The new preference settings are a welcome addition. Clearly, EA understands their player customer base. I think the changes with the update will give a lot of opportunity for interesting mods for those who are skilled at modding.

You can shut off the window peeper in the WW command window which fixes the problem of peeper spawn for now.

 Bonjour ? cala vous intéresserait peut-être de savoir Que les LE e sont pas du faite  de Wicked Whims 170h,je m'explique je viens de passer quelques heure à vérifier pourquoi des (hors mis Nisa Wicked Perversion qui est cassé et c'est certain), donc j'ai enlevé tout mes mods et CC, j'ai lancé le jeu pas de soucis puis j'ai remis Wicked Whims 170h +Mcc dernière version McCmdCenter_AllModules_2022_4_1 résultat aucuns soucis, ensuite j'ai remis les animations sexuelles et wild_guy_Female_Body_Details_LL_08.04.22 ainsi que Wild_guy_Shameless_Underwear_L_L_15.02.21 là encore pas de problème donc je vous conseil de faire pareil ,je finirais bien par trouver ce qui me pose problème c'est long mais ça vaut le coup !

Hey i just updated WW and unfortunately it doesnt work  When i try to load my save it wont open the save i only get an Error Code (109:fd81e803:191766e3). When I delete the mod from the Mod Folder everything works fine   Can someone help me or does have the same problem?

Yes I am having this issue currently. I did the remove one mod at a time method and updated all my mods that had updates. It turns out that the Wicked Whims mod update is the culprit.

greeting 1st of all thank you for the quick update.
However, I seem to have the same problem with both the LL and Patoreon versions right now.



here is my character's occult ability and desire points
then run WhickedWhims, save and load



All occult abilities disappear and desire points are reduced to 0.
Of course I didn't do anything else, just did sex it up, saved it and load?.

Are you using the latest WW version with the latest game version?

Are you running a game with only WW or have you got other mods? If you have got other mods, have you updated those that needed to be updated, after the latest game patch (chances are lots of them are broken, even CCs)?

Is this happening just with a save or with all of them, even new ones?

 

You could try removing your mods folder, deleting the localthumbcache package, doing a game repair, loading the game with no mods and then adding back only WW + its animations to see if the game loads your saves or not.

You could also delete the wickedwhimsmod folder inside your saves folder.

Don't save your game when doing all of this.

 

If the game loads, try adding back the other mods and check again.

If it doesn't work, then you possibly have something interacting with WW.

If the game doesn't load any of your saves, with only WW as a mod, then the culprit is WW and you'll need to wait for a fix.

little bit of oddness, using latest version, have been playing with it all day with no issue then all of the sudden mid-conversation with a sim all my wicked whims settings reset to default out of nowhere, I only noticed because i had teen-adult relationships turned on (my sim is married to a sim a few days older than her who hit adulthood first) and suddenly they couldn't 'make a move' which seemed odd, so i checked the settings and they'd been reset to default. nothing had been changed or clicked on and i'd been able to use the setting less than 5 minutes prior without issue, the game hadn't been closed or anything, one minute i had my settings, the next i didn't. I reloaded my settings and i'm hoping it was a fluke but i have a terrible feeling it wasn't. I'll notate if it happens again.

I don't get why y'all straights are so mad about this update? You realize that this is the 1rst time in The Sims history that you'll be able to create straight sims because ALL sims have been bisexual since TS1? You should be happy instead, since you seem to dislike all that "woke" stuff

No they are not bisexual by default, but they can be changed.

 

Unless you mean the Vanilla game without any Mods installed.

I have the problem that saved games and households are being deleted. I know the problem has been hotly debated here for the last few days, but which mod do I have to delete to get it under control?

Wasted 2 hours creating a household only to have the whole project go to waste.

I have an issue with WW, Ive tried to go through all the animations and such to find any corrupt file but no success. Has anyone else gotten a similar error?

nisas wicked perversions, delete that then local thumbcache file then you absolutely MUST recover a save from BEFORE the update, eg: 26th or earlier

I'm having the same issue as a couple of other users - WW settings reverting to default randomly. Deleting localthumbcache and repairing the game doesn't seem to make a difference, neither does changing my mod loadout. Either EA seriously broke something with the game's memory in this update, or there is something in the WW framework that needs revising. Possibly both.

 

In case this helps anyone, my workaround for now is to change the settings as desired, and export them through WW's settings control. Then import those settings through the same menu when the reset happens. Annoying, but better than letting it roll with the defaults, at least for me.

 

Edit: This is on a completely new save made after the July 26th patch, by the way. So I don't think there's any old mod data that could be interfering.

you could try but i dont reccomend it, i saved it the other day before i realised my households were missing and it corrupted my save there was nothing i could do to fix it, if you have a save from today maybe close down the game and remove the mod and cache files and load it up again and play for a few minuets, if your households are missing i would not save at all, if they are there then maybe save as a new save remove mod then try loading it and see what happens, if none of that works for you at least you will be able to recover a save providing you have removed the mod first.

I'm having the same issue. I can confirm it is Wicked Whims. At very least, appears to be version 170h causing the households to get deleted and glitch out the sim pictures, making gameplay impossible. I went through all of my mods to discover this.

About time, even that isn't quick enough considering most my saves have been screwed by the age bug before I realized the bug existed...doh

Most the other bugs I can live with but that age bug is a game wrecker if you got caught off gaurd after last update.

I've found that making a copy of the save you want to play and leaving the original one alone is the way to go if you are going to play. Play only on the duplicate save because I'm sure the original will be safe once EA fixes the game yet again.

 

My errors are constant and I get the 'WW settings reset whenever you go to manage households, whether you save or not or leave the household for any reason' error. I cannot even shortcut 'modify in CAS' quickly without them resetting.

 

If you do 'import save info' with WW and quit and restart, it's better to not delete localthumb and online folders. Seems like it undoes the fact that you changed the settings. I've been testing this broken game for years and it's crazy the stuff I've had to go through to fix it. Both on console and PC.

 

It's nothing to do with WW though. It's ALL EA this time.

 

I even started a brand new game and the vampire that I had saved and imported from the affected save I was playing on was powerless and had NO points, despite being a Grand Master.

 

I went into CAS, imported an older version of her and set things as they needed to be. Went back in game, and her powers were completely back, no issues.

 

So this update screwed with ALL Occult as well. I recommend importing OLDER Occult Sims from your library if you want to use them because ANY that were in your save while the update was done will be broken AF. Any that you SAVED from that screwy save will be tainted, so use an earlier version from your library.

 

 

Thank God that WW was updated to at least let us play somewhat...going back to vanilla Sims is completely out of the question now! LMAO
