Paradise Halls Enhanced (pahe) repacked with the customary addons

I only used the CK outside of MO once to fix the dark grey face bug on old Conjure Sexy Female Dremora. I also moved the MO folder to Skyrim steam folder from desktop otherwise the Merge Plugins mod wouldn't work. Installed SKSE in Skyrim default folder. Thats about it. I'm sorry if this doesn't help or wasting your time. lol 

 

Do you mind if I ask for full install of 7.1.4 so I can test before I reinstall Skyrim? 

 

that would indeed bring back the double dialog issue you were reporting earlier tho ...unless you swear on oath to never use the reset or reboot from the mcm

Idk where to post this, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I'm having issues with the mod. Whenever i do any of the sex commands, the animations don't play. The actors (pc and npc) will line up for what seems to be the animations, but as soon as sounds play they just stand there. Not the default T-pose tho. just like, idle. Any idea what I did wrong?

Have you ran the FNIS and reset animation registry in sexlab settings?

the current version of sl needs to be installed on the first playthru or it won't run, but if you're hearing sounds play then you seem to be past that already so my next guess would be have you run fnis yet since installing the 2 mods

slave reset from version 7.1.4 as well as reboot can/will cause the double dialog issues - it was a known issue in that version and should be removed from the current version - that's why instead of attempting to reinstall the older versions you need to be reinstalling the current version

Ok I understood. Alright thanks for helping out. I've tried everything in my knowledge to fix it and it didn't go well. Hopefully the next update might. :)

Love your mod...have been using different versions for two years.  One request....can you make it so the slaves aren't constantly bumping into the player when following in sneak mode? Its really irritating  :) ,  I much preferred to have them wait behind on the old version so you didn't have to worry about getting rammed from behind all the time.

 

actualy that's what's already listed as in progress, meaning repeating something already stated  half dozen times is only slowing it down

the behavioral changes listed in the change notes became the start of an ongoing project never listed in the plans cuz i never knew it was possible to make those changes, but researching what goes into making making more slaves lead me to a ton of behavior packages with follow distances to play with :D .

yes, its a nuisance when the slaves bump the player while sneaking, but i prefer that over the slaves hanging so far back they're not around for the battle that's coming. in the meantime i'll keep tinkering with their behaviors until i find something in the middle that neither holds back out of site range nor pushes the player

 

 

 

Honestly, I find that the current implementation, where the slaves in sneak mode are basically constantly trying to occupy the same physical space as the player, effectively breaks sneaking. It's difficult as hell to line up an arrow for a snipe shot when you're constantly getting pushed around, never mind getting close enough for a backstab, and the constant movement and occasional kick-in of the NPC collision reaction drastically raises detection chances. 

 

On top of that, it's also broken the 'hang back from combat' behavior for non-combat slaves, as it seems that any slave in sneak mode loses all concept of the player's personal space, completely regardless of what's happening around them. So they're quite happy to slowly creep right into the middle of a pitched melee, where one mis-aimed blow from the player can leave that low-level bandit you just grabbed for sale a bloody heap on the floor. 

 

The previous behavior was also a bit annoying, but the way any slave would simply stay in the same place from the moment the player went into sneak mode at least allowed the player to sneak through dungeons unhassled. Since the change I've more often than not found myself binding all my following slaves at the start of dungeons to replicate the effect and keep them the hell out of my way.

yes to the first, no to the second. I agree that that would be a logical step, but that is beyond my ability. That said, of someone wants to make such a mod using the SS market, feel free. ;)

Maybe a patch that merged Paradise Halls Enhanced with Simple slavery? I already play with both in my loadorder ;)

Probably with Paradise Halls: Home Sweet Home instead. Doesn't allow to buy a slave per say, but you can sell yours at the restless hunter. PAHE is mostly about capturing slaves, it all depend on CliftonJD.
if I understand these mods properly, that's incorrect. Home just gives you a place to store slaves. You need PAHE to do the enslaving. A simple patch could work like this: the player enters the SS market and the auction happens, which is the part I don't know how to implement. How to make a bidding war between NPC's and the player?

 

One slighty non-immersive way would be to have the player speak to the auctioneer and give the number he wants to bid, then the NPC's are assigned random numbers. If the player has the highest bid, they win. More like a silent auction. There might be a way to make the player's bid into a global or something, then call it during a scene, if globals can be called in scenes.

