Looking for a UNP/UUNP or compatible Bodyslide for https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11684/?tab=description Barbarian Explorer Armor (Revised) on Nexus. Turns out there is a bodyslide for UNP, here: http://mitakusaner.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-144.html but it's for a previous version of Barbarian Explorer before the added pieces were put into the revised version. Anyone seen (my search-Fu failed me) an up to date bodyslide or able to make one for the Revised vertsion using the older bodyslide?

Thanks!

Sure, I can make UUNP Sliderset(s), but not with the "Oldrim" 32-bit version of Bodyslide- all I have now is Bodyslide2, recent versions that support SSE and FO4- supposedly, it supports Oldrim as well but it's been a couple of years or more since I made anything for Oldrim.

Is there some particular reason you want Slidersets made with obsolete versions of Bodyslide?

I dont. I'm sorry I wasn't specific, Vyxenne. Thank you very much for your response! I need the bodyslide 2 files for this SE mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11684/?tab=description (same link as above) for the Barbarian Explorer Armor in UUNP in HDT/CBP. Now when I say UUNP, I'm using the new 64 bit bodyslide for SE because all my stuff is UUNP texture compatible. This is mostly because I couldnt find Remodeled Armor in CBBE for SE that had the new bodyslide. So I went with one that worked for the UNP textures.

I hope I explained that well enough... ;)

Edit: It's possible there's something core to this I don't yet understand, so my explanation might leave you still scratching your head...

Sure, my character and a follower can look nice. Maybe even a good few unique and often encountered NPCs favored in mods overhauling their appearance. I'd like to have as many people as possible looking good, though. At least enough cosmetic changes and facegendata alterations so very rarely do I encounter someone outside of other mods that look like frogs or bricks.

I've seen people recommend Total Character Makeover and WICO as a base, then load as many others as you like further down your mod list to overwrite the former mods, no merging needed. I imagine it can't be that simple, though. Especially not with WICO wanting to change so much more than facegendata or I believe more than what's advertised. I want CBBE SE and my own custom BodySlide presets and my own textures for skin, eyes, etc. which I think might piss WICO off. There's also the issue of USSEP taking precedence over certain facegendata modifications and needing patches for everyone to play nice.

If you could share with me how you solved this conundrum in Skyrim SE and explain it like you would to a dumbass, that'd be lovely.

LOL. It's almost 3:00 AM and I'm over it for tonight. :classic_wacko:

I downloaded 3 versions of that armor because the first one I downloaded (your link) has a broken mesh (all explody and missing 18 BSTriShapes or so- could not even open it in OS) so I snagged that mesh from the same "revision" (hip-huggers but no underwear) from a different author in a different body type and replaced the one broken mesh with the one from that other version. Then I made SliderSets for all the variants (Chain, Chitin, Ebony, Glass, Gold*, Moon and Red), edited the plugin to correctly identify the previously undifferentiated Gold* variant and batch-built them. The boots clipped as I walked. So I created 7 more SliderSets blah blah blah and I still have a bit of clipping with 2 of them. Boots are the pits because you can't load the body (calves) and feet at the same time and I need to repaint bone weights to stop the clipping. Other than that it's a done deal. But like I said, it's 3:00 AM and I'm done for now. TTYL.

*Gold variant: previously undifferentiated (generically named "Barbarian Girl"), not in a subfolder, appears to have been the one original way back when. It's broken at the link you posted.

Hi all! I'm re-modding my SSE game and decided this time I wanted to include some of the Sexlab mods, especially now that skse is fully supported. I know that some things have been up in the air with skse only coming out of beta in the last few months, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as to what mods I should get first! The only framework mod I could find right away was the 'Lite' version where skse support isn't required. Is that the only version presently or is there a skse supported one yet?

Yes, I do have skse installed, as well as FNIS and I currently use UNP bodies with XPMSSE.  I apologise if this post is redundant or the answer is posted somewhere obvious, I'm new to the forum and thought it would be faster to have my questions solved this way.

Thank you Vyxenne, I look forward to the final product. You sure did do a lot of fixing. I'm actually super impressed you know how to do all that so fast. I think maybe Nexus should interview you next and ask why on earth with the mods you're supporting and the ones you've done, why are you not writing a script for a quest adventure? Or have you done that too? Someone told me you're quite the writer. ;) I'll even help you! I think it'd be fun!

Oh, and after three months and 7 days, I finished modding Skyrim SE! Whoops! Well almost. I need to rebuild my bashed patch, install the mod you're working on and do one final testing run. But I'm so super excitiedI I can now move toward the 5% as I've been modding 95% of the time! At least I did it the right way!
