I know this one, there is nothing wrong with WW.  

I suspect a mod with a script. like UI Cheats Extension.

Check if your MOD's need updatet.

Hi guys i don't know if this is the rite place to ask but i have a club in my game where there is stripper poles everywhere, my sim can go up on it and perform but there is no other npc sims dancing on the empty poles, is their a way to fix this and make the strip club less boring lol, thank you

maybe I'm the only one who is experiencing this issue but once I updated my game and got the latest WW, I noticed a shit tone of last exception. the mod still works but every time I get done using the mod then I get a last exception. Even sometimes when the animations switch.

in WW setting under sex settings autonomy there is a setting for npc sex control turn that on and you have to manually send npc to poles unless they are employee then you click them and assign them pole duty

update basemenal drugs and nisa wihed perversions and any other mod you have if it has a script file it broke with the update

So, as everyone requested before, I ran the game with no mods other than WW and 1 animation.  Deleted the thumbnail cache.  Running the EA Play version 1.67.45.1020, WW v158g.  With that, running a new game, the WW notification that should say what version it is and whatnot is just an Orange box that says WickedWhims.  If i click on WW radial and go to settings, half of them are blank, as in no words.  I can click on the blank settings and there are check boxes in there with no words as to what those options are.  If i click on an item, like a bed and chose to start a WW animation, it goes as if normal, but the conversation of "Ask for Sex" never happens, nor do they just pop over, it's completely ignored.

 

Do I have to pirate an old version of the game like you guys to get this to work?  This mod has not worked in a about a month (158b was the last one that worked for me).

Just asking the most obvious question, but are you sure you aren't using UI Cheats or More Columns (if that mod is even still working)? I know you said you deleted all the mods, but are you certain because that sounds like a UI issue.

I didn't use those before, nothing else was installed for that test of WW.  I used to use MCC a while ago, but it always threw and exception for missing something so I got rid of it, but that was an old computer, old install.  This install is about 6 months old, nothing from my old shit came over, no saves or mods.  Removing WW and adding back all the shit I had (minus things like Nisa, WP, and Basemental) game works fine.  I mean, it works fine with WW, just WW doesn't work for me.

What is the difference between WickedWhims and WonderfulWhims? which one do I have to download? are they still going to keep WickedWhims Updated?

Wonderful whims is the non sex version of WW......You can have one or the other,not both....both will recieve updates as required....If you want graphic sex in your game then use ww...if you don't then get wonderful whims...

What if you remove the The Sims 4 folder from your Documents/EA folder, load the game so that a new The Sims 4 folder will be gerenated, then you add back only WW and see if it works? If it works, you could add the other mods back and check if everything is still alright and finally you could copy from the old The Sims 4 folder, the saves and the tray folders into the new The Sims 4 folder.

That is basically what I did.  When I install a game and plan to mod it, I copy the folders that are to be changed and zip them (in TS4 I zipped the Documents/EA. The Sims 4 folder).  When I unmodded sims, I zipped the TS4 folder and replaced it, so it would be like a fresh install.  The only stuff I didn't change was the install folder (E:/TS4/The Sims 4, where the exe is located).

 

It's not a game killer for me to not have WW.  I maybe fire up TS4 once every couple months.  It just bothers me that this mod that has worked 95% of the time (there's been a few bad updates that quickly got fixed) the last like 5 years now does not work for me at all.

Am I the only one who's Strip Club's clients are 90% StarWars characters? I wouldn't mind if I could actually interact with them, but I can only ask them to leave!

It would be interesting to understand why the mod is not working though. There must be an explanation hidden somewhere.?

Found it.  It was WW, in a way.  I redownloaded in a bid to start completely over.  I was going to fully remove the game and reinstall as I thought maybe a corrupt game update was giving me issues.  When I redownloaded WW I went to where my files download to delete the old WW and noticed the difference in file size between the 158g I had and the 158g I just got (one was 45.3Kb, the other 45.6Kb).  Installed the new one (bigger one), no problems.  Reinstalled all my previous mods and saves, no problems. 

 

Somehow, I got an incomplete file that was still able to decompress and looked normal.

to update what?
there is no new Version of WW and the Patch for TS4 was never an issue with WW

the only thing you need to do, is to update your CC skin tones (most likely)

And how do we know where are those CC skin tones, if we haven't downloaded them explicitly? I mean, I haven't searched or downloaded skin tones, but maybe I downloaded animations or something that has them, because it was required or whatever...

 

edit.: I renamed every file extension in "Mod" folder to .off and .offscript (to differentiate .package and .ts4script) and game keeps disabling mods. And everything works fine with "Tray" folder.

Animations do not require CC skin tones. I don't understand why you changed the files extension...

To solve the disabling mods issue, delete the files "Options" and "Config" in the "The Sims 4 folder". Once you load the game you will need to set up the game settings again (windowed screen, mods, etc), but otherwise you should be good to go.

first of all, if you downloaded other stuff, it's your thing, not WWs - so you need to update everything you downloaded... how should WW know, what skin tones you have and why should WW update them?

if you download a lot of stuff and you lose track of it, that's, again, your problem
I have 3,5GB (which is not even much) in CCs and Mods and I know where to finf what kind of CC and if I have to update them and where to find