 

Anyway, if the player wins, they either use PAHE'S enslavement function to enslave their prize or maybe that can be coded into the mod. Not sure how that works.

 

So the basic functionality is sort of easy to work out. You'd need a lot of NPC's to use as the slaves, stick then on the platform disabled, then enable the next once one gets bought.

 

 

 

 

The HSH mod already has an auction (which it says you can bid in - not used the option myself but seen it appear) in the basement of the Inn so wouldn't jfraser be able to copy that but in the simple slavery auction house though kind of confused as i would have thought you could do everything originally mentioned in HSH (tick questline is optional, wait for 3 slaves to appear in the inn and do an auction) so seems a lot of effort

so pahe will stay about slaves pushing the player all day then becuz you and your buddy like the new behaviors so much the devs will be reading about it everymorning - shit don't get changed if i'm busy reading your constant whining over something i've already stated and repeated over and over about

so, is it still inompatible with immersibe wenches and hydras slaves? (i haven't been playig skyrim for almost  a year now s i don't know what has changed yet)

 

hydra slaves yes, but no to wenches (disable the scenes from the mcm). aside from the wenches scenes there never was an incompatibility with wenches, but i couldn't get a clear enough picture of what the issue was with them until beta testing started for version 7.0. they commonly use the young and eager voice that was in production with layam's nord quest - in 7.0 i removed those voice types to fix it and since then i've given them the dialogues of other slaves (with exception of the broken dialogues). they're almost complete, but i need to go back over them with proper voices next - for now they're atleast every bit as functional as the other slaves tho...

I seem to have a issue with a dialogue after enslaving a NPC.. it just says nothing after selecting "Be quiet and put this on".. :(

 

 

First of all thank you for sharing your work.

 

I seem to be having the same issue with the Female condescending voice type as the previous user. After "be quiet and put this on" and giving them a collar, they get registered as slaves, but that's just about it.Tried to look for conflicts with xedit but couldn't find any.

On an unrelated note it seems its the preferred voice type for most, if not all, mage type female leveled actors (witches,fire/ice mages etc. Worst case scenario, i'll make a patch changing their voice type).

 

Using the latest version on a fresh game. I will try and troubleshoot it myself for a bit and will post back with more details.

Oh, ok. Good to know. I just came from a "vacation" from Oblivion lol. I'm probably gonna reinstall everything from scratch anyway since my game looks more like a junkyard than an actual game now. No surprising after 5 years building on top of an already doubtfull build. Obivion thought me a lot about load orders so perhaps it might help me for skyrim too. It's still gonna take a loooong time before it's back up and running but i'm not gonna add to many mods (if i can help it) anyway.

So I posted some weeks back about some kind of strange conflict causing the slave sex animations to only ever choose from a small pool of animations - the two Leito Double Dildo animations with Aggressive option off, and Zyn Rough Standing with it on. I think I've made some headway, but it's... bizarre.

 

It would seem the cause is... the animations themselves? At the time, my installation was still using NSAP, and I discovered that by disabling the Leito Double Dildo animations, PAHE would choose from the rest of my available animations. Being that NSAP was obsolete by that time, I decided to start a new file with SLAL just in case it was the source of the problem. But no, even with SLAL, PAHE only ever chose Leito Double Dildo 1/2 if they were active, and I had to disable them to get other animations.

 

What strangeness is this? Is anyone able to use the Double Dildo animations without PAHE exhibiting this behavior?

 

I'd been wondering this myself as the animations played (both with aggressive sex ticket on in the PAHE MCM and off) do seem quite limited compared  to the number of animations i have as i also have SLAL with a few animations and sexlab says i have about 450 animations for characters (think its about 220 for creatures)

 

Using O during the animation doesn't seem to get sexlab to switch to a new one so i was assuming that the ones being played where the only ones available with the necessary tags although the sex of the PC might be the issue here, i'm assuming your playing a female PC as well so perhaps we need to use male PC's to see more of a variety

 

 

 

that's a possible solution, the devious devices are made for female player so it likely wasn't setup for male player just like the lack of textures. seems to me like the more you've added into it, the less you're getting back from the animations. these addons were readily available and working until recently, but sexlab hasn't changed and neither has the scripts from pahe controlling the sex.

 

devious devices on the other hand went thru a huge change removing the zaz filter controlling devious devices with a rewrite adding in their own filter. each of us have noticed less animations since then and the most problems with the least available animations come from those who have added animations.

