Guest Hanzx Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Hi ppl i just thought. & i have a bad feeling that once a FO4 sexlab mod is released. it will gain some news coverage/article's. & everybody will attack loverslab/modder's in question. for these kind of mods. is there a way for nobody to mention this. like a super serious general warning to not share this anywhere at all.?  better safe than sorry u should all know this. so plz tell me that i am wrong/an ahole & nothing like this is gonna happen.  also don't rant, curse or spam & gram nazi this thread. lets talk a clean discussion.  P.S I give full permission to all mods to lock & safely delete this thread if it becomes awful/crazy.
Halstrom Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Didn't happen with NewVegas and Skyrim to any significant degree, by the time we get a sex framework happening and stable in 12 months time no one will care about an old game like FO4
2Dimm Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 the way everyone is butthurting about everything its probably going to happen, but who cares...more people will know about loverlab and they may even get more donations :^)
spoonsinger Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I agree with the above two posters:- Â "Didn't happen with NewVegas and Skyrim to any significant degree, by the time we get a sex framework happening and stable in 12 months time no one will care about an old game like FO4 :P" Â I agree, It takes time to do this stuff, and by that time the sticky finger of journalism has writ and moved on. (Yep back in the day, ok lets say Oblivion, there was 'a really slight' media thing about nude bodies. If they had waited around for a year or two........) Â "Who gives a shit if they do anyway?" Â Also agree. You just have to pop any old innocuous phrase into the search engine of your choice and you'll probably get back at least one BDSM/first time/anal dilation using pork pies type link. Hypocrisy and racism seems to be today's media schtick rather than virtual nudity/sex/soul gem production of video games, (unless it has been marketed as having something sexual - e.g. that female pc/npc has a slight big rounded butt for a children's game, even though the age limit is probably set at 18).
AsariX Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Butthurt people and parental organisations may get a little upset. But, the more the better, it only attracts more people to this community, and if as little as 1% of them are capable modders themselves, it'd only make things better.
Suke Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I think we need to look at this in the perspective of the add ons that will be created for the framework. Many rape related mods will probably be more of a threat to this community than anything. With the politically correct society we live in today journalism won't view rape type mods as something in good light and the same applies to many people in general. If that becomes a big topic it could be a threat to Bethesda and it could possibly limit modding in the future.
Wired Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Â I wonder how dialogs will be injected due to limited dialogue editor. Another dialogue wheel activated on the different button?
windu190 Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 It didn't happen before so I doubt it'll happen now.  And even if it does, who cares? Let them whine.Â
Ernest Lemmingway Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I can see the OP's worries since there are people with chronic stick-up-the-ass syndrome. Plus the fact that this is the first game that will have mod support for consoles. That said, I highly doubt Bethesda.net would ever host the things uploaded here so it's unlikely console gamers would ever learn about this place. And if they do, consoles won't accept mods except from Bethesda.net so it will be moot anyway. Â Also see my sig for a relevant point about free speech.
srayesmanll Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 chronic stick-up-the-ass syndrome.  I prefer to call it by its other name: Chronic Butthurt Syndrome, or CBS. People suffering from it must heed the warning signs:  Then they should fill out the proper forms:  Then we can send them to the appropriate doctor:  Of course, my opinion about them is:    (Yes I've had these downloaded for a while and never got to use them. Thanks for the lead-in .)

Well, the PS4 was hacked last christmas, so firmware replacements allowing people to install mods from elsewhere might become a thing.
Loveryus Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 One things that bothers me is that you have to enable mods ingame after logging in with a Bethesda account. If Bethesda decides to ban certain mods and/or users which use them shit might get real.

