You should really update to v4 unless you have a playthrough in 3.3 that you don't want to lose; not only for the additions/upgrades but also for bugfixes like these.

 

Anyway, that's caused by either those items missing the required edits to work with the new AAs (most gear should be working fine already but since both those items are unique versions of vanilla helmets Bad Dog may have missed them) or by other mod loading after YA and overwritting the required changes (unlikely, but still possible).

Yup, that's how it works. All equippable items replace the base/nude mesh for the body part they cover (armor/clothes replace torso, boots/shoes replace feet, etc.), so while YA includes claws in the naked hands and you will see them whenever you are not wearing anything in the "Hands" slot, as soon as you equip any fingerless gloves or anything like that the hands will revert to the vanilla human meshes and thus will lose the claws.

 

It would be possible to replace the vanilla glove meshes with ones that do have claws, though. In fact, since there is at least one modders resource pack that includes fingerless versions of vanilla gauntlets, we could make all of those gloves fingerless and add claws to them so that claws are always visible and unobstructed. I mean, if I had claws like the YA races do, I wouldn't want to cover them and lose on those natural armaments unless I was going for an ultra-heavy covered-from-toe-to-ear-tip set of armor a la Daedric or something similar.

 

Side note, I think they got that right with the armor designs in ESO: all Khajiit and Argonian gauntlets (light, medium or heavy) are fingerless and the boots don't cover the feet (or at least not the toes anyway), so the claws are visible and useable. Not only it looks cool and makes beast races stand out a bit more from humans/elves, but also makes sense lore-wise, which is neat.

The briarheart problem is a known bug in the vanilla game, where if you get a regular briarheart the quest gets bugged trying to find the specific briarheart it's looking for. (I think. Check the wiki.)

 

For the rest, ya, update. Bugfixes happen only on the latest version.

Reinstall YA, and make sure nothing loads after it except for the YA patches if you use any of them. Start a new game, and see if that fixes it.

First time I post here, and I'm a bit incomfortable, given it's a nsfw website, but I wanted to sincerely thank you for this mod. It probably asked you tremendous hours of work, including all the patches, and I am very grateful to you. As a furry in all but name, it allows me to enjoy the game even more! Have you considered uploading it to the nexus? They have news boobalicious mods trending every 3 days so I don't see why they would have any problems with a few dicks.

Oh, also, that's a minor issue but your replacer for the loincloth clip through armors. As I said, not a major issue, I found a workaround by suppressing the meshes in the folder. Once again, my heartfelt thanks to you for creating this awesome mod!

They certainly "would have problems with a few dicks", believe me. I mean, SOS had to be taken down from the Nexus and uploaded here instead because of the amount of trolling and toxicity that ravaged the mod page and the comments. Hell, I bet that whole fiasco contributed to lead VectorPlexus to his current... predicament regarding SAM and it's addons/permissions. Not only that, but the fact that this is a furry mod wouldn't help at all. There's plenty of users out there that think we're still in the early 2000's and furries are an acceptable target for hate and trolling.

 

Okay, I may be exaggerating a bit, and to be fair from my experience there has been little to no trolling on the page for my race mod (and what little has been was swiftly dealt with by the moderators); but still.

 

I guess we could give it a try, but that would be up to Bad Dog. I'm certainly not against it but I ain't thrilled by the idea either.

Are you using SOS? If you don't have it installed, that would explain the bug. The loincloth uses Slot 52 which is unused in the vanilla game, but at the same time it adds that slot to all body-covering items so that the underwear (or the schlong) are covered when equipping them. If you don't use SOS, vanilla armors don't get the slot and thus the loincloth is not unequipped when wearing torso armor/clothes (and that's why they "clip" through armors, because it's actually not supposed to be visible then).

 

FYI you can use SOS and still keep males SFW if you want that, you only have to open the SOS MCM menu and set the probabilities for all of the schlongs to 0. That way, nobody will get a schlong and will all keep the underwear on, but you will get the required fixes to that slot in vanilla items.

Didn't actually know all that about how SOS works.

 

I'm sorry to hear the loincloth is clipping--I intended it to be tight enough so it wouldn't. The SOS underwear used to clip through armor around the buttocks (probably because I somehow defeated the slot 52 thing) and that's what I was focusing on. What armor clips? I might take a look at fixing it.

 

I've thought about putting it up at Nexus and I'm not worried about trolling. Trolling the trolls is kinda fun, when they're taking themselves seriously. What's actually held me back is that although I communicated with all the base race creators for permission to roll their mods into this one, some of them don't seem to be online anymore and never got back to me. I've changed up the races a lot (e.g. fennec is my head, hands, feet, and textures, so what's left?) but still. One of the creators might come back to me down the road bent out of shape about taking their work. I'm hesitant to flaunt it too openly.

Actually that Slot 52 thing is done on runtime, not with edits to the armor data itself in a plugin. In fact, the "Armors successfully schlongified" message that used to show up on game load (not sure if it still does) was to signal that the script to add the slot to all armors that covered slot 32 (Body) and didn't have the Revealing keyword had run successfully already.

