Hello. I need help with the Nina Whicked Perversions mod. I read somewhere that you can build a dedicated room with the interaction "everyone but prostitution". I can't find this guy on the doors. What should I do? Second question: When choosing packages to accept, they are not taken into account. If I want the sim to do only masturbation for example it does the rest anyway. A solution to these problems?

We are getting a game update soon (no idea if the date has been released yet but it will be before the new expansion gets out on November 13), so you better turn off auto update, if you haven't already, or be prepared to play without mods, because some of them will need to be updated by their creators.

Please help me, my mods have been broken since summer or spring ?

I have updated my game to the version 1.67.45 and I have downloaded and installed the Wicked Whims mod v161a which should be compatible with the game version 1.67.45. 
However everytime I start the game I get the "Unsupported WW Version" -message.

"Detected version: v161a. Supported public version: v153a. Supported Patreon version: v153.1."

How is this even possible?? Also I get a shit ton of lastExeption notes, I will add few of them here. I'm desperate ?

Start by also updating Wicked Perversions since it depends on correct version ow WW.

Then delete your localthumbcache.package in your TS4 folder.

 

You should probably also look in your saves and delete the Wicked Pervs folder as you will likely have to do it later anyway.

 

Any other script mods you have will also have to be updated because the last couple of game patches broke almost everything.

That message you are getting is caused by Kinky Whims (now known as Devious Desires). I think you are running a very old version of that mod and you should update that (go to the mod's page and read carefully what you need for the mod to work, because it was remade) or remove it. You are also running a very old version of nisa whicked perversions and you should update or remove that mod too. These two mods usually need to be updated whenever WW is updated. Remember to delete the localthumbcache.package before reloading the game.

 

Edit: Ops, I just saw Scorpio already answered your post, so yeah do what he said and update DD.

Saw KW mentioned in the error but it went right over my head.

 

I'd just remove Kinky Whims for now until she can get everything else working again first.

 

Updating the game from that far back there might be some bigger fish to fry

Patches are usually on Tuesdays (sometimes Thursdays), so if nothing pops up in a day or so, assume Tuesday the 10th.

 

There is definitely going to be mod-breaking changes with the new base game gameplay. So you know what to do if you want to keep lewding your sims.

 

Turn off auto-updates. This should always be set.

 

When the patch alert sounds, take Origin offline. You'll lose gallery access, but you'll still be able to play and acquire lots and sims by other means.

 

Follow the official forum patch broken mod thread and join the various modder discords. They'll tell what's broke, what's fixed, what's dead, and what's fine.

Is there an exception file ? Are all your other mods, especially the one's ending with  "_Scripts.ts4script"  up-to-date ?  Is your game version still compatible with your version of WW ?

What did you add or chance  to the game since it worked correctly.

I think you can go back online after the game is loaded. At least I seem to remember it was possible, but yeah I have auto-update always off and I am usually offline on origin too (I am not really interested in what the gallery offers:-P).

I wouldn't even chance it unless you know all your mods have been updated. It's strictly offline all the time for me until the game updates and patches settle in.

The game won't update if it is running and you are playing it. When I say about going back online after the game has been loaded, I mean opening up the gallery in game and going back online.

For the first time, I plan on buying an expansion on release, so I will take out the mods anyway and before updating the game, I will load the game offline and go back online in game and see what the game does and if it tries to update after it has already fully loaded. 

 

Theories can only be verified experimenting! ?

I know that the developer mentioned about two years ago that it's on the to-do list.

I understand that the to-do list is probably long with a higher priority for other features.

if you start the game off line you can get into the gallery at the start menu once you start a game it will make you close the game and go online

In the pic I posted above I was in game offline and I went online from the gallery without having to close the game.

It's your preference really. Personally, I won't touch online until everything has settled unless I just plan on playing without mods for awhile.

 

But I really think that for the benefit of a lot of the people that start new accounts on this site to post problems because an update borked their game, I honestly believe that the best advice is to put the game offline and wait for mods to settle before updating.

 

You've been here for awhile so you can vouch for that yourself. I'm sure you've also seen an influx of brand new LL accounts post here about how an update has broken their mods and a lot of the frequent posters giving out the same help over and over again when an update drops.

 

I'm not trying to be argumentative or anything of the sort. I'm just suggesting that the best piece of advice for newcomers is to stay offline. Of course, most of those people won't see that advice because they sign up here to ask for help after they've broken their mods.

Oh I am not saying to update the game and I am always off-line and have auto update off.

 

I am saying you can go back online without updating the game, but you are right, one shouldn't do that if one is not very used to updating and mods.
