pushups and stay below lvl 5 until she starts pondering to herself. This unlocks the scenes.)

It is also also possible to get endurance/stamina training from Ormax himself.  Haven't tested it myself, but the conditions are supposedly to practice with the dummy until the player has a similar thought about it being too slow, then talk to Ormax.  He will only agree if your rank is 5 or above.

There are yet more scenes, which you can get if you become the arena champion, then fight again on another day while nude.  If you have 600+ karma, you can get up to two additional scenes after the initial one.

Kruvar:

The cleaning boy now has his own minigame. It is a long process where you must gradually make him used to the PC, before getting 2 scenes, one of which being similar to that with Kust or Lod where it's always the same no matter what.

Worth noting here: the way this is implemented, Kruvar only gains in his - I guess - bravery stat when you show him something he hasn't seen before.  That means that to get him to a high enough level that you can do more than flash him, you have to try all of the options.  It also means that once he's seen the stuff you can do early in a scene, like spreading your legs, it's actually better to be modest in the early part of the scene so that he doesn't get too scared to handle the stuff you can show him later.

The Dice:

Torik's ring can now be played for. The guy who has it is a VIP at the Mast and saw us working there at least once. There is a lot of possible content with him, most of it being rape, but I have not played it myself yet.

The Codex:

Depending on how long we've been there we are punished for crimes. If we break it on Day 1 the result is death. I broke it on Day 16 and as my first offense the punishment was some jail time and a quarter of my funds. I haven't continued breaking the law but there are new scenes to unlock.

I haven't tested this, but my guess would be that the point when you are no longer subject to instant death is after killing the Beast.  The set of punishments is: imprisonment and a 25% fine, whipping and a 50% fine, public rape and a 100% fine, and finally life imprisonment.

The New Content:

Once Runa feels recovered she gives us a list of ingredients. One of them can be bought from Olaf, the rest must be smuggled in by Huzai. He is the guy entering the Skunkway right after us. He can be found in the arena to the right of the entrance.

After some convincing we can either pay him with gold or sex. The scene is rather long and repetitive, but works like a charm. The next day we can brew the potion.

After getting proof of the Thief's crime, his door is broken down. After pulling on the candle next to bed we get to chase him to the surface where we find out he's been caught. We must convince Elisif to let him live and later on get two chances: take him while he's being escorted or follow him to Markarth.

I was wrong about being able to save the thief from the prisoner transport.  That scene is always a red herring and he ends up in Markarth hold.

While waiting for the escort we are approached by a farmer willing to purchase our services for 20 gold, which the PC finds laughable. As he walks away however our PC can change her mind and we get a scene.

The exact amount of karma required to call the farmer to come back is 450 as of now.

That's as far as I've come. It's very scuffed but hopefully it's at least a little bit useful. I will try to update it with new information as I learn it.

In Markarth: after asking around for a bit you can eventually find out who to talk to from either Kleppr, the innkeeper right inside the city, or Hamlof the beggar just outside the inn.

Hamlof wants some food (something like 5 loaves of bread will do), then a bottle of any kind of alcohol, and finally asks for a kiss.  If you agree it is simply a kiss, otherwise he asks you to return later (around 21:00 works) and there is a much longer scene.  You can cancel the scene in a number of places, but he only gives you the information if you complete it.

Kleppr will tell you for 1000 gold, but he's willing to cut up to 200 off if you'll help him cuckold his nagging wife.  He also wants you to come back later, in this case somewhere around 18:00 - 20:00.

Both send you to talk to a guy named Marsus in the Warrens, whose door is sealed until you find this information.  Marsus tells you to go away until you punch him, at which point you can ask him to get you to the prison.  He demands that you bring him booze.  If you bring him enough (by pouring it into the huge pitcher behind him) you can sit in the chair next to him and drink with him.  After the scene, you can return to Marsus and ask him what happened for another scene, and you can use two memory potions to discover two additional scenes.  You can also do a repeatable scene by returning to the miners and knocking on the door after some time.

Marsus offers you two ways into the prison: as a regular prisoner, or as a sex slave.  The regular way costs several thousand gold, but when you arrive you have the possibility of not getting raped if you pass a simple minigame (and also the possibility of being thrown into a hole if you fail a different minigame).  The slave way has obvious results.

Once inside, you have a long series of fetch quests, running back and forth talking to people and doing stuff.  There's only one really substantial scene here, if you choose to hide a honey nut treat in your ass.

Easiest thing to do is to play long enough to get a couple of allies, then just start murdering people.  This section is very long and not much happens in here (a good deal of content was cut here due to time).  Best to get past this stuff and on to better things.

Once outside, you can finally talk to the thief for a bit.  He explains that he made a Faustian bargain and robbed you to pay for it.  He tells you that you need to recover five caches from around Skyrim and return to him.  These are annoying to find, and I will eventually add screen shots to show exactly where these are.  When you get back to him, you have to just give him the pouches or he will run and force you to kill him.  He tells you where to go to meet his demon, after which you can meet him at the Nightgate inn for an end credits sequence.

In the epilogue, you can return to Riften and use memory potions to find out what happened.  If you woke up outside, you will need two potions to see both scenes, the second of which points you to a cave that can be found just East of Largashbur.  Killing the bandits inside allows you to recover your stuff from the chest.  If you woke up inside, a memory potion shows that Talen-Jei was the thief.  Confronting either Talen or Keerava simply results in a dialog scene, but telling Stanius about it results in two very long scenes, which I describe at the top of this post.

If you have high enough karma, you can call farmer before he goes away. You get a scene on top of the roof while wait for the escort to pass by.

