how does one accomplish that? Dug through pages in here and no hints...

 

 

you need to install the http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/4176-vinfamys-control-panel/

then just open the inv/apparel on your pip boy and click on the control panel item.   it opens a menu allowing you to toggle prostitution on and off and a general section to change some things. 

 

well that could be the issue, I unpacked installed to data and the option does not show.

 

​Mod is listed in master.

 

​Item is not in apparel, tried adding it with player.additem with the listed Id and it says it does not exist.

 

I was able to add the rings and hats, just not the console option.

 

this is a clean save.

The power armor BOS and the super mutants are not valid and on Super mutant stands there with arms out to the side with a black face. 

 

You *must* go to the COC room to enable "Can Opener" at the terminal.

 

Hit the tilde key & type "coc 4test" & hit ENTER. Walk up to the Terminal & select Admin stuff.

 

To escape, type "coc sanctuaryext".

Found possible bug in the Prostitution mode.  I played a brothel safe in one of houses in sanctuary, and hired a random settler as a prostitute.  I found wolfgang his related quest npcs and Sully in the brothel and now they wont leave essentially its dragging every commonwealth npc I run into back to sanctuary.   

 

 

Also a request I would like to put forth:  All my shop npcs are hanging out in the brothel.  Maybe set brothel use during certain times of the day So store managers and farming npcs will not hangout constantly fucking the one prostitute because the entire town just hangs out in there now.

 

I've noticed that as well,  its not just NPCs I run into.  I've encountered NPC's I've never met in the brothel.   LOL Not to mention that piper some how became a prostitute and wont quit.   I should feel ashamed that sweet innocent piper has become corrupted.   oh well.. Squirrel!

Are you using the latest version?  I specifically implemented an exception for not picking other settlers as clients. Forgot about companions again, will do.

 

Furthermore, it's probably not that they won't leave, it's just that they been selected as clients whenever you visit the brothel because they're nearby. When you're not there, they should be teleported back in their vanilla locations.

I've tested out 1.2. Settlers no longer engage as customers which is great as it doesn't disturb the flow of commerce (lol) anymore. I have however run into the issue of the raider and supermutant customers being tagged as hostile by settlement security/other settlers which results in a constant bloodshed around the brothel (hilarious). Is there the possibility to implement options  for what type of customer you'd want to see in the brothel? I personally don't like allowing raiders into my settlement. Also, if possible, make your control panel a holotape rather than an apparel item. The holotape system is more convenient (no need to constantly navigate through the same menus) and less cluttered. BTW great work!

discovered two bugs,  the first bug is if you make a companion a prostitute it makes them unresponsive.  I'm not sure if its just making them a hooker or when you go to dismiss them as a hooker since the only option is to make them a normal settler.   

 

the second bug, is when there is a raid on a settlement the super mutants or raiders head straight to the brothel making the quest hang.    I find it funny that a little nooky calms the savage beast and ends the war.  "what super mutants are attacking, quick send the hookers to the front lines"

First off this is a REALLY good start. Just loving it.

 

Can confirm it is pulling in unique NPC's causing some quest to not become complete-able. They do go back when I toggle the mode off, but it is breaking the quests they are associated with.

Even if I disable approach, I'm still getting approached... I really don't care about being approached. I can hustle my own clients.

 

I actually like the random violence that is taking place. I would keep that glitch in place, the wasteland is not a nice place and a drunk raider is not always going to play nice.

 

I would also think having hours exactly opposite of the shops is a brilliant idea, night life.

When the "random violence" happens every time you fast travel back to your settlement, the place that should be a (somewhat) safe haven from all the dangers of the wasteland, it gets old pretty fucking fast.

so I disabled the mod, piper became a companion again, saved, exited, renabled the mod.  Piper still good.  added a safe to the whore house. Piper frowned but was still good.   opened the control box activated prostitution, made a settler into a hooker and wham Piper back to being a non follower.    It could be that she disapproves of hooking after being one for so long.   I suspect its a bug.   LOL

 

Seriously though, I don't get the connection.   unless she some how shares a script or something in the AI is conflicting but it should have done that from the start not just suddenly stop following.  wait this is bethesda, yeah it could just come out of nowhere.   I might take a look in the FO4edit and see if anything slaps me in the face.

Is it possible to get an option to select the NPC gender allowed to approach the Prostitute/Player?

 

Mabey a selection like M->F / F->M / F->F / M->M

 

Install "autonomy" you can set probability of ff mm scenes. You can also toggle off this plug-in, it trigger 4play scenes types also "prostitution" too.

2.2.1 Released - Preventing combat when brothel clients are raiders etc should now be better. Current companions no longer picked as brothel clients. Companion no longer randomly freezes when a client approaches you.

 

 

Should be fixed now in 2.2.1. It was a cheat way for me to help Four-Play line up better in Doc's absence (so that companion isn't moving when you pimp them out - actors moving when sex scene is triggered is a major cause of bad Four-Play alignment), but it seems to do more harm than good. Should leave animation alignment up to the framework really.

thanks, so far so good.   Now I need to make a mega brothel that will be  head and buttocks above all others, a shining beacon of apocalyptic smut for the huddled masses.  As Dogmeat told me, if I build it they will cum...er... come I mean.  Dogmeat is so dirty minded what a dog.

How would I set this up so that *only* setters and neutral factions (of my choosing) can be clients? I don't like walking into Sanctuary and seeing Sully and his raiders, and Trashcan Carla, partaking of the high class services I offer at my establishment.

Another good mod by Vinfamy, but this one suffers from a number of bugs. First are the companion issues in which you lose control of your companion any time you fast travel to a brothel. You can get it back by pimping them, but this doesn't always work. Second, the mod spawns raiders and super mutants as clients, but if you have regular settlers in the same settlement they will attack and kill the raiders and super mutants. A third and minor issue is the caps your character charges seems to fluctuate. Actually having a brothel and fast traveling to it forces it to charge the correct value, but it may not remain consistent. Lastly most of the time brothel clients and npc prostitute animations rarely line up well. Quite often one or the other will be within or on the other side of any nearby walls. I'm not trying to be over critical here, just trying to inform the mod author of the mods issues. Once the kinks are worked out this has the potential to be a really good mod.

Go to CK > Quest > FPP_Brothel, and change the Client quest aliases. Add a condition for this. Filter the conditions with "Enemy", I'm pretty sure there's a condition for Enemy factions.

 

 

The latest version should fix the raiders and supermutants starting combat at least.

 

Alignment can only be fixed by the framework. It just happens more with the brothel because the actors are more likely to collide with furniture and stuffs.

On the latest version I'm still getting customers attacked by my settlers, it takes a few minutes to happen, i see them draw their guns a few times and then stop like they change their mind and then eventually it kicks off, clients dont go agro, just my settlers.  I do have the brothel in sanctuary in quite an fps intensive area, i wonder if there is too much going on for it to work properly?, i will try in a quieter area, see if its the same

 

Also what is it that flags npcs as available to be prostitutes?, i have a few custom companions that i want to earn their keep when their not with me but when ever i try to add them, i just proposition them.

They've been added as prostitutes. Ignore the "Are you looking for a good time" - it always shows.

Even though i dont get the pop up menu?.  with cait, curie and blood rose(custom companion from nexus), i get the 3 option menu,  make settler/recruit as prostitute etc but i dont get it with some of them.  I dont know if it would matter but the ones i have the problem with are not full companion mods like heather casdin types, the are basically just followers.