 

 

same issue with no dd mods installed i goet 2 anims  zyn standing for first dialogue and for 2nd i get rough behind maybe its an issue with one of the slal anim packs if i play as male all anims work

ah two things, 7.1.8

 

1. I noticed that for slave tracking only about half a dozen slaves has floating arrows? or does the marker scripts need to be expanded also?

 

2. Some slaves get hung traveling in and out of caves. Its random, but I was am to use the MCM to teleport them to my location. went back into the cave and left and a few more got stuck inside the cave? EFF followers no issue, but noticed this was the 2 nd cave. If not then it might be those two caves navmesh, but never had issues with them before. first was a forswan cave then Broken oar grotto was the last cave I had issues with.

1. sounds like a memory issue related to your quest markers - screenshot provided

2. that's be a known skyrim issue with the number of slaves and or followers you have following thru close openings - only known fix was to tell some to stay behind then go back for the others - that's also a major reason i keep my groups small as previously described (no more than 15 total following)

note still some don't have their quest markers, but atleast its more than you described - the more in the room, the more likely the markers will fail

so, is it still inompatible with immersibe wenches and hydras slaves? (i haven't been playig skyrim for almost  a year now s i don't know what has changed yet)

have 2 female guard (wenches) each showing the female nord voice type - that's layam's voice type fixed in this latest release

I seem to be having the same issue with the Female condescending voice type as the previous user. After "be quiet and put this on" and giving them a collar, they get registered as slaves, but that's just about it.Tried to look for conflicts with xedit but couldn't find any.

On an unrelated note it seems its the preferred voice type for most, if not all, mage type female leveled actors (witches,fire/ice mages etc. Worst case scenario, i'll make a patch changing their voice type).

 

Using the latest version on a fresh game. I will try and troubleshoot it myself for a bit and will post back with more details.

I'd noticed that as well, for me the female condescending partially worked but did not have all the audio.  Female sultry appears to be more broken, if I try to enslave an NPC with the female sultry voice I essentially get the old "nord" bug.  That is, they go into bleed out and get stuck there with no option to finish the enslavement process.  I just assumed this was due to the ongoing work in progress updating the voice types, but perhaps its been an oversight.

 

 

 

Honestly, I find that the current implementation, where the slaves in sneak mode are basically constantly trying to occupy the same physical space as the player, effectively breaks sneaking. It's difficult as hell to line up an arrow for a snipe shot when you're constantly getting pushed around, never mind getting close enough for a backstab, and the constant movement and occasional kick-in of the NPC collision reaction drastically raises detection chances. 

 

On top of that, it's also broken the 'hang back from combat' behavior for non-combat slaves, as it seems that any slave in sneak mode loses all concept of the player's personal space, completely regardless of what's happening around them. So they're quite happy to slowly creep right into the middle of a pitched melee, where one mis-aimed blow from the player can leave that low-level bandit you just grabbed for sale a bloody heap on the floor. 

 

 

Not sure when or why the behavior got changed but it was simple to fix, the attachment below is a corrected file for 7.1.8 that updates the base slave behavior template (PAHActorAliasPackageTemplate) to correctly use the min and max hold back radius.  Strangely this had been set to use the "slave energy" variable instead, but only when the player is sneaking which is why the were crawling up your (and mine and everyone else's) ass.  Changing it back means when sneaking they should stay at a 350 to 4000 unit radius... instead of 50 (which meant they were effectively trying to occupy the same space as your character).

 

I have noticed some other issues with the dialogs and some of their conditional statements that need to be fixed but I haven't had time to really look that over and document what needs to be changed.  I'll post something when I have time, probably along with some suggestions for some additional options that could add a bit more variety to when various responses occur.  But for now as an example, you may have noticed if you tell a slave to do something for you they are more frequently responding with "I don't have to take that from you" even if their submission is at 100 and respect is 80+.  Here's why.

 

That response has three conditions set determining when it can occur.  The first checks to see if the slave is in the slave faction (this is necessary to prevent that dialog from showing up on non slave NPCs).  The second checks to see if their mood is angry.  The third condition checks to see if their submission is less than or equal to 30.  This would be fine if all three conditions were required, but in fact they currently are not.  Each condition ends with an OR statement which means that only one of the above needs to be true for that response to trigger.  In other words, simply being a slave OR, being angry OR having submission less than or equal to 30 will allow that "I don't have to take that from you!" angry response.  Fixing this is simple, the conditions should simple be set to end in AND (except the last one which does currently end in AND, but actually that one should be changed to OR, I'll explain why below).  This gives us the combined condition of the slave must be in the slave faction AND the slave mood must be angry AND submission must be less than or equal to 30 OR...

