I have definitely had some weirdness with saves as well. I've made changes in build mode and made a manual save, but then next time I load in my changes are gone. Sometimes it loads me in several days before the last time I hit the save button. My save times have always been super fast, but I have the game installed on a SSD so that's to be expected. I have very few other mods that use scripts or could interact with the save system at all, so the list of suspects is pretty short.

 

It should be easy to test if it's tied to WW by removing the mod and doing some saving and reloading. I encourage anyone who's experiencing this issue to do so. If things work normally with WW removed, then it can be assumed it is causing the problem somehow, and it's better to leave it out of your mod folder until further notice. EA are rolling out a hotfix soon anyway and there's no telling how many mods will need to be updated for that.

Yeah this seems to be a saved game and other mods issue. As I loaded a previous save and all was fine, so something broke somewhere.

The Supreme Court stuck that down in the Ashcroft decision because it violated the First Amendment since it was deemed too vague and "prohibits speech that records no crime and creates no victims by its production." Then things got even more muddied with the PROTECT act.

Some states have laws against "obscenity" but it's a big gray area. The internet is full of obscenities, yet nothing ever happens. The FBI regularly works with organizations like 4Chan which is known for all sorts of obscene content, yet no one cracks down on them, so there are tons of exceptions and for the most part, unless it's directly related to child pornography, obscenity laws are rarely pursued or enforced because it's so broad.

Anyway, WW doesn't have any child pornography content because there is nothing in WW that touches the "Child" age category as classified in the Sims' own context. "Teens" according to the standard definition, are humans aged 13-19. There is no numerical age associated to teens in the Sims -- it's just Child, Teen, Young Adult, etc. So who's to say all teens in the Sims aren't all 18-19? No one can assign an age to a Sim, no matter how you slice it as it's completely subjective at best.

Because teens looked like adults.  I get that it's now the new moral outrage, but when "teens" look like adults then it's hard to say it's depicting underage.  I cannot even imagine someone trying to go after a sims 4 player for having an adult looking sim having sex with another adult looking sim.  There is no depiction of underage going on there.  I do believe you are talking about teens though because the other ick stuff that I shall not name is not "allowed" at all even EA is supposed to be blocking access to the games for those who use it.   18 and 19 year olds are still teens and honestly teen sims look like they are at least 18.  I honestly hated sims going to school and aged them up when I bothered to use them to bypass it.  I don't have the high school pack and most likely will not get it.  So if you're hating on the clearly not adult looking sims stuff then go ahead.  I just wish TD didn't basically give a roadmap on how to get it via that google doc.  Just didn't make sense to basically advertise that mod.

I can understand that there seems to be no true depiction, I think that it is just implied.. And true there are, was mods far more disturbing than WW, and also true on your last bit about the WW roadmap..

No one can prove otherwise.

Alas, the United states is not the only country on the planet and many other countries still have similar laws on the books. The mere representation of an under 18 naked or involved in sexual activity can land a person in very hot water.

 

And unless you have a few hundred dollars an hour lying around, its best to err on the side of caution. Lawyers ain't cheap.

I've been using WW for a long time and know how to install it. I've never had a problem BUT with July 27th's update, and now this update on the 30th.... Wicked Whims does not show up in game. 

There is no option showing, nothing. It is as if it is just not there. 
 

I had been playing in offline mode via Steam pending mods being updated. Do I need to go back online and update the entire game for WW to show up?

I've having the same problem and i installed the previous version and it worked fine and then i updated basemental drugs and some features weren't working. I don't know if it's my problem but i'm glad someone else has the same issue

What game version do you have? The current WW version isn't retro compatible and will only work with 1.90.358 or more

Yes I am having the same issue.

1. Save the game before going into CAS

2. The same game has a new sim that was not in the family in the previous save.

3. Enter CAS.

4. Leave CAS (doesn't have to accept changes)

5. Back in the game and now my new sim is gone and its back to the previous save. I also cannot load the new save even though the save preview shows the new sim. I tried to remove some files to force the game to load the correct save but it seems its broken in the last save where its impossible to load that version.

The EA support page had someone had the same problem. He said he solved it by uninstalling an adult mod but the mods there removed the reference so I don't know if its WickedWims or not.

I was having this problem yesterday, someone stated nisa's wicked perversions was causing it but i didn't have that installed at the time so someone else on here suggested backing up my tray folder, saves folder, User Setting File, Config file and Options file, Mods Folder and screenshot folder then deleting my sims 4 folder under documents>electronic arts> Sims 4, relaunching the game  so it repopulates them and then moving those backed up folders back to where they were and it fixed it for me.  So i basically just moved those folders/files to my desktop, deleted my sims 4 folder in documents, launched the game, then moved those folders back. I haven't had the problem since. so perhaps try it and see if it fixes for you? it's basically forcing the game to replace the base folders/files without having to redownload the game or lose any of your stuff in case something is corrupt.

I've updated to the latest version of WW and Sims 4, and am currently trying to save my Sims from the aging up bug. ?

All of this is just crazy, I really don't understand this level of incompetence from EA considering the amount of money they make, to have so poorly invested in the number of testers needed for a game this size and with this number of series.

Edit: after updates, WW does show and with the WW Inappropriate Unlock mod, I've been able to add the customizations I wanted involving teens, but there isn't a post-puberty option showing for teens anymore. The first teen I was customizing it showed, but after that, it went away for all others. No idea.

I also updated several animations and Nisa's mod.
