you could try but i dont reccomend it, i saved it the other day before i realised my households were missing and it corrupted my save there was nothing i could do to fix it, if you have a save from today maybe close down the game and remove the mod and cache files and load it up again and play for a few minuets, if your households are missing i would not save at all, if they are there then maybe save as a new save remove mod then try loading it and see what happens, if none of that works for you at least you will be able to recover a save providing you have removed the mod first.

In case this helps anyone, my workaround for now is to change the settings as desired, and export them through WW's settings control. Then import those settings through the same menu when the reset happens. Annoying, but better than letting it roll with the defaults, at least for me.

 

Edit: This is on a completely new save made after the July 26th patch, by the way. So I don't think there's any old mod data that could be interfering.

I'm having the same issue. I can confirm it is Wicked Whims. At very least, appears to be version 170h causing the households to get deleted and glitch out the sim pictures, making gameplay impossible. I went through all of my mods to discover this.

About time, even that isn't quick enough considering most my saves have been screwed by the age bug before I realized the bug existed...doh

Most the other bugs I can live with but that age bug is a game wrecker if you got caught off gaurd after last update.

I've found that making a copy of the save you want to play and leaving the original one alone is the way to go if you are going to play. Play only on the duplicate save because I'm sure the original will be safe once EA fixes the game yet again.

 

My errors are constant and I get the 'WW settings reset whenever you go to manage households, whether you save or not or leave the household for any reason' error. I cannot even shortcut 'modify in CAS' quickly without them resetting.

 

If you do 'import save info' with WW and quit and restart, it's better to not delete localthumb and online folders. Seems like it undoes the fact that you changed the settings. I've been testing this broken game for years and it's crazy the stuff I've had to go through to fix it. Both on console and PC.

 

It's nothing to do with WW though. It's ALL EA this time.

 

I even started a brand new game and the vampire that I had saved and imported from the affected save I was playing on was powerless and had NO points, despite being a Grand Master.

 

I went into CAS, imported an older version of her and set things as they needed to be. Went back in game, and her powers were completely back, no issues.

 

So this update screwed with ALL Occult as well. I recommend importing OLDER Occult Sims from your library if you want to use them because ANY that were in your save while the update was done will be broken AF. Any that you SAVED from that screwy save will be tainted, so use an earlier version from your library.

 

 

Thank God that WW was updated to at least let us play somewhat...going back to vanilla Sims is completely out of the question now! LMAO

I am having problems with wickedwhims and the last extensions said something about body hair and pubic hair. Every few minutes, I get an orange notification window telling me that an error has occurred and I don't know what to do. The only way to stop it is to disable the automatic pubic hair growth option. I deleted all pubic hair mods and body hair mods, but the problem persist.

I had the same issue with the  orange info-box, but it said that public s*x isn't avaible at the moment. After that, Sims crashed and later everything was deleted. 

I checked today, but most of my households and my created houses are deleted.

An experienced user should have a good habit of never updating the game right after a patch is released and reading the following feedback and news first.

I sit quietly with 1.89 and wait for EA fixes.

Wenn ich meine Sims im CAS bearbeite, oder einen anderen Spielstand spiele, dann sind alle Einstellungen, die ich bei Wicked vorgenommen habe weg, einschließlich der letzte Spielstand. Bedeutet: wenn ich meinen Spielstand nicht gespeichert habe, geht der Fortschritt bis zur Bearbeitung im CAS verloren durch den Wicked. Hab ihn rausgenommen und das Problem war weg. Sehr ärgerlich

I'm not experienced, but I didn't update my game until all mods I use were updated first (wich isn't many mods I use).

Basically WW, Cas Unlocks, SimpleGens (modded for werewolves), LUUMIA_BodyHairV5PLUS and a dozen or so animation packs is all I use.

 

So once WW realeased 1.70h I backed up my TS4 game old directory and then updated the game, WW and CAS Unlocks.

Sure I can roll back game/ww version, but my bigest mistake was I didn't back up my few piddly game saves ( well I had backups just no as current as it could have been).

 

So I load my current save and started playing, everthing loaded fine.

I got 2 WW errors over time for querying gender prefs for peeping tom and solo autonomy.

Turned off Window Peeping in WW settings, disabled Solo Autonomy in ww, no more ww errors showed since.

 Played for a few hours and habbitually saved by accident.

Then I loaded that save and everything was working fine at that point.

But as I added a new member to my house and visted CAS to customize them.

All seemed fine and I saved and exited game.

Loaded a different save game and all went pretty much the same so I thought all is fine and saved.

Loaded another different save and all seemed fine again, saved...

 

Next day I start play my most current save and happy birthdays bloody everywhere.

Old age deaths for a majority of the the non controlled not yet greeted sims in the game world, WTF...

Go read and find "Hey you screwed your saves" never mind just play with the setting of "Normal" for now to resolve aging...

EA well and truelly go and gtfoh

 

In my newest save I just started I have aging turned off globally and pretty much everything I use in the game works fairly well for the most part.

Even my werewolves use SimpleGens flaccid XL as default soft penis when naked and not in sex. (hard XL in sex)

Also sex works, what more could anyone else want from sims

Excluding teens from sexual activities sounds very stupid to me. Bad change.How about instead completly removing them from sex activities just ban them from having sex with Adults?

Jap bei mir auch. Ich baue halt immer Szenen in Räumen für meine Bilder. Bei mir zuletzt als Beispiel ein Fitness Studio, war danach im erstelle einen Sim um ihm hanteln in die Hände zu geben, komm zurück und alles war zurück gesetzt was ich gebaut hab. Auch meine Wicked Einstellungen sind alle zurück gesetzt wieder. Weil ich zb immer das Schwitzen ausstelle und meine Animationen nach Duration sortiere. Sehr ärgerlich ☹Ich habe jetzt nochmal die localthumbcache gelöscht, mal sehen später ob es was gebracht hat . Kann mir aber auch vorstellen das es am MCCC liegt, weil ich das schon wo anders vorhin gelesen habe. Man wird sich echt durch testen müssen an was es liegt,uff. Obwohl MCCC Ja auch ein Update hatte ?.

so wicked whims has an update this morning and now teen sexual interactions have been removed entirely from the mod. I respect the decision but at the same time my legacy save is now screwed because my married couple can't interact with each other that way because the husband is a few days older, and i can't age my sim up because of the stupid aging bugs. guess i'm going to have to figure out what mod will re-allow it now so i don't have to entirely trash my save game. Personally, I thought that the highschool years update made it even more clear the teenagers in game are older teens so I'm not sure i agree with removing the function, but I respect it.

When it gets updated, the Inappropriate Unlock will be needed by everybody now, it seems.  It's here on LL, pretty easy to find under the Wicked Whims category.

My lesbian couple with DD's are "pre-pubescant," apparently...

Was  going to update my game today considering I have a 4 weekend and I figured I'd check the forums to see the game is safe to update. Guess not lol.

 

I can see why the WW owner would want to avoid any potential legal issue that might come with having minors having sex lol. I'll just wait for the person to mod Teen/YA sex back into the game.