Halstrom Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Who gives a shit if they do anyway?Well generally true, but there's always the chance that some do-gooder with access to ears higher up could make things uncomfortable for Beth and LoversLab if they found little 12yo Johnny playing a Deathclaw rape scene on his console. If say it was say someone like a relation of a President/Prime Minister etc or someone on the Game ratings board or any number of people with access to pulling plugs on things it could get blown all over the media or just silently have things happen like LL getting kicked from its host. If someone wants something dead bad enough there are plenty of ways to do it or at least inflict a lot of pain and Drama. Really have you seen some of the drama queens out there on anti-rape posts etc on Facebook, they would blow something up so much it would only be a matter of time before the wrong person noticed it. A game mod that allows pregnancy from dogs, then worse again allows abortions of those pregnancies?

Guest MonsterFish Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 But you gave the example of Bethesda taking down LL, not another country. That's the point here right? That they ask Bethesda to take it down and they appeal to whatever and do whatever the process is to shut down a site and they then shut down a site. As far as I'm aware Bethesda is an American company. And if they can't take down a site like ISIS or Al-Qaeda because of their right to freedom of speech, what makes you think they'll go after a humble site like ours? Â And do you think that external and foreign governments will waste their time on such trivial matters like 'Someone made a sex mod' when there are literally hundreds of sites dedicated to sexual pornography and rape albeit fake, enacted rape. But then, SL rape is fake, enacted rape. In fact, not even fake enacted rape because SL rape doesn't have any real people involved. Little Johnny can just as easily stumble across any of these zoophilia or rape sites just by simply being on the internet. Â We are at a state of extremely high tension, with North Korea firing rockets into the sky, Russia buzzing warships, The European Migrant Crisis and the ongoing war in the Middle-East. Nobody is going to stop all this tension simply to deal with some sex site. Â There's also the point of the fact that most, if not ALL mods on LL have warnings on them and require a bit of leg work. There are explicit warnings, frameworks to apply, MCM, SkyUI, FNIS all of that to do (Being a Skyrim scenario, assuming the FO4 scenario is similar). Then there's the actual work of finding a creature and applying this sexual effect or talking to it or whatever the mod requires you to do to engage in this sexual activity. If you find your kid on Fallout 4 fucking a Deathclaw, I'm sorry but he didn't just come across it, he knew exactly what he was doing. And should push come to shove, it's very simple to point that out. Â That is, if the game even has an in-built or downloadable Script Extender for Console. How exactly could one register new animations without the help of a third-party program like FNIS or AF4? Well, they better have an in-built or downloadable register then, too. Â Besides, I doubt that this site will even get that much media attention. Sexual modding has been around since Tomb Raider I and it's not going anywhere with a little bit of parent-pushing. Â Also I'm not using this size to be aggressive, I read your signature and thought I'd help you out a little with a larger font.

[/size] Well actually I was referring to any organisation not just the US government or Beth, it could be any illuminati / anonymous type group that got their panties in a twist, there are stupidly rich fickle people and groups out there who could if they wanted to just buy Beth, LL's Host, or even a modders employer and just shut it down or implement new policies, you just got to piss them off the right way, some of them are bored with too much money and just looking for their next target. Imagine if the "evidence" was escalated to something like kiddie/deathclaw rape porn then plastered all over Facebook "Fallout 4 game setup for baby rape!" or sent to Christianity groups, even if they could not do anything, unwanted attention is still unwanted, Nutters aren't beyond lying to get what they want. I personally prefer not to have myself cyber stalked by some looney do-gooder thank you. Â And I need to fix my sig, I use zoom software now that solves most of the problems
DoctaSax Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Anynomous illuminati feminist SJW presidents have a real hard-on for LL. It is known.
Guest Mogie56 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 ROFLMFAO "it is known" is that Dothraki by any chance ?   LOL
Halstrom Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Anynomous illuminati feminist SJW presidents have a real hard-on for LL. It is known. Probably true but their wives still pull the strings
Adorkable Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Considering the fact that I had never heard of LL prior to stumbling upon it on accident (probably by explicitely searching for adult mods), I don't think anyone here needs to worry about anything. I'm pretty sure people have other things to worry about than a bunch of modders who like to create kinky porn.
