The damn ferris wheel probably won't work like it should (FNV), any theme park machines like pinball or video games won't be playable (FNV too), the astronomy theatre in the Planetarium is most likely a cheap slideshow attempt (FO3), etc.... Guess the only thing to do is kill things and scrounge...erm...more pipe guns and small appliances for screws, maybe? Ooo, wait....there might be a well-written story or plot in there somewhere?..... Nah...

You've forgotten a few roles, viz expansive farmer, political hitman, village idiot, junk dealer, drug lady and thus guilty for actually everything in the Commonwealth they don't have a law for anymore. But hey, who cares? Lets not forget Park attendant.

Rather the same people always hijacking anything FO4 related. I've found myself visiting /fog/ more and more because this board has become basically a containment board / echo chamber.

I still feel ripped off buying it for $30. Then again FO4 isn't exactly that great unless you're a COD fanboy. But the description of Nuka World where you get raiders and attack settlements sounds interesting but I remember Workshop and how they promised hunting, trapping, and taming wasteland creatures to fight in arenas entertaining people.....yeah that didn't happen.

I shoot raiders on sight every time BLAM they get nuked, turned into swiss cheese, blasted into tiny pieces with shotguns, tricked into fighting other enemies, kill with mod weapons like anti tank rifles and super machine guns not to mention I let ada go assaultron on them with the gattling laser and her face laser. A whole DLC just more raiders wow whoopdy doo!!!!! They could have at least done mothership zeta tied it into cabot house quest and some kind of teleporter device sends you to the mothership.

Its a raider town now, someone else said it was Gunners? And I got more the impression it was Institute or those guys running New Vegas.

You join them for free PA and a few missions then use them for the nuclear option and don't go back unless you want to see them slaughter other factions you joined:-(

A whole DLC just more raiders wow whoopdy doo!!!!! In the cut content still in the game files, it seems devs planned 'The Combat Zone' to be a sort elysium, where raiders are not hostile. I think this was a great idea, sadly, not implemented in the final game. I also give raiders hell on sight, but It may be quite funny to interact with 'em. This raider town DLC has potential to be something very good.

Sound like you would be able to take over settlements all over commonwealth not only in the DLC. Would be kind neat if instead of "WE NEED HELP GO THERE AND KILL THIS AND THAT " you could just show up kill all settlers and take over settlement for yourself and your gang, or threaten them to join/hand over all the supplies etc.

I've noticed someone keeps repeating "buzzwords" and "echo chamber" if that helps any. Raiders as new faction to join ? If then sign me in. A joinable raider faction? So I'm guessing there's going to be grizzled old BOS paladin-turned-carnival-baker forced to resort to slave labor in order to keep all the sideshows running. Probably a kidnapped baby in there somewhere as well. Can never have too many abducted babies. Am I the only one struck by how utterly pathetic these new releases are? Sadly, it's about what I expected when they started using high pressure tactics to get people to pre-order. If you don't like it don't buy it.................. Or maybe leave it a while and wait for the all-in-one bundle to crop up on Steam Sale.

The guys might want to give chronic complaints about Fallout4 a go on the Nexus. They ain't afraid to walk the plank, huh? Besides, when a British youngling founded a Morrowind fan board that much later should be called the Nexus, the today worshippers of the complaints most likely weren't even old enough to write their names - that on the 'new level of fan base'. Don't get me wrong, complaints are legit, but only as long as they don't become a less constructive, almost religious mantra, the only real gospel of the third kind... a pain in the ass.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Wow.. definitely not stoked about the revamped Skyrim.. but that's probably only because I've been able to play it in amazing quality already thanks to all of the awesome modders out there. Not really sure how I feel about the new Fallout DLCs coming out. It looks to me like Bethesda has, for the most part, been using the modding community to come up with ideas for new DLC (construct your own vault?... Really guys, lol?). That Nuka-Cola World DLC looked promising though.

It may not be pretty but it is a necessity at this point and i dont see a problem with it. TES only on last gen would make it unlikely to get new fans or even keep old ones. i dont see why anyone on PC would actually care about that its FREE.... and good for the overall health of TES. on the point i CANNOT wait till i get to raid pillage and kill my way through Prestons Pleb Legion and end it all for good. One last thing to mark on my map is gonna be the resting place of preston. Edit: I now know what happens if you click a submit 2 times fast....it duplicates a post in a post...

Contraptions I'm meh on but suspect some modders will use it to make awesome stuff and it's basically a "tool" DLC I can live with. On the remastered Skyrim. I only have one thing to say: 64 bit. That alone is reason enough for me to get it. Don't get me wrong, I already use the 64 bit loader but having it built into the game from the start should make it a bit more stable I'm thinking. Also, I'm getting it for free, so win-win. I can use they stuff they build into it (volumetric lighting, etc) and put in my ENBs and such and make it even better. Also, this will make the mod organizer guy finish the 64 bit version even faster I'm guessing as he knows lots of Skyrim players will be wanting to run their mods in the new revamped version.

(somehow, I see myself converting some over to the new version, but not being able to upload. ala abandoned mods) For nuka world, as I posted, I really think the amusement park is going to be one of the best things added. Just sooooo many things we can do with that concept. the workshop DLC... have to see whats in it. I still want to make a brothel mod. (got lots to learn before I even try though... but I ** will ** learn it. I want that mod!)\
