Your issue seems to be that the included UUNP/CBBE files aren't working or set up properly. To test this theory, pick one of the mods, run the meshes through NifOptimizer, install it to your game and make your own sliderset to see if it works.

After reading dozens of guides and still failing, once I finally succeeded I made a plain-English guide to converting "outfits" (armor and clothing) from whatever to UUNP- if you're converting to CBBE just substitute that as you follow the guide.

Here it is:

  Reveal hidden contents

How to convert any armor to UUNP with physics after you install your mod into the game:

1. Open Bodyslide, then open Outfit Studio (lower-right button)
2. Click New Project (top-left button)
3. Select UUNP-HDT if you want physics, or just UUNP if not, and click Next
4. Name the project for what it will be, e.g. "Scarlet Dawn Armor UUNP-HDT" (this is just the internal

Bodyslide name but it should be at least similar to the outfit name)
5. Hit Browse, then navigate to the high-weight variant of the torso item- example "torso_1.nif" and select it
6. Delete the included body (the one that does not say UUNP in bold green font)
7. Fit the reference body as close as you can to the outfit using the outfit's current, pre-conversion body-

shape ("UNPB" etc.) high-weight slider first, then fine-tune with various body-part ("Breasts" etc.) sliders

if required
8. Click File > Make Conversion Reference and name the conversion reference something descriptive like

"Scarlet Dawn Armor ConvRef"
9. Highlight one or more outfit shape(s) and fit the outfit perfectly to the body using the brushes along the

toolbar at the top of the left pane
10. Once the fit is perfect, click Slider > Conform All
11. Edit the slider (click the eye-shape at the left end of the slider) and fix any slight remaining clipping.

If there's more than a tiny bit left to fix at this point, close OS and start over- it should have been fixed

in Step 9 before hitting Slider > Conform all!
12. Disable slider edit and drag the slider to 100%
13. Click Slider > Set Base Shape
14. Click File > Load Reference and select the same reference body you loaded in Step 3
15. Click Slider > Conform All (yes, again)
16. Toggle editing on applicable sliders one at a time, e.g. UNPB High/Low, UNP High/Low, whatever shape(s)

you actually plan to build into your game
17. Copy Physics bone weights if required (multi-select bone(s) to copy on the Bones tab, then select shape(s)

on the Partitions tab, right-click and hit Copy Selected Bone Weights)
18 Click File > Save Project As and make sure "Copy reference shape into output" is checked only for torso

items
19. Click OK
20. Close Outfit Studio
21. In Bodyslide, right-click the tiny down-arrow in the Outfits filter box at the top right corner and select

"Refresh Outfits" so your new sliderset will become available for use in Bodyslide
22. Select the Body Type (e.g. "Unified UNP-HDT") in the top-left dropdown and the preset shape (e.g. UNPB,

UNP-Pushup, UNPCM, My Custom UUNP Preset, etc.) in the dropdown under that
23. Enter all or part of your new slider/outfit name in the Outfit Filter (e.g. "Scarlet" for Scarlet Dawn

Armor)
24. Click the Batch-Build button in the lower left corner- if multiple slidersets show up, tick or untick as

appropriate
25. Click OK to build the new outfit to your selected body type and shape. Bodyslide will tell you "success"

when it's done

You were right about that hypothesis. After running NifOptimizer the meshes look like

Spoiler

Test.png.012eede3637eb6d8b3c5eea7d8071713.png

I'm trying your guide now, but I'm pretty confident about it. My guess is that the files were UUNP even though the author claimed they're CBBE

Thank you!

Hi all.

I am not sure if this is the right place for this request and if not and it could be in a better place please let me know or if your an admin or moderator please do move it to where it is better.

I have a request for a Mod that i would like to be involved in but mostly that others could also be a part of. let me explain ;)

I have recently added a mod to my Skyrim SE called SMUT books by Buddy Christ who sadly seems to have quit LL in 2017 and never returned.

What i would love to do is actually add to Skyrim a collection of various lore friendly style adult /erotic stories of my own. I just have no idea how to create the mod to make it work, one like this. it would not even need any quest attached or storyline. Just a mod that places lots of erotic/adult porn books that are lore friendly and fit skyrim into its world.

