Everybody is hating on Turbo but I think he made a smart decision in the long run. If the Sims HS pack does pivot teens as being underage, any mod that allows users to get them to have explicit sex can be considered child pornography in many countries.  I know it's a gray area with lots of room for interpretation, but at this current socio-political climate, do you really expect politicians and the media to be understanding? 

I can already see the headlines from Kotaku right now: MOD MAKES CHILD PORN USING SIMS 4. Fox, NBC, and other TV shows would probably give it air time followed by some politician tweeting about WickedWhims being a symbol of modern-day degeneracy and promising a thorough investigation. And no sexual fantasy is worth it having your ass doxxed and dragged into court explaining why your mod technically doesn't allow players to simulate sex with minors. And anybody who lived through the GTA: San Andreas "Hot Coffee" mod would know EA/Maxis would also get their asses fried and potentially lead to even stricter policies on mods.

But the funniest thing is, despite all of that, people will still make mods that would unlock WW's previous features. And Turbo knows this, which is probably one of the reasons this decision wasn't that hard to make. He just doesn't want to be part of any potential clusterfuck that might happen.

That is correct, but there wil be trouble with werewolves habilities and perks ... they will be suddenly erased. And ww 170 i only supressed the -18 yo sex capabilities. so, if you dont play like this, you ll be ok

I haven't had the problem since. so perhaps try it and see if it fixes for you? it's basically forcing the game to replace the base folders/files without having to redownload the game or lose any of your stuff in case something is corrupt.

So no it didn't work. I backed up all those files and purged the folder.

Created a new save with 2 sims started with an empty lot.

Added my house.

Entered CAS

Added a Kitten

Got into the game again and now the house is gone as its back to an empty lot and the weird thing is my sims that are married and had full relationship are now down to zero on relationship but are still married.


EDIT: I CAN CONFIRM! Wicked Whims is causing the save bug where if you go into cas at anytime it will revert to the previous save version. I removed the mod and now it works.
Or maybe it just screws up the save. I don't know. When I went back to test without WW. I had to have my sims re-introduce each other which was weird as they are already listed as spouses (plus had the relationship bar reset to zero). Also when I loaded without WW I had a bunch of townies randomly spawn in at load.

Edit2: Now I am not sure. I just had the core files placed back in and nothing else and now saves are working right with CAS. No animation files or extras.

The werewolf ability perks being reset is not due to WW, it's due to ea's patch from what I read.

Teen sex for me still works exaclty the same as it did prior to ww 1.70i, my teens root adults like rabits witout adding any ww traits.

And still not getting any ww exception errors, so yep I can live with 1.70i and play fine for the meantime until EA fixes their crappy pre School update.

 

As I said  and will say again 1.70i is a vast improvement over 1.70h in regards to stability and ww exception error correction, for me anyway.

Good to know! I beleive the townies spawn because youre not supposed to remove wicked whims from an existing save, but if WW is causing/a part of the bug it's definately something I hope gets looked at.

That is simply untrue and is nothing more than yours and the authors misinterpretation of the new pack. IF it were the case that teens now span from 'pre-pubescent' to 'puberty' then teens wouldn't have access to breast sliders or body/facial hair. And most certainly would NOT have access to the new sexual orientation feature which EA themselves have implemented.

At this point it seems clear to me that the author has no clue what pre-pubescent is and probably hasn't even played the new pack. I however have played with the new pack and can categorically say that what I highlighted is nothing more than conjecture.

Nisa's was causing a different problem for me where my sims would just freeze for hours at a time until I switched to a sim on a different lot, and then the game time would reset to when the sims initially froze. I removed it and that stopped, but the save issue remained. I'll have to try this.

1. No one is hating on TurboDriver, they are just hating on the decision that was forced on them, so get that straight.

2. "If" the sims team, "if". You have no clue that the teen sims are underage which means the rest of your highlighted text is largely irrelevant since none of it is based in fact, just what you think based on an assumption. You are allowed to think what you want, but don't force your crap on anyone else here.

3. A grey area allows for all sorts of things to happen irrespective of what politicians and the media want to state on the matter, but what any of that has to do with someone forcing their own moral crusade on everyone else you haven't answered.

4. The rest of what you wrote is a fantasy of yours, but you try assert it like it's the truth.

5. that "clusterfuck" is of TurboDrivers own making, since the mod maker decided this moral crusade is something they should force on everyone else. that's their clusterfuck, not ours.

Post puberty is not the same as 18 which is the age of consent or past the age of consent in most states of the US. But, lets pretend it does. I guess that's why NWP "dolls" are not real slaves and still have free will to give consent, they're just programmed to like their "owner". Otherwise it gets kinda rape-ish.

Seriously, you know that EA must have intended for the mods to work otherwise they wouldn't have added the ability to assign a teen's gender preferences, sexual inquisitive, and seeks woohoo by gender. Then something happened and EA gets all up in arms about it.

It's a quite different story. Hot Coffee Mod re-enable an in game feature who was disabled before intial release. The mod was just using unused game assets. It's why media burned Rockstar ass.

 

EA Sims4 has 0 graphic sexual features. Mods should create all : nude bodies, interactions and animations.

After updating the game, Wickedwhims and Wicked Perversions today literally all doors are gone so it is not possible to enter houses or rooms without removing the wall. I can not even build new doors into the wall. Has anyone the same issue?

So, I tried the workaround last night,  the IU.  I installed it and set everything as suggested.  There is an option to add it to "All Teens," so you don't have to spend all day picking and choosing if you don't want to.  So far so good.  I haven't tried using it in the school, or really anywhere yet, but I do see that once activated, the menus and animations are available.  So if you haven't tried the Inappropriate Unlock yet, this is your sign to do so.    

 

As far as age goes with these teens, they're all going to prom.  Not junior prom, prom.  So I can assume they're 17-18, or older if left back.  Even if they can all pass for early 20's.

 

I really don't like that we are mentioning that in some countries the legal age is 14.  That's squicky af.  I treat this game as a game, but if I saw people in real life talking about real teenagers like this, I would want to fight them.  LOL.  I also acknowledge that even though I didn't have sex until I was 22, I was dating and crushing on adults when I was a teenager.  But I would never date a teen and if I saw a teen dating an adult, I would be very concerned for them in real life.  I fully acknowledge that I was a risk taker as a teen and things could have gone really, really bad for me.  LOL.

 

As for this whole talk comparing this mod to CP, I don't think that would be the proper comparison.  If we ignore the fact that the Supreme Court struck it down, and think about this hypothetically, this mod would be more in the same category as PirateBay or uTorrent.  WickedWhims didn't make the content, they just unlocked access to create the content.  If anyone ever wanted to come down hard on anybody, they would have to come down on whoever is posting teen sim videos to the Hub and the Hub for hosting it.  In which case, they would also have to take down any sort of schoolgirl hentai also.
