Unfortunately the mod will break that save and you can't load it. It will always go to the other save. 

 

Take this as an experiment. Add a sim to your family, enter cas and then go back to the game. You will find that sim gone from the family. Any changes done prior is also gone.

That is what I found. I can't use the mod until this gets fixed.

 

This is a MAJOR bug that breaks saves.

WW more issues , import settings , but WW keeps resetting so need import my settings all time , it's prob Sims 4 coursing it as it's on meltdown but who knows .

It means WW is trying to do something that can't be done.
If the code were self-contained, it wouldn't do that.

Ok so now it sees something else is going on. So, I just placed back WW. I only did the core files this time, no other extras or animations. I then saved, added a cat to the family in cas, returned to the game, and the new cat was there. I tested again by saving, going to the main menu and starting the save again. Same saving with cat. I then added a townie to the family, saved, went to CAS, returned to the game and the townie was there in the family. I even tried removing the cat to see what version of the save it is. So far everything is now saving.

 

I don't know why it's working now. Maybe an animation or some extra file that was for WW is breaking it. I haven't noticed just how much I missed and needed the debug shift menus that only WW offers. I sort of wish those debug menus were separate mod.

Yes, the patches and DLC breaks the game, but if the mod stood on its own then it would still function to some degree. Even if it didn't run the saved setting, it should still save the settings you input as (if I recall correctly) customizations like that create a .json file.

This is going to be the most basic of advice but, try uninstalling WW and see if that fixes it or if it's an EA bug.

WW works fine for me now.

I don't mean to be rude, but you confused me for a hot minute there.

I'm glad it's working now, but if you never took out the mod we have no proof that EA was 100% at fault.
Yeah, the update broke a lot of thing (a *LOT*) but we also have to realize that they basically did a complete rework of the game along with adding new features.
So many lines of code were added or changed, it's best to wait at least a week before trying to play with anything other than cosmetic changes.

After playing in a household other than the Sim where I purchased the strip club, when I play in the Sim where I purchased the strip club, the dancer item does not show up and the dancers I hired are gone. The manager is showing up. Has anyone else had a similar error?

This was brought up a few pages back but, the law in question was overturned for being too vague.