My personal interest is animal sex based stories : dogs, wolves, werewolves, sabrecats, trolls, bears, reiklings. Creatures i come across in my game that could be fun to write or find stories about.

My request is first if someone knows how to make a similar mod to SMUTbooks and then be able to use the stories i gather into random books to be placed all over the Skyrim world.

I would then love to offer and open up the gathering/creating of adult/erotic stories by other interested loverslab people. The potential is huge if numerous members of Loverslab submitted lore friendly stories that can be human-human, other races and also creatures ( animals/monsters)anything that fits skyrim. It can be serious or humourous. short or long. There is an abundance of amazing sex stories out there in the internet that with some careful skyrim work and tweaking could make for some fun books to find. :)

I just have no modding experience so would need a skilled modder/s to make the book mod. I and ideally other members would then submit/present stories to go into them and this mod could then over time update with new stories given.

Is anyone interested at all?

OK, so I have asked for help on the Nexus (2 days ago) and have not received any as of yet. I've had luck with getting help here before, so maybe you all will be helpful again.

I have recently switched from NMM to MO2 because I was getting random CTD and could not figure out why, SSEedit was proving difficult to narrow down my conflicts, so I decided to try MO2. So many people have said its the best program for Modded games, so why not. Well coming from NMM, MO2 proved a nightmare of complexity, but I fought through it and have managed to get about 98% functional. FNIS was a pain, but I got it; Bodyslide was a pain, but I got it. Racemenu SE is my nightmare I cannot resolve! How the hell do you get Racemenu SE to work with all the tabs in MO2? Here's what I have am having issues with, in NMM I got the body hands and feet overlays tab so I could add tattoos and I had the sliders tab for SOS, I dont have any of these tabs available in racemenu through MO2. I have tried manual installation and it still doesnt work.  I dont want to switch back to NMM, but I am about to because I cant play a male character without SOS adjustments, my ladies don't want tiny peen, and they want their ink back!! lol

I have all required mods to make this work (in NMM), I just cannot find whatever special configuration it takes to make it work like FNIS and Bodyslide needed some special finagling to work. Also Im running in the SSE v1.5.39 and all my mods match the version.

PLEASE HELP, a tutorial, some instruction, anything! Im not a pro modder, I get some reference, but things like on Racemenus nexus page about loose base scripts, I dont get that. please speak semi Noob with reply so I get what I need to do to resolve. Much thanks.

Wow wow wow slow down. I literally lost you halfway. I'll try to help you but I need you to better describe the problem for me. (not sure if this is the right thread, maybe you should ask at support but if the moderators are ok with this..)

Alright so you decided to leave NMM and try MO2. You "somehow" managed to get FNIS and bodyslide to work? Is that right?

Then you got stuck at Racemenu? And the MO2 tabs don't work? Some sliders...

Ok. Have you watched these videos? Like all of them? Or some of these? They are pretty useful..

Ok, switched from NMM to MO2 because I had been having issues with performance and CTD. The complexity of MO2 gave me some issues coming from NMM because of how simple it was, but I've managed to overcome a lot of issues such as BodySlide and FNIS needing a patch mod from the overwrite in MO2 in order to function properly. The issue I am having is specifically with the newly released SSE version of Racemenu. When I used it through NMM I had all available functionality, every available tab (i.e) overlays for Body feet hands and the Schlong adjustment sliders tab. Since switching to MO2 Racemenu works for basic stuff, but all of those tabs body feet and hand overlay for tattoos or warpaint and the schlong adjustment slider tabs are now gone. I cannot figure out what the proper procedure for installing the SSE version of Racemenu is for MO2, and get all these overlays and sliders to appear and function properly. I hope that is more clarified of an issue. I'm looking for an updated tutorial specifically centered on SSE racemenu and MO2, no LE or Oldrim conversion stuff, or someone that knows how to do this...Thanks for the response and help if it can be given. And yes I have watched all 5 of the videos and they do not cover Racemenu.

Those videos are for better understanding of MO and MO2 (which is basically the same). I've always thought of MO to be easier than NMM, never forget that your preferences are subjective.

Racemenu, on its own, comes with a few sliders (the warpaints for example) and to my understanding, require the RaceMenu plugin esp to be activated. The sos ones require another esp. The bodymorphs another and so on. You need to have the right esp's active in your game and, obviously, in the right order. If you do have all this and it still don't works maybe your skse isn't installed (correctly or at all). If nothing of the above works, then there is no easy solution for your problem. You will have to start from scratch and possibly rebuild the hole thing.

