Four-Play: Beginner-Friendly Installation Guide (Comprehensive Tutorial to Sexualise your FO4)

Hey guys! What's funny is I was having the same problem with the crashes back to desktop with BOTH the original launcher and F4SEexe as well.

And, the only way I found the solution to my problem was that I had to completely restart my laptop and run F4SE pretty much right after my laptop booted.

Once I close the game again? I couldn't open it again. It would crash right to desktop. Unless, I restarted my laptop again. It gets tedious after awhile honestly but I'm a newbie so if anyone is aware of this problem would appreciate the help.

Other than that? the mods are working great! Awesome job guys!

Seems like a RAM issue...

RAM issue as in, I don't have enough RAM? or...

My VRAM is at 8GB and I have 32GB of RAM. And, I only have 33 mods installed, and not any of them are major, graphically-wise.

But, I appreciate it. Just trying to figure it out... :s

Sometimes the allocation of RAM is poor for Windows, especially the way it handles it tasks as it prioritizes some over others. I'm referring to both VRAM and RAM. Despite people have beefy rigs, this is sometimes issue for them for some reason.

If you're willing to hear me out, I can suggest downloading Boris's ENB and editing ENB.ini to adjust the amount of RAM + VRAM fallout 4 uses.

Good Morning. I am having a little trouble setting this up correctly I think. I have fallowed each step very carefuly and all went well until the last part. I see no sign of a F4SE launcher all I see is still the original Fallout 4 launcher. Can Anyone suggest what i may have missed?

Did you put F4SE stuff in your Fallout 4 folder? From there just start the F4SE launcher.

Pulled this out of the log file while trying to figure out why mine is not working. - "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Scripts\Source\User\four_play\Main.psc" is not my install path, the steam install is on another disc. It this why I can see the animations?

Fixed it but unloading all mods, reloading only the 4_play mods via the guide and then restoring my mods. I then loaded an earlier save.

hello im a newbie and im trying my luck at this instalation

my first confusion is

 Step 6 - Install Leito's Animation Pack

  • Download Leito's Animation Pack Version 1.
  • Install it just like you just did for the nude mods.
  • Make sure that both boxes on the right and left column next to Leito's mod is ticked (enabled).

im not sure what nude mods you refer to

and therefore am not sure what to do next

what i thought was ment was extract the files from the download [ leitos animation pack] then send them to the fall out 4 start up files is that right ?

but then im not sure about any right or left columns

Probably a noob question that's been answered before . . . somewhere.

I'm getting ready to run all this stuff (new treasure trove of animated porn.  Nice :) ).  One of the steps says start an unmodded game.  My question: I am playing several toons, male and female.  Do I need to restart each game (only have 1 male & 1 female unmodded. Rest of my saved games and new characters have either been modded at some point, or started as modded). How to proceed?  Thanks in advance.

For the love of atom I can't get this to work properly. I followed the directions to the 't' and I can't fix it. Everything works properly except the NPC's do not redress. I can get into the NPC's inventory and try to equip their clothes but they are still nude. When I equip clothes on them their body changes as if they were wearing clothes but they are still nude. Any suggestions?

I can't seem to get the lesbian strap on action to work. I've tried equipping them with it before animating and it just strips

EDIT: It seems it works for Crazy's animations but not Leito's

What I found out is you have to go to the testing room. Use console command coc 4test, at the terminal let it search for installed strap ons.

Hey! It seems i have problems too! I get those plugins working (like Prostitution) but actors don't start Leito's animations: they just walk away like a normal conversations. Animations started by Leito's Gun work fine. Any ideas? Thanks :)

same problem plugins work fine....animations wont start even in coc 4 test... leitos gun animations work perfect though...any news?

hey,

I dont know why but I get problems installing the mods still.

So first I installed these mods to the mods I'm already running (some equip not much in terms of heavy lifting (scripts or such))
Then i tried to do this but with a file I previously saved with all mods disabled
after that I tried deactivating everything but body mods and four-play

But all of these had the same result:

I only get the "4play: setting up slots" message
I dont get the one for Leitos animations or the "Sex slots set"

I have seen previous people posting this but not have seen it resolved.

Edit:
My final attempt today was disabling all mods, create a save file, then only install 4play mods (not even CBBE or the male body) and try again, but I still only get "setting up slots"

I tried it both with and without read-only on prefs and custom inis.

I am out of options here.

First off, let me thank you and Lieto for the work you have done to make F4 a much more "exciting" game. I am most appreciative. Now, if I only can get the animations to work. ;^D

I think I have followed the tutorial, correctly.  In fact, after I do a clean save and then a quick save and load the quicksave - the prostitution dialogues commence, I surrender when beaten in a fight, I hear NPCs moaning, I am given a sex pistol but, alas, no animations.  I downloaded with NMM and I do have the latest F4SE - I have downloaded Lieto's animations, the compatibility patch, fourplay resources esp (this actually gets loaded at the top of the load order before Lieto), four_play.esp, 4PlaySEU.esp, (I have also the 2 Crazy Animations and I tried both with them installed and uninstalled) and then MIndless Sex, FP violate, FP Prostitution, FP Vanilla Fudge, FP KIdnapped and FP Autonomy.  I launch the game through NMM - Launch F4SE using the little triangle thingy in the top left hand tab.  I never see the verbiage that the Lieto animations and four play are registered after I launch the game so I figure I have not done it correctly.

After I start with the clean save and then do the quick save, the quick save is modded (starts with an "M" designation). Could that be the problem?

Just thinking of what I have done wrong.

Thank you in advance for any thoughts

Best

For everyone having trouble getting the mod to work, please make sure to manually install the Scripts folder from the Fallout4ScriptExtender folder, as outlined in Vinfamy's Instructions. 99% of the time, this is the step people are missing if they have the dialogue and everything but the "Slots loaded" notice and animations.

Edit: Sorry, Vinfamy posted the installation guide, I apologize Vinfamy.

Gotta give credit where its due.

Just wanted to let you know that you seem to have steps 6 and 7 under the Nexus Mod manager spoiler out of order.  6 references installing the same way as the nude bodies which I assume means the body files you don' actually say to install till step 7 (CBBE etc.).  Guessing its just a typo but wanted to let you know.  Thanks for the work on this.
