Well now I've got a problem with the brothel part of the mod.

 

NPCs will begin to attack eachother after some time, so Cait will be firing on some of the Raider clients in the zone. I built this brothel in Home Plate, and Ellie Perkinson from Valentine's detective agency died in the battle when I came back. This isn't a problem for me as I wasn't going to do the main story line but this can be a problem for other quest-related NPCs that die during random battles with raiders in the brothel.

Ok, that did not work either. None of the fixes worked, so I will have to do a fresh install. Thank the gods I have a copy on a back up drive!!

 

(NOTE: The culprit is most likely "Snap'n Build" & not this mod)

 

This would not be an issue if this mod had support for Settlement Menu Manager (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24204/?).

probably a mod conflict somewhere, I'll add a button to Vin's CP to harmonize everyone in emergency like this.

 

btw, Ellie Perkins is not essential for the main quest (she won't die otherwise), you can go straight to Park Street Station and save Nick. He'll make comments related to her death.

hey vinfamy, first let me say thx to all your work on 4play related mods, its awesome!

I have a few issues with the prostituiton plugin, but before I get into that let me make the sugestion about the control panel plugin: allow crafting at the chem station, cuz if you use a mod that alters pipboys in specific ways, in my case, using pip-pad mod, you get the apparel control item when you start a new game, but pip-pad removes it upon actually getting the pip-pad before leaving the vault.

(you can bypass this by running the mod after you get the pip-pad but its still more practical to be able to craft it)

 

and about prostituion:

not sure if its actually caused by other mods, wich is likely (maybe sim settlements, that I am currently using) assiging a prostitute and building the safe, breaks a few sandbox behaviors, for example settlers assigned to sim settler stores will no longer go behind the counter and lolligag around the safe placement instead.

also spawned/moved clients dont appear to go away even if I unassign the prostitutes and even scrap the safe, this in my case broke the abernathy quest as the abernathy npcs were moved to the safe area and now stay there and dont give me their quest

there is also a issue with prostitutes and clientes being ported around the safe area and causing clipping with objects and misalignment animation issues.

 

anyone else experienced this or is it a issue on the mods I have running?

Great work Vin! It's a great mod. I have a few suggestions that I wanted to share:

 

1. Make clients spawn and then de-spawn instead of using nearby npcs because all the settlers spend all of their time at the brothel now (for example my clinicians never tend to their posts anymore!)

 

2. Reduce sex frequency for immersion purposes :)

 

3. Have animations fixed to objects that we can place in the brothel instead of having it all over the place.

Bro, i think your mod has a really odd side effect.

 

Turning prostitution mod on and off many many times resulted in humanoid enemies (raider, gunner, synth) turning permamently friendly.

I was able to walk up to old Kellog and bash in his head without resitanse. I can nuke formely hostile NPCs without anyone in their faction turning hostile globally.

BUT the BOS is now hostile to me, forced friendlies like Danse will not speak to me at all.

I am currently researching who else is affected.

Any monster NPC and robot is not affected as far as i can tell.

 

Btw, toggle prostitution mode does not alter this behavoir.

 

I first noticed the ultra friendly behavoir when i walked through Vault 114 without any Triggerman shooting me. I checked more hostile factions, same reaction.

The whole thing about hostile BOS occured when my Settlers started to shoot a passing by BOS Vertibird and the powerarmored Knight started slaughtering them all, lol.

 

Otherwise, your mods are great, having a lot of fun pimping Piper out to all the guys who hate her lol.

 

Anyway, if this problem is known, i apologise for not looking through all the posts.

 

Keep up the pioneering work here :D

 

EDIT:

After digging arund the faction relations, i noticed that i was placed in a different faction, which is not the "Player Faction". After reassigning myself to this faction, the previous hostiles were hostile again, but Danse and friends still refuse to talk to me. Fast travelling around solved the no reaction problem on Danse.

 

I guess your faction change script, if you use any, is bugged or bugs out at some point.

Well i have no idea how your mod works, but this is my best guess out of the blue :D

I didn't add faction (it's a dummy CharmFaction to add both the player and the enemies to, I never added the player to enemies faction) via a script, but via quest aliases, which are the absolutely safest methods possible.  More likely you are turning on and off prostitution too quickly that you're trying to stop the harmonize dummy quest in the middle of starting, or start it in the middle of stopping. The game's way of removing from factions is notoriously non-latent and one of the most inconsistent functions in the game, don't stress it too much.

Uploaded 2.2 - allowed Super mutants for mod (i.e. by default won't attack you in prostitution mode and will then approach +  potential clients for brothels). You'll need the latest Four-Lei (called Four-Lei Plus) to load Leito's new Super mutant animations for use with Prostitution.

