WickedWhims v170h updated yesterday, but when I try to have sex, something breaks. Recorded a short video of what is happening. Sims disappear and appear. They have some functions related to their body in the lower left corner. An error warning pops up at the top of the screen.
I removed all the mods that are in the game, leaving only one mod WickedWhims v170h and WickedWhims v170g and both of them give the same error.

 

Someone with similar already faced? Is there a solution to the problem?

 

I'll attach the logs here. Sometimes someone understands something in them.

Whenever I try to initiate wicked whims, they just reset for some reason. Has it happened to anyone else?

Yeah I forgot to mention no animation showed up, they were both gone and I got my notification wall filled up with error messages. The only thing that saved me was the ww.fix command. It's been a rough day ☹️

i have the same problem  i cant play sims with mods now. some error code 109:.... if I take mods away so it works  but I dont wamma do that

You quoted somebody who posted on June 2016...

 

If you are running a dinosaur version of the game, WW isn't the only mod which will give you problems.

The current version of WW (170h) works only with game version 1.90.

If you updated both and you are still having problems, you should also check all your other mods, because the latest game patch broke lots of them.

NWP hasn't been updated yet.

BMD has been updated.

SFW mods can be checked here.

 

General advice for all the people complaining/reporting errors:

Never update on game patch day (it is possible to turn auto-update off), unless you are prepared to play without mods.

Always keep your mods updated, which doesn't simply mean redownloading mods but also checking that the mods' authors actually updated them.

From what I understand, this game patch also broke the game, so there will probably be a fix in the near future, which means some mods will need to be updated again soon.

I play the official version of SIMS 4 from EA
However, yesterday a WW update came out and I downloaded it, but it doesn't work. Sims near the facility where you told them to have sex disappear and glitch...
Deleted everything from the Mods folder, leaving only WickedWhims version v170h - 27 July 2022

I'd hazard a guess and say it's S4CL causing this....update or delete it.

I take it BMD and MCCC are up to date?

Yeah. WW seems to be the culprit (I think)

 

Also probably not related but once I removed that, I'm having a problem where I can't get sims to interact with each other. Like, to chat or whatever. They might walk over (maybe) but then aborts the action before doing it. All I've been able to figure so far is that it's a script mod (because I disable script mods but not mods in general), and I've tried deleting my most recently downloaded mods none of which seem to be the problem.

 

I'm debating whether to individually try each script mod I have, or just wait for a bunch of mods to be updated, possible EA patch/bugfixes, and hope it solves itself.

 

If anyone has the same problem and figured it out tho, pls let me know.

Seems to me that a lot of the sex problems that the latest update from EA is causing are sex orientation related. The whole woke preferences thing that they are pushing on everyone is screwing  the game up. Read on Turbodrivers site that he will be reworking  WW to mesh with the new EA system, which I imagine is going to take a while. I got an orange error in my game when a window peeper tried to look in and the game did a sex orientation check.

Maybe WW will need to be updated again or maybe some other broken mod is interacting with WW.

Most all script Mods were broken so start looking for updates.

Basemental = done

MCCC = done

NPCC = broken

Nisa's WP = not done

Check out the EA thread for broken mods/status and update links.

They have admitted that they screwed up how sims are running and most likely introduced more bugs than what they are letting on about. Would not surprise me if I started to play one of my sims and they turn out to be a gay lamp post in Forgotten Hollow.

that was my issue, delete all cache and thumbnails remove nisas mod, repair game then load up and recover an earlier save, dont try to load the one with empty lots thats gone now and corrupted, ideally pick a day before the update.

Yep I've already posted that exact same exception in Technical Support - Wicked Whims.

I also have had the same Exception with gender prefs query by WW Autonomy generating solo sex

I doubt an updated WW will be available at least until after next official game hotfix/patch update for major bug with ageing along with other game glitches introduced with current game patch (hope I'm wrong).

Be waste of TURBODRIVERS efforts trying to release an update when the next official game hotfix/patch will probably break more WW things again.

 

To think I had never haed a WW exception ever since started playing TS4 with WW 1.69b and have updated every WW realease since uptil now.

Currently this is the worst official game patch for me as I really dislike the concept of the new DLC and not really fond of the GUI updates either.

But that's just personal taste, each their own.