 

Why should the last one end in OR?  If nothing further is done then it doesn't really matter (other than just being tidy with the code, its a bad habit to end sets of conditions with AND instead of OR in any form programming).  But, there's an opportunity here to have a bit of fun and utility with this by creating more than one set of conditions, in which case ending the first set with an OR is very important.  This first set requires that both submission be low and the slave be feeling angry.  We could add second set of conditions like this

First set of conditions OR

New set

Is the slave in the slave faction AND

Is the slave mood angry AND

Is submission equal to or less than 70 AND

Is respect equal to or less then 60 OR

 

What would this do?  This would mean that if you have a slave AND they are angry AND their submission is equal to or less than 70 AND if also their respect training is equal to or less than 60 you could still get the angry response.  You may be wondering, wouldn't the the first set of conditions override this?  Yes, in fact it does - IF true; but if its isn't true (say the slave's submission is 31) then Skyrim looks at and considers the next set of conditions.  If this next set is true (and with the AND flags set all of those in that set must be true) then the response can still occur.  If this second set is also not true, then the response simply can't occur and Skyrim looks at the next response as to whether it can occur.  This also should underscore how important the order in which things are listed are.  Skyrim always considers conditions, behavior packages, etc from the top of the stack down.

 

There's no limit to how many of these sets of conditions can be applied, though in practical terms it can become cumbersome if you add a lot (just in terms of keeping up with them all and debugging).  Adding some of these additional sets could be a means of adding new response variables that would create circumstances where it would be possible to train Respect above 81-86 where it currently tends to be effectively capped (due to the conditions on current dialog).

 

I haven't had time to look into this much further, but will try to do so when both my spare time and my health allow.

but you can't just console it in, it needs to actually be looking for that in the esp, i was working on setting that up to look for that faction on the slave when i was interupted so the slave should already have the faction, but the esp is looking for a null faction

What would this do?  This would mean that if you have a slave AND they are angry AND their submission is equal to or less than 70 AND if also their respect training is equal to or less than 60 you could still get the angry response.  You may be wondering, wouldn't the the first set of conditions override this?  Yes, in fact it does - IF true; but if its isn't true (say the slave's submission is 31) then Skyrim looks at and considers the next set of conditions.  If this next set is true (and with the AND flags set all of those in that set must be true) then the response can still occur.  If this second set is also not true, then the response simply can't occur and Skyrim looks at the next response as to whether it can occur.  This also should underscore how important the order in which things are listed are.  Skyrim always considers conditions, behavior packages, etc from the top of the stack down.

 

There's no limit to how many of these sets of conditions can be applied, though in practical terms it can become cumbersome if you add a lot (just in terms of keeping up with them all and debugging).  Adding some of these additional sets could be a means of adding new response variables that would create circumstances where it would be possible to train Respect above 81-86 where it currently tends to be effectively capped (due to the conditions on current dialog).

 

I haven't had time to look into this much further, but will try to do so when both my spare time and my health allow.

it took some digging to find that energy bug, but what i've found in the combat template was of bigger concern. rather than sending it out to the thread like you have i'm actually running the tests to see its fixed

 

you could have mentioned either of those bugs sooner so this will be the first time in history i've ever ignored the other half your posting

i consider that to be flaming the thread now so, unless you think with all the scripting involved here you can run this better...i'd suggest deleting that file now

ya i did glance at your notes on respect before i got overly annoyed, but if that's your feelings on it, you're missing the point - they were written that way intentionally to show the slave's disobedience towards your way of treating them or as another user put it, your "meanness" towards them...if your prefered method of training is still set to burn them, they're treating you as should be expected....

but you can't just console it in, it needs to actually be looking for that in the esp, i was working on setting that up to look for that faction on the slave when i was interupted so the slave should already have the faction, but the esp is looking for a null faction

 

 

 

so we just cant add the non working voicetypes to that faction with addfac? damn, because i get the missing dialog alot <seems a lot of mages an such in my game have fiery red hair an i'm a sucker or redheads....
