Might I ask why some outfits were taken off this mod?

Outfits witch i remove was from daz models ,some ppl reports about daz models in LL ,i download thos outfits free from daz but i dont want have anyproblems for my sealf and LL

Might be worth checking the original download page and see what their conditions of use are, last time I had much to do with DAZ/Renderosity for DAZ studio was quite some time ago, but most of the free stuff was useable in any way you wanted as long as it was free and could not be hosted on a pay site or sold in any way.

If the original download page is not clear then it could be worth contacting the uploader and see what they have to say about you conversions for skyrim.

There again it might be just easier to contact the original uploader in the first place less confusion in the long run there.

I highly recommend you all to use paint.net if you want to change the color of textures.

Here's an example of something I did with SoHot a while ago before it was taken down.

Is the bodyheels and bootsHB not working with bodyslide?

I build these two for my own body preset but when i used it in game it conflict with the feet.

Am i missing something here?

Thank you :D

When you build boots in bodyslide check FeetZap to hide feet

More than a few folks here have asked that question because that Zap box is so easy to miss. Also, I think someone asked a few posts back if there was a way to have that Zap box checked by default instead of unchecked as it is now. Well, if anyone is interested, here's how you can do that yourself:

There's FOUR files that you have to edit, located at .....Data\Tools\BodySlide\SliderSets

The four files are          0BodyHeels.osp

                                     0BootsHB.osp

                                     0CombatBoots.osp

                                     0HighBoots.osp

As a precaution, back them up just in case you have a brain fart or suffer from "Fat Finger Syndrome"  :D

Now just open one of them in a text editor like WordPad, scroll to the bottom and find the following line:

                                     <Slider name="FeetZap" invert="false" default="0"

Change the "0" to "1" making sure you keep everything else the same. Save and do the same thing to the other 3 remaining files.

Your Zap box is now checked by default.

Zenna, you should really do this change in your files, to prevent this question from coming up again and again.

For convert from daz to FO4 i use 3Ds Max and outfit studio ,what you need its export FBX file from Daz then import FO4 body (CBBE)to 3Ds Max and then Hide unselected and frenzy body then import FBX file ,convert it to editable poly and frenzy then delete what left (skeleton daz body ) unfrez all and rotate daz model by 180 then sclae it and fit to body :)

So should Z0-Highboots and Z0-TennisShoe also be feetzapped?

With

0BodyHeels.osp

0BootsHB.osp

0CombatBoots.osp

0HighBoots.osp

That makes it 6 files, right?

Highboots seems to need the box to be checked manually, yes. (it even changes back to unchecked if you switch to another dress in bodyslide). Tennis-shoes dont, should be set to checked by default (and i dont see any change if its unchecked).

I've been following this thread for a while and I just wanted to say thanks Zenna for having the integrity to remove outfits you thought might be an IP problem... I know a some folks are bummed about it, looking for loopholes and older downloads, but I think it was the right call. It's much more exciting to see your original works developing here anyway.

Hey zenna, I've built the boots in Bodyslide and made sure to tick the box to zap the feet. But, when it comes to equipping in-game, it doesn't work and the feet stick out. So I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here...

When you open Bodyslide:

pick ZO-Highboots

pick your Preset

BUILD!

If you pick another Outfit after checking the FeetZap, it will return to "unchecked".

To prevent that, go into your Bodyslide folder under Fallout4\Data. Go to Sliderpresets and open "ZO-HighBoots.osp" with a text editor.

Scroll down to the bottom, look for this line:

<Slider name="FeetZap" invert="false" default="0" zap="true">

Change it to:

<Slider name="FeetZap" invert="false" default="1" zap="true">

Save and exit.

Zenna wanted to fix this, but in the latest update its still set to "0".

This works also for the old boots in the outdated mod.

Hope that helps.

i tried this method djangoku but either the feet wont disspear or the body will not form to my custm preset..

also what is the name of the semen "outfit"? cant find it!

You're not the only one my friend. It's happening to me too, my preset won't form to my custom preset, even after I clicked build!

Ok, then i cannot help you. I downloaded latest version and it works for me, ingame and in bodyslide. I install this mod manually, not with a Modmanager.