 

Also improves the brothel NPC spawning system - clients will now spawn in the area around the safe, rather than literally on the safe itself so they won't get stuck and will use all your furniture. Also excluded current working settlers from being clients so that they tend to their assigned duties. Also allowed Synth Gen 2 to be clients.

I see your point here. I was actually looking more at the end result rather than the actual cause. Caught myself toggle the mode a few times in a row due to not seeing the notification...

Is there a way to adjust the NPCs that get pulled in as clients? Say I want to remove a certain NPC, or change their race, or add in my own. Which files should I edit in the CK?

Yea, it's Quest > FPP_Brothel > Quest Aliases 

 

Just change one of the Clients alias to whatever you want

Amazing work, really liking what you're doing. However, I ran across a few quirks in the new version - raiders are pulled as clients, settlers sometimes start shooting them, and I was kidnapped by a pacified settler in Sanctuary.

I seem to have a problem with this mod and it's interaction with i think other mods but i don't know the cause exactly... sry.

 

1>  not sure if its the mod or the talking step away thing but i use unlimited companion framework and i constantly seem to have my followers stop doing following me once i activate pimp mode. i can talk, trade and order them to go somewhere but they will not follow me on their own.

 

2> i have found this with my current base companion Piper but her name is constantly being changed to 2 green square symbols... i have no idea what is causing this but i had to get the renaming settlers mod to give her back her name frequently...

 

dissmissing, disabling, recycle actor, resurrect do not work, as well as toggling pimp mode does nothing either so far.

 

hope someone can shine some light on these issues coz i lov the mod and want it as part of my main list

Well, I've had both supermutants and raiders show up as clients:  And when the sex is over, they're cut down by turrets and/or settlers.  A bit unfair to the Johns if you ask me...

Amazing work, really liking what you're doing. However, I ran across a few quirks in the new version - raiders are pulled as clients, settlers sometimes start shooting them, and I was kidnapped by a pacified settler in Sanctuary.

 

Raiders and other hostile factions (including Super mutants) being brothel clients are expected - it gives more diversity to the brothel. I overwrote the AI with a harmonized one to stop all combat, but maybe sometimes it fails or another mod adds another package that has higher priority (maybe a combat overhaul mod)

 

For Kidnapped/ Violate, actually friendly NPCs can be your violators too, just shoot someone and let the whole settlement attack you - if you lose, you'll be banged just like you would with raiders.

 

 

 

Try disable Vanilla Fudge 's esp. Some people reported something similar in that thread . I haven't had time to look at it yet.

Let me elaborate - I was in Sanctuary, where I had prostitutes working, with a whole bunch of actors from the area settling in, raiders and friendly npcs alike. Kidnapped kicks in, and the kidnapper selected is one of the raiders drawn to Sanctuary for the prostitutes who is calmed by that effect. Outcome being, I only get transported to another part of Sanctuary, no combat takes place, and instead of any sort of adventures, it turns out to be just an annoyance.

 

I don't know if this is intended behavior, but as my experience with it has, that part of it is not enjoyable.

The Heather Casdin follower get it's AI nuked by prostitution mode, and the brothel hogties her into being a perpetual client. Haven't had time to test it too much but so far she's fucked.

i tried the brothelbuilding and had around a minute later a fight of my settlers with some raiders that where spawned from the brotheltresor, is this normal or where there soemthign going wrong?

 

builded it insanctuary with 8 settlers in sanctuary and 2 of them as working personel of the brothel

Hi, it was used to be normal before the upgrade 

 

But it goes wrong now

no matter how I re-install the four-lei animation / patch / nudesuits 

 

 

the animation works fine in Violate (although the nudebody for male still can't pick the right one, always use default one.)

But in Prostitution, the male just naked and stand. (female works fine)

 

 

Is there something wrong with my four-play prostution mod order?

Violate and Prostitution calls the sex function from Four-Play in exactly the same way. Could just be a one-off. The NPC has a overriding package or something (I know it happens with Diamond City security guards sometimes)

Alright then I might be waiting for more version in the future :s

(in this version you cancel the ring, right? only Panel control)

 

I just re-install the prostitution mod, this time it gets worse.

After the questioning in the start, the clients have no response anymore.

Use a clean save. Your save sounds messed up.

 

This version changed absolutely nothing when it comes to normal prostitution outside brothel. No reason why that would be broken.

 

All this version does is adding super mutants to the list of harmonized enemies when in prostitution mode and to the potential brothel clients list + spawning clients near but not on the brothel safe.
