Some serious , some satyrical calling for removing other characters poses from the game for various reasons. Main stances on the matter are: -Pose should not be removed and minorties should not dictate anyone what to do -Pose should be removed cuz it did not fit the character personality -Everyone should calm thh fuck down, its just a pose Strawpoll votes: http://strawpoll.me/7212830/r Personaly i dont play overwatch and do not know if i ever buy it mostly cuz im not a competetive player. I spent my youth playing high lvl counter-strike and had my share for a lifetime. I do enjoy the the character design and overall asthetic of the game tho. Even tho i have no stakes in this fight i feel very nagativly about what happened. The arguments of the orginal op are non sensical. All i see here is woman shaming desquised as modern feminism. You can't be proud of your body , if you are showing it off then you are just a piece of meat. We see it over and over again latly with censorship of street fighter, marvels spiderwoman cover controversy, canceled realese of DOA Vollayball outside japan and atacks on models and booth babes resulting in lost jobs. I think it is going way to far. If you look at the pose you will see that it is not even sexualized. She is just standing there without and kind of seductive look or motions. Yet it is enough to completly change Tracer from "hero" to "slut" in OP eyes. I think there is some twisted logic in work here that is actully hurting woman more than protecting them. Not to mention ruin our fun by taking our virtual butts from us!!! What do you guys think of the matter? Will Blizzard listen to majorly negative feedback or try to keep protecting 8yo girl from horrrors of covered female buttocks?

I remember having to fight for our right to party after Night Trap and Mortal Kombat got dragged before Congress. Now I live in an age where not only does the internet get enraged at a few dumbass college extreme leftists to the point where they openly court the same conservatives that blamed gaming for contributing to the meltdown of western civilization (and actually believe that said right wing vultures care about gaming). We actually courted MILO FUCKING YILANOPOLOUS, a man who only weeks before that certain group I won't name came to life on Twitter said the whole lot of us were failures in life and incontinent ta boot. Yea, getting bent out of shape because of skintight pants and a butt pose is stupid, but you know what strikes me as even stupidier? The backlash all of this has spawned. The blacklash now annoys me even more than the SJW's, and that was a tough bar to leap. Bad enough that people are getting offended over nothing, now we have people waiting for people to get offended over nothing so THEY can be offended over them getting offended over nothing! *INCEPTION GONG* Booth babes? Funny, I recall not more than a year or two, self appointed as hell defenders of gaming were sharpening pitchforks and lighting torches over the supposed scourge of "Fake Gamr Gurls!" and booth babes were considered public enemy no. 2-3. Damn, things change fast, don't they? Finally, in regards to DOAX, 1: PlayAsia localized it and sells it, so it is available outside Japan. The game can be bought if you want it. 2: That was manufactured controversy. The publishers themselves admitted to such. While I'm pretty sure uptight radicals probably would have some problem with the game, they were going for a Streisand Effect to generate some extra buzz for a game franchise that, to be honest, doesn't sell that well for them. I get a smug laugh knowing that anyone buying a medicore cheesecake party game loaded with so many microtransactions that it puts a lot of free mobile games to shame, are getting ripped off all so they stop teh ess jay dubyas from winning.

This isn't the first or last salvo in an artist's ability to openly and freely express themselves without imposition of cultural or morally "correct" blinders, and your attitude sure as hell isn't helping. Perhaps you might consider that exactly one negative opinion was enough to change the entire artistic line of a product made by a company with a higher GDP than over half of the countries on planet earth. If you think this is an isolated incident in either respect, you are in denial, and by the time you decide to get uppity about it, it will potentially be far too late to say or do otherwise. Milo doesn't speak for anyone unless they allowed him to, and neither did "King of /pol/" and neither did "IA". For someone complaining about missing the boat you seem to be treading a good deal of water.

It's a time honored tactic, use the old "THEY don't want you to play this game!!! Be a rebel!!!" to jack sales past the niche crowd that were loyal to the franchise. Somehow that made a mediocre cheesecake game who's biggest feature was jiggling boobs a holy martyr of the new religion. Thing is, I like jiggly boobs myself. Humans no matter what gender they are will find a way to gain the upper hand over someone else and sex is one of the most popular ways. It is human nature to enjoy taking something important from someone else like money power influence or valuables etc. Also what is the worlds oldest profession?