Is it on a timer or do we need an insane amount of karma?

I don't exactly recall amount of karma. Just use console and set it to something like 800.

When farmer passes by there is a moment when PC keeps watching at him. If you don't act (meaning if you don't "click"), farmer just goes away and you miss the scene.  So, you need to do a mouse "click" and  you can trigger the scene. If you do if correctly, PC shouts to farmer to "come back" and the scene starts

man, reading all these comments (i can't help it) made me even more excited.

i just wanted to ask to people who get to play from patreon, based on your experiences, are there too much bugs to fix, when can we expect the public release? or did Dogma tell anything about it?

I ported 1.0 version to SSE and playing.  No big issues that prevents me progressing through the quest so far. It's kinda playable.

First, you need to have worked in the Mast at least once.  When you talk to him, ask if he will sell you the ring.  When he declines, ask if he will trade it for sex.  There is an intro scene that is a memory of working in the Mast and finding out that he is a VIP there.  He then demands sex immediately.  You are not allowed to comply, but if you go to the Mast the next day and try to work you will not be able to and you must return and have sex with him on the table.  If you then beat him at dice, he immediately rapes you.  If you then play for the ring and beat him again, he rapes you again.

I missed a lot. Hope you can write a new workthrough for 1.0.

There are two (three if you stretch it) new beggar scenes:

When I played it, the scene when you lose to the two beggars in the cave is just a bad end.  Something like 6-7 lines of dialog and then they cut your throat.

There is technically one more new scene that involves a beggar.  If you wake up in the B&B at the very beginning, then return for the B&B memory potion scene, then return to Stanius and tell him that Talen was the real thief, then wait a full day and return to Stanius, then agree to have sex with him, don't cancel any of the scenes that follow, and finally return to Haelga's and read her diary.  During the memory scene that plays after reading the diary, a beggar gets involved near the end.

Is there a revenge scene for the Old Man, the Khajit Assassin, or for The Phantom?

Currently, the Khajiit assassin does make an appearance.  I haven't played enough to find the scene yet.  Dogma posted a while back that the old man stuff was not ready for this version and has been postponed.

Also, is there a way to skip to the scene with the dice guy? The new dice result command doesn't seem to work.

The cheat command for the SW dice minigame is setpqv syq_sw_dice playerResults 21.  Check the FAQ for a guide on how to use it.

It's prid <refID> followed by enable.

There are a few variables that can be changed to achieve what you're looking for, but it's very complicated.  Depending on exactly what you're trying to accomplish.  Unfortunately, there's not always just one variable that signifies the outcome of a given decision, but can be many dozens that cascade from it.

And I guess for future reference, how would I go about finding these variables myself, if anyone happens to know?

Depending on the circumstance, you might be able to get away with the following:

  1. Install xTranslator and open the mod
  2. While playing, find a dialog line that you believe depends on a specific condition, for which there is an alternative line which depends on a different condition
  3. Use the search feature in xTranslator to find the line and note its formID
  4. Open the mod file in TES5Edit and use the formID jump feature to jump to the dialog line
  5. Scroll down and look at the conditions for the line, then look for the alternative line and note its conditions
  6. Back in the game, use the setpqv command to update quest variables, the forceRefintoAlias command to update reference aliases, and the set ... to command to update globals

If you're not in luck and you need to change a condition that's checked inside a scene or a script instead of in dialog:

  1. Use a BSA extractor to dump all of the scripts from the Thief.bsa archive into my \Champollion\compiled\ directory
  2. Run a .bat file to decompile all of the scripts
  3. Open the mod in the CS and open the correct quest, then the correct scene entry
    1. If you don't know the right quest, use the above xTranslator procedure to find the line, then note which quest it's attached to
  4. Use the comment labels at the top of the scene flowchart and the dialog to find the scene stage that you're looking for and note any start/end conditions for the stage
  5. Use the above set of commands to update any relevant variables
  6. If that still doesn't work or you cannot find any relevant conditions, open the decompiled script in a text editor and start reading through the functions until you find something that looks right, and try it
  7. If you're not sure what you're looking for, use the directory-level textual search feature of an editor like notepad++ to search the text of every single script for a term

Is it normal for the convoy to go towards Whiterun? After Rorikstead they keep going west and right now I have no idea how they are supposed to end up in Markarth. It took like 40 minutes to get to this point. If this is not a bug then it has to be the worst part of the mod, period.

There is a scene in the mine if your character is pregnant, but it takes a while to show up. I consoled in ore and gems and kept sleeping 12 hour jumps to try to speed up events but it's still grindy.

I'm not sure if it progresses on time or if it updates only when you have sex with Lefty, but your character's pregnancy will progress (and if you have a body/skeleton mod with a belly node this will be visible) to a point where Lefty notices it mid-session and then gets his two henchmen to milk your character. After it's done it's a repeatable event like with Lefty fucking event.

Once you kill the guys in the mine and escape a message pops up saying that since Dogma hasn't finished the pregnancy quest, your character's torso will be reset to default for the rest of the mod + after the end.

Presumably once Dogma finishes it the pregnancy quest will be one of the epilogue things you can do alongside finding the beggars who robbed you etc.

It's not even the right person.  The thief gets taken to Markarth by another route.  You're supposed to murder the guard and find this out relatively quickly.  Guess I forgot that part when I was adding stuff to your walkthrough post.  Sorry.

Sleeping for longer doesn't actually do anything as far as game time.  It gives you more swings at the ore veins before you get too tired, but it also makes days pass faster (and therefore your quotas also come more often).

That sounds like it's going to be just awful to test.  That part of the mod already takes forever.

Indeed.
