i'm stuck in "she's a friend indeed" after I talked to wolfmother, i must talk to (hillo? i forgot exactly, I will update tommorow) in goodneigbor. but I cannot find him, any clues?

 

i think she mentioned about hotel roxford? maybe in there? but i cannot find him. btw hotel rexford in my game change to new hotel rexford & casino because a quest mod. is it because of that i can't find the man i supposed to met?

I dont know this for sure, but if you have a mod that edits a cell or area, like hotel rexford one mod can disrupt another mod. So yes it could be messing with boston breeder. Most likely could be fixed by changing the load order of one of the mods. You'll need to research what that load order should be, i'd help on that except i dont know what the load order should be. might try asking the mod authors about it.

but do you know where to find this "Hillo" guy? is it in hotel roxford?

Okay, im having issues with jade.

I have all required mods, and their requirements installed, yet shes still only a floating head, gun and feet. Whats wrong?

Also, she doesnt stard the dialogue, doesnt kill curtis... got to say, this isnt the only quest where that happens.  Some quests are REALLY not user-friendly. Like the 12 hour cooldown with Hermes, or the fact that to progress you have to select every dialogue option (flee, stand still, fuck him, suck him) at least once before the quest can progress. with nothing to do, having only a dirty matress to sleep on for maximum of 5 hours at a time, dying of infections and fatigue if you're playing survival...

Im loving this mod, and most broken quests i can fix with setstage, but broken scripts are a real issue. I had to redo atlantic officess 6 times because Sonja wouldnt say a proper line, or trigger properly.

The quest with that family in salem? Gets broken after you deal with the gang and meet the deathclaw brother. The girl just stands there without saying her line, and triggered only after the truck near us exploded and damaged her,.

Green Devil: Unable to talk to the alien. Just no option to talk to him. Cant activate him in any way.


I understand how much some parts of this mod are holding by spit and duct tape, but feel like you went too much for number of quests.

ON THE OTHER HAND

I have 183 mods, some of them (like knock-out framework) tend to mess with proper quest progression, so it may be entirely on my end.



EDIT: You can fix the Jade-Curtis scene by shooting him yourself. That seems to trigger the dialogue properly. Yay!

BBM08 - Caught in the Middle.

Is this quest just straight fucking broke? I can't get it to function under any circumstances. It will not progress automatically when I do anything. I MUST use console commands. Amber and Katie don't talk to me, they disappear after Fallon's, they reappear in weird places when I go to meet with the Deathclaws and the quest doesn't advance normally.

 

In short... BBM08 - Caught in the Middle, the quest I've had the most hopes for(building a settlement New Vegas Breeder style) is completely fucked. Any help here? Or can you tell me what would need to be done or looked into to fix this? I would gladly try and get this quest functioning if it meant I could complete the damn thing.

Sadly it's pretty broken, yeah. I think it has to do with the way aliases are filled and something borking up in the programming. If the quest doesn't start, it's an alias issue, otherwise I couldn't tell.

Although I don't recall anything with the two disappearing and reappearing at random...

I can get it to start, but I have to save, enter jamacia plains and reload the save(otherwise interacting with Katie and amber does nothing, no speech). When I enter again it starts up.

Regarding them disappearing, it's not like they vanish in front of me. They disappear and I can't find them. Moving to them with cc does nothing, making me think they get deleted.

I had to use setstage to complete the quest. After getting to the roof, I had to speak to her again, but she played the radio broadcast lines again that started off the whole evade Hermes sequence, then I was instructed to speak to Abagail where she gave me the dufflebag with my stuff with instructions to speak to the girl again. Alas, she would not respond as she seemed to be stuck on stage 180. I had to setstage to 190 to complete the quest.

Till the Cows Come Home FREQ: Remove essential from John Clayton so that I can shoot him in the face like I want to do with any jackoff that calls himself king of my settlement. I don't mind failing that quest by killing him. I used console commands so that I could shoot him and complete the quest. My character oversees Oberland Station, not him.

Caught in the middle - Deathclaw can't talk to it, pick Supermutant and get to the part you are to go kill raiders in Hyde Park, except you already cleared out that location couple hours ago and the mod doesn't spawn any new raiders, so it's stuck and you have Katie and supermutants following you now.

 

The Lost Children -  Shot the raiders before Kimberly talks to them, quest stuck.  Happen to bump or be standing on the spot where Kimberly talks to her mother, quest stuck.

 

Twisted Minds -  Offer blood, doesn't work.

 

Having a holotape to skip quest stages would be handy, or the wiki having the quest stages on all quests.  Quests are way too easy to break and sometimes is just straight up broken.

alright so i found modding fallout 4 to be a little more troublesome then modding skyrim. it took me a fair bit for faue to get working correctly but i am having a few issues that i would like help with that somewhat involves this mod. first off even when naked im stuck moving in a bunny hop as if im in a hobble dress and even though i have the aaf animations setup they are not functioning. so any help would be apreciated. i know i did a derp somewhere and im reletively unsure of how to solve it. i also do not know if the swelling of the belly from a pregnancy is working

Hello hello, I just wanna say I really love this mods content despite some of the bugs, and I hope to see it continue! I'm just starting it again after not playing for over a year, and it's as essential as ever. I was a patreon member a loooong time ago and was wondering if you had anything similar where supporters could donate or something.

As to a Patreon, no, I shut that one down because I couldn't put out enough content to justify the cost of entry. And now, after not having put out any mod content for a few years, I doubt I'll start up something similar for this.

Hi, I'm about to finish the Hornets's quests, and I got a weird bug. Everytime I talk to April after killing Spears, all I get is a CTD (it already happened 4 times).

I've completed the quest only once, when it was still in 1.6.1 and I didn't had thi issue.

Any idea of what it could be?

 

EDIT: I don't know how or why, but by reloading a previous save I reached him walking south, taking the bridge next to Irish Pride) instead of reaching him from north (the Med-Tek) and this time, after killing him, talking to April didn't caused a CTD.

So I installed this mod and I'm a little confused, likely because I'm a hardcore fan of your FO3/FNV work. Jade was basically the guiding force for the game and you essentially needed her, especially with the Zeta DLC part. Your mod for FO3/FNV was basically fused to the DNA of the game and Jade basically replaced the need for any other companions.

 

So my confusion/question, is that how this mod is? There's next to no real outline on how it works or where it starts. Unless these are all basically just radiant side missions, I was expecting something like Mothership Zeta with Jade, she had a lot to say during gameplay if I recall in FO3/FNV so I want to pick her up first and bring her around with me... or is she not as integral to the mod as she was in previous games?

 

I'm dumb, I missed the companion dropdown that says "Jade Greene
She's back, and meaner than ever. That is, if you piss her off, otherwise she's the same angel the Lone Wanderer met. To recruit her, you will have to complete the quest "The Green Devil", which is started automatically after completing the quest "Doctor On Call", which can be started by talking to Dr. Faraday in Diamond City."
