sen4mi Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Making sex games is ... rough. Everyone has their own preferences and that usually means 96% of them conflict with yours. Sex itself is not just one thing, but many - it has a biological basis and things feel very different depending on a lot of things. If you focus too much on the short time right before orgasm, that is one thing, but that alone does not work in a game except for people when they are right there in those few short seconds. So, how do you "sync up with the players feelings"? That... is an art, and requires you also sync up in a variety of ways. But, anyways, you need gameplay for that also. Usually, I think, things work out best when you recognize and manage to include somehow some defects (and compensate for them). For example, if I were doing a sex game, I might in the opening scenes make it so that the character had been drugged or something, such that orgasm was either impossible or extremely difficult. This would lead to the character being depressed or something and the cure would be some sort of arousal therapy - you have to do this because your life depends on it... this kind of conflict could then lead into some kind of gameplay. And then I would add another layer on - like maybe a physical fitness element - the higher your fitness the faster things cycle, but also when low arousal "high arousal" conversation options would be closed off, and vice versa for high arousal - inbetween would mostly be inbetween options. Another aspect of a sex game, though, should be the whole "porn focus" thing where certain things get repeated over and over, representing the character focusing on those things. Just grab some sex story you like to get some ideas for phrases or images for this... anyways, a few repetitions seem perfect for something that would fit in a game. But another thing that makes sex games rough is that you have to do most of the work on them when you are not really "in the mood" but you have to judge and plan that work when you are... and it is not always easy to translate between how you perceive things across these moods.

It does have the option to make half-human hybrids (essentially Anime styled cat girls) but it is still primarily beast people. Dedicated fan bases tend to have people who have the drive to create these sorts of games rather than settling for erotic visual novels (which most H-Games tend to amount to) or Flash Games. I honestly can't find any better on Lewd Gamer or the sites that it links to at the moment.

But I know of 2 fantasy games that are actually designed to focus on both sex and combat/RPG mechanics. They aren't free, however. I'd write a few pages worth of stuff that I was reread and realize was a whole bunch of nothing that would be condensed into a single paragraph or sometimes a single sentence.

There are different girls to choose from each one with different moves as well as different sexy time moves But before that can happen first have to either pull their clothes off or break them. Once their lower garment is gone you can sex them up with some different sex type moves. Yeah, that's how it works in a book. But when you're writing a sort of CYOA story, shorter passages work better.

Sims 3 and 4 mods lack texture and mesh details and proper lighting, just like the games themselves. Also nothing beats sexing up a full-blown RPG. There's just much more freedom on what you can do with sex mods in this type of game than anywhere else. About the in-house contestants: Oblivion is too old and has a banalshitboring gameworld and Fallout 4 doesn't seem to take off in the sex mod department any time soon.

I hate to say obvious things, but Skyrim wasn't a sex game originally. Back in 2011, vanilla Skyrim gives me an air of anything but definitely not sex. And look at it now... It's 2017 year now, and thanks to community efforts Skyrim has become a sex game... if you have installed the necessary mods, that is. I don't think any game could satisfy the player's personal tastes as good as customized Skyrim. That's because you do choose your mods yourself and build your own game with these. For example, can't stand furry or BDSM stuff? Install bestiality or necrophilia mods and be happy... I think the Skyrim plug-in system, diligent community and a huge variety of mods for that game is an answer to "why Skyrim are the best". Not only as sex game.