P.S. I don't think that you will find an updated tutorial (for your racemenu at least) anywhere. And the reason is that most people don't need it and the rest can just check the old tutorials. Oldrim and its modding tools are quite similar to SE and company.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, those videos helped immensely when I started trying to figure out MO2, it was videos like that, that helped me figure out how to get FNIS and Bodyslide to work. Racemenu works in a default type of state, it's just missing the overlay and schlong menus. I have SKSE64 version for 1.5.39 which is what I'm running and all my mods are for that version, skyui, racemenu, sos, sexlab, jcontainers, papyrus, nioveride, CBP, CBBE and Bodyslide, I mean I could go on. The racemenu esp and plugin esp are there and active, same with sos racemenu esp, nioveride, racemenuHH, supposedly everything I need. I'm just wondering of maybe because NMM drops everything into the data folder and MO2 installs each mod in their individual folders if maybe that is causing the disconnect. I do have skse64 installed manually into the game files, and not installed through MO2, should that be installed through MO2 instead or does it make a difference? All the mods dependent on SKSE are working.

I don't think that there is any difference if you have it installed directly into the game data or through MO. Also you don't need nioverride if you use racemenu. Have you checked the load order in both left and right panel to make sure everything is ticked and in the right place? Have run loot?

I was surfing around and I have seen that there were some sexualized creature animations for SE, and was wondering if there had been any animation packs that featured the male player initiating in sexual animations with female creatures, or if there was a mod that introduced both male and female creatures into the game that would compliment such an animation pack.

Remove Nioveride, will do. I tend to manually adjust my right side load order because the sort option in MO2 and LOOT both totally screw up my LO and cause more CTD. I've been trying to sort the left side and paying attention to mods that overwrite and making sure they are in the proper order of overwrite and removing crap that is redundant. I'm not sure the significance of order in left side though, other than mods that dont install esp or esm into the game, but I've been trying to keep the important stuff to the bottom on the left side, like skyui racemenu fnis and such. I may need to go through those vids again specifically for the left side. And yes everything I'm trying to use is ticked on both sides.

Then you are certainly on the right path. There are many guides out there but this one also talks a bit about the orders, I highly suggest it.
Other than that I really don't know. The problem could even be caused by something completely unrelated. If I were stuck in your situation, I think I would clean reinstall everything.

Good luck!

Well,  I figured it out!!!! You are awesome for all the help you gave!! I will definitely follow up with those vids you linked to get a better grip on the left side. I partially took your advice on a reinstall,  but not fresh clean and full.  I removed racemenu from MO2 and then pulled the zip saved in the NMM folder,  the one I knew was working before all this.  Apparently I downloaded either the wrong version from the nexus,  or it just didn't load right.  Installing from the file saved by NMM got me my tattoos back. I also ran LOOT as suggested,  my LO is ugly as hell,  but I did it as a precautionary second step.  Just wanted to let you know it's resolved and wanted to say Thank you for the help J!!

I'm looking for a Standard armor to skimpy armor standalone package with bodyslides similar to Chronotriggers Remodeled Armors for oldrim.

The bodyslide files for remodeled armors do not match the new CBBE body and I don't know when/if they will ever be converted.

I don't want a replacer, because I only want the armors to be available after I personally convert them for certain people.  I have a good selection of skimpy armors now with mods such as TERA armors.   But what I want to do is be able to convert the vanilla armor I collect into a newer skimpier version.   Does anyone know where/if I can find something like this currently?

IF possible...  I am ALSO looking for something like robjunk's version of TERA bodyslides for the new SkyrimSE CBBE bodies.   https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74077

The slides robjunk created added alpha transparencies to many of the tera armors.. sadly it is only for uunp.

If anyone knows if either of these 2 things exist... I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks in advance.

I've been searching for something like that for a while. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anything like that in SE. If I were to make a suggestion for a substitute, it would be the minidresses. But the mod simply replaces-skimpifies the game (only the "clothes" so maybe more immersive?)

The armor complement to Tiwa44's Minidresses is Tiwa44's Spice Gear. Both are also available for UUNP.
