Hitman69 Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Same 'Call to undefined function apc_fetch()' for me. Forgot to install the PECL extension? Directed to me, or VadersApp? If to me, where can I find this "PECL extension"?
VadersApp Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 working on a progress meter thats why there are some error msgs.
VadersApp Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Progress meter is included and working now. Please have a try.  Edit: internal categorizing algorythm isn´t threaded yet, so if the queue is long. You will have to wait longer. Check categorize from time to time. I will add a Progress bar for it later. Edit: adding progressbars and better threading at the moment. So site wont work at the moment. I will update here if ready
VadersApp Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 V0.2B is online now. Â It should convert now fine. Added multithreading and many internal fixes. 4 vms doing parallel processing of the categorizing 12 vms doing parallel converting the meshes 1 vm is monitoring file uploads and downloads 1 vm is checking if processes hang and restart the converting process after 10 minutes. Â I also added database entries for status of the whole processing and the processing of the meshes. This will lead to progress meters for nearly every process. You will see easy how the status of your meshes is. Thats a thing for the future. But also without them converting now should work without problems. Please have a look @ http://vorb.nlight.de So My ESXi Server is in full action for VORBatizing the whole world
VadersApp Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 This project has become a big one  I fixed some bugs V0.21B is running great and much faster.
VadersApp Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 @thesin Your meshes are very big, seems that make my vms struggle. Blender needs more memory to process them. I think it will work if not i have to add more memory. But then it should work. Â @ all i have added Status Info on packs you have uploaded and the state of the meshes. Â Still having problems with big meshes. Every mesh i used for testing seemed to be smaller than yours. Trying to add more memory to the vms later.
thesin Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 Thanks for your hard work, Vader! Â Really had no intention to stress test your application. ;D But I'll continue to upload stuff... if there are any problems, let me know.
VadersApp Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 That´s fine, this is the way i can better find bugs and try to eliminate them. Seems that big complicted meshes can not converted because of my version pyffi is bugged. I hope i ll find a solution.
alchmo Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 That´s fine' date=' this is the way i can better find bugs and try to eliminate them. Seems that big complicted meshes can not converted because of my version pyffi is bugged. I hope i ll find a solution. [/quote']  which version do you have? 2.1.9 is the latest
VadersApp Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Thanks this is the version i upgraded to today. But that leads to another problem. But i think i found out whats going wrong. Deleting weightpainting from the Meshes results in more memory use not as everybody might think. Thats why big meshes fail to convert. Because Blender shuts down without an error message when memory limit is reached. The only thing i can do is give the damn virtual machines more memory. I deactived pagefiles in the vm because i only have 1gbit for the whole esxi server to my zfs san. Swapping would slow down the whole machine. What i can do is let only 4-6 vms do the converting but then without any hickups. Processing duration would be slower but would work. So thats what i do later. BTW some of you have processed normal big meshes without any problems as i can see. Thank you for testing! Â
bigwell Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 WOW. Just read through this whole topic in one go I was so excited. First things first. Vader....... you are a LEGEND!! I cant wait to get home and try this out.  Second thing, as this topic is pretty large now, maybe a "Getting started with VORB" tutorial would be good. Appologies if this already exists and I missed it. Cant imagine I have as I have read the whole thing ;D this could also include FAQ's which will grow over time and known issues/mod incompatabilities. Â
bigwell Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 I guess for me, the holy grail for VORB would be a visual tool to use sliders on various body areas to tweak and view at the same time. Â Another thing, people scared of VORBing their game in case they loose their working modded version. i simply backup my game. Copy the game folder and call it "Vanilla" and I also copy any working modded versions. So if a mod breaks it I can easily revert to vanilla or last working modded version quickly.
VadersApp Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Thank you for your kind words  I thought several times about a config tool, like the one you described, but my knowledge how to create a tool that is able to display the mesh is far above my. Thought about using nifksope for it but it didn´t display the scaled meshes. So i tried the way i did, with the converting site. That of course is upgradable, but first i have to fix the remaining issues with big meshes.  Edit: Yeah, more memory and new Pyffi version and the problems are gone. Jump over to http://vorb.nlight.de and convert your meshpacks. It would be good if you will upload the whole packs, meaning that there is everything in it like textures and esp files. Because it is much easier for other users to install the whole pack. Â
bigwell Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Im realy sorry guys, I cant for the life of me work out how to do this. Â When people say "Install VORB1_5" what do they mean, copy the files over?? I cant find anywhere which clearly describes how to make this bashed patch. Â All I get is the stretch to infinity issue. HELP!! Â Im trying to follow the stepsm, I have noted next to each my questions: Â So, just to sum it up for everyone... 1. Download VORB1_5 and the converted armors/clothes 2. Download VORB (under 'Old versions') 3. Download and install the latest Wrye Bash 4. Install VORB1_5 -- Copy files????? 5. Install the converted standard armors/clothes --Â Copy files???? 6. Create your Bashed Patch as described by VadersApp0 -- Where is this described??? 7. Copy one of the VORB skel* files you like to use for your own character to skeleton.nif and skeletonbeast.nif (Meshes/Characters/_male) 8. Copy the Meshes/Characters/_1stPerson/skeleton.nif from the old VORB to your _1stPerson directory
bigwell Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Ok I think ive done it, nut now I have another blocking issue. I have no penis!!!!!!!!!!!!
VadersApp Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 sorry that is normal in 1.5 because i have added the template i use for weightpainting as nude mesh. Will fix it in 1.6.
luffyboy Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 hmmm is there anyway to link the files of the clothes that has been vorbtized to the original mod sources such as texnexus. this is for reference purposes. it would help to know how the clothes look like and where to find them if need be etc
VadersApp Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 I ll suggest that all vorbatized and community verified conversions should be uploaded to tesnexus by the user who converted for this moment. I will add a version number to the converted pack name for VORB Main Version. If there is an update in weightpainting ,all meshes has to be processed again. so versioning is needed. The reprocessing of course could be done automatically. Â Another thing could be that the user who converted the meshes verifiy if everthing worked as intended and confirm that on the converting site. The site then could upload the pack to tesnexus.
bigwell Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 I noticed that the models have a problem with bending over animations. The butt just doesnt deform well, it sort of stretches in a non-realistic way. I guess this is because of the layer brush technique and I imagine this isnt trivial or even possible to fix.
luffyboy Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 hey vaderapp. im having trouble vorbtizing some clothes  i have been trying to upload clothes files on ur site countless times. i have tried in rar, zip, and plain.nif files. after the waiting time for the files to be uploaded, when i got to the categorize section, it say no mesh files found please upload new ones. is there something im doing wrong?  hence im asking anyone who is able to vorbtize clothes successfully to vorb 2ch live npcs armors if they can. THANKS
VadersApp Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 No what you have done should be right. Maybe you have uploaded the time i worked on the site. This could lead to you problems. The uploader accepts zip,rar and 7z files only Please try again, i monitor what is going wrong if it does.
luffyboy Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 sorry vader! but i accidentally pressed enter while catogorizing and some of my helmet and gnd files were set to be converted too. now they are stuck at weightpainting and it has been hours. what should i do?