 

So I don't think you could have screwed that thing up. The script does seem to fail on a few items at random from time to time, though, so that could also be the cause of that bug.

No, didn't used the sos version, only the sfw version (I seldom play it in public spaces like train or cars, but when it happens, I like not to expose other to nudity, because that would be really embarassing for me). As I said, it's no big deal, by supressing the loincloth and the malebody meshes, I managed to return to the vanilla body. As for the whole "nexus doesn't tolerate dicks" that's pretty sad but I shouldn't be surprised. Gamers seems to be all for fanservice so long as it only applies to straight male dudes.

There's the Nexus rules and then there's the people on Nexus. Nexus rules are actually not unreasonable, IMO and dicks do show up there. 

 

I'll do some more testing in the sorta-sfw version (there's still the load screens and statues).

Hey, something just came up that might be interesting: Lilmotherious - Lilmothiit of Skyrim was just posted to the Nexus. It implements the Lilmothiit race from the lore with Imperious-like stats and abilities/powers (the author also has Dwemer and Snow Elves done in a similar fashion).

 

It simply reused the Fennec race and added the new stuff to it, though, so assets are not exactly high-quality and only vanilla bodies are supported. Now for my suggestion: @Bad Dog, how about offering your new Fox assets for that mod? I mean the CITRUS-based heads and the new textures. They are a huge improvement from the original Fennec ones and since all of the assets are either yours or free to use (CITRUS), there shouldn't be any problem with that.

 

Only extra work you would need to do would be to edit the textures to fit the human UNP and SOS feet (because I think including the whole digi setup and the footwear edits would be too much), but since that needs to be done for the plantigrade version of the Cellan anyway and you can use the same normals and speculars for both races, only the fox diffuses would need to be edited (and I could even take care of that, though you would probably need to do some cleanup and add details to my work anyway).

 

Fun fact: this was already suggested by someone else on the Reddit thread for the mod in /r/skyrimmods, even mentioning this very mod by name (scroll down to the last two comments).

Now that I think about it, aside from just separate race mods, I would like to see a light version of this with 1/3 or 1/4 of the population being furries. But that would be too much work and require new race plugins instead of race swapping, town, village, and dialog overhauls. Also individual NPC race swapping. TBH, I'm fine just keeping humans and the better looking elves. Maybe combined with an elven overhaul mod.

It would still be possible to change some races only, though.

 

Maybe not Nords because they are everywhere (IIRC they had the highest NPC count of all vanilla races), but something like Altmer, Bosmer or Redguard should be enough to have furries here and there but not nearly as much as the full YA. Would still take some work because the Armor/ArmorAddon changes would have to be reversed for the races left as vanilla and there's a ton of those changes, but it is possible, so there's that.

It would also be possible to give some NPCs special bodies with a T5E script. I think. But why? Some Redguards are furries and some aren't? Makes no sense to me. Would make more sense, I think, to do a Populated Lands-type mod which adds a bunch of bands of furries roaming the wilds. That would be fun, actually--re-introduce all the base races (Lykaios, Vaalsark, Fox, Tiger, even Lungaris and otter) and populate the human world with them.

 

I'll check the female panther specular, that's what the bug would be.

Hi again, and happy new year! Don't know if this has been adressed bedore, but I found it impossible to turn into a vampire. I use sacrosanct and have tried the following things, to no avail:

-Using the latest version of racecompatibility with sacrosanct and uskp.

-Overriding racecompatibility scripts with those from sacrosanct (by extracting it from the BSA file)

 

Is a compatibility patch needed?

I tested vampires a while back and they were working then. I'll look again.

 

I got distracted from working on the Jarls Have Dogs mod to do the Cellan race. I'll get back to them after the otters are done.

Hey, there's a mod called Paintings and Frames which creates a bunch of paintings and puts them on the wall of Breezehome, and there's another mod on here which replaces them all with gay-themed erotic paintings. So I run with that and of course it no longer fits with Furry Skyrim. So I'm replacing all the paintings with furries.

 

If anyone has good furry screenshots, send them my way and I'll include them. Male, female, erotic, not, doesn't matter. Right now I'm running with a sabrelion and a hyena, and I want some more variety.

Do you already knows a few furry artists? I happens to know a few, but you'll have to ask for their permission first, naturally

I'm not looking for other people's furry art, I'm looking for screenshots taken from Yiffy Age. 

 

Origamifan, move the YA ESPs way the fuck down the load order. I don't know what all those mods touch, but it's likely one or more of them are interfering. 

 

For panthers, put the attached file in textures\actors\character\panther - it should give females their specular back.

Didn't worked :frown:. However, I don't think the problem is actually connected to your mod, as a quick look inside the files shows it doesn't edit playervampirequestscript (most likely it has something to do with racecompatibility and sacrosanct) So my apologies for wasting your times. However, if someone already ran into the same problems and managed to fix it, I'd really appreciate to know how they fixed it. Thanks in advance! 

 

As for the screenshots, sorry for the miscomprehension. I rarely takes screenshots, but I had this one from a while ago if it can helps you
