Good morning folks, I am just wondering if anyone has ever had the problem where after surrendering to bandits, they capture you, but do nothing then say they got bored of you and sell you to one of the ME auction houses, but when you get there they (the bandits) start attacking all the inhabitants of that AH?

Good morning folks, I am just wondering if anyone has ever had the problem where after surrendering to bandits, they capture you, but do nothing then say they got bored of you and sell you to one of the ME auction houses, but when you get there they (the bandits) start attacking all the inhabitants of that AH?

 

    I have had some odd instances with bandit's, I was being a pony girl, and used by some of them, and then i decided to drop the pony Girl quest with cheat menu.

 

  Then my owner wound up at a tavern, where a bandit showed up, and of course was killed by the people in the tavern.  I am guessing, something in the transfer, or the NPC already had some package added that must not have been removed, so it came planing to rape, but got raped.

 

   I was thinking maybe something similar, may have happened at about the time that your were sold.   But I have had many mods to cause the crazy attack everyone events to happen from time to time. Maria is not the first,  It use to happen all the time with DCL, but I have not had that issue in DCL for some time now.  Also has happened to me in SD+ once in awhile.

 

   I am just letting you know it has happened to me, I tend to ignore it unless it becomes like and all the time thing.  I guess we should get a log next time, and display it here, so maybe someone, might shed some light on the problem.

Is it aight to ask what you have planned for your next version (If there even is a next version) and if your taking potential ideas.

 

Also galgat voice packs?! Where does one aquire such golden content?

Next release comes with:

  • SlaveTat support - SlaveTats are simply handled as part of outfits
  • Heretical Resources - Chained cuffs are rattling now, Nipple Clamps for punishment...
  • New large Quest Khajit Transport: you no longer gets teleported but become a victim of a very humiliating slave transport. You never saw this before in Tamriel - the journey becomes an adventure and you might never reach the destination you expected before.
  • New Quest - Night in Stables: You mistress might like to leave you locked up in a stable while she goes having some fun in the tavern. The hostlers welcomes you with open arms (their horses too).
  • New Mini Quest - Mine Slave: You might get sold to a mine corporation and work as a miner and a fucktoy for other miners. No much variety - fuck & work.
  • Many small improvements in the follower mechanics
  • Builder spell (self) : Executioner Chopping Block and Fireplace added
  • New voices (German): Two new male voice actors, one additional female actor.
  • Sitting spectators: If there are chairs or benches near the hot spot the spectators sits
  • Spectator call - hotkey.
  • ... (many things that I have forgotten - I worked so long on this release - especially at the transport quest)
  • more than 1000 new voice topics - making everything more humiliating

There will be more in next release:

  • price reduction for sex (traders, hostlers, trainers)
  • Succubus potion is back an better than ever
  • You can ask for help when being restrained - but there will be no help for free in Tamriel
  • You can define which collars and cuffs shall be used
  • Random guests in brothels
  • Lot's of dialogs in brothels (between Player/NPC and NPC/NPC)
  • Complex brothel mechanics - so they feel pretty much immersive now
  • Builder spell items can be customized
  • Whipping scene uses hotkeys now - so you have influences how long you gonna be whipped

For modders:

  • Almost everything is based on Papyrus Story Manager and keywords. You can trigger many quests with keywords now (no more SKSE mod events)

For cell architects:

  • The whole prostitution and slavery stuff is based on Zaz and Zep factions and special Location Types instead of StorageUtils. Unfortunately this breaks all existing brothel mods - but I will update them all.

For grumblers:

  • Devious Devices are completely removed - including support for them. Everything is based on Zaz and Zep. If you wear DD items ME wont recognize them. But I have started with a restraints registry in Zep - BDSM toy mods can register their toys in Zep now and then ME will recognize and use them.
  • Many triggers are no longer time based but location based - because Papyrus Story Manager doesn't provide timers. So new quests will almost be triggered by cell changes
  • I am thinking about removing most of the MCM options: they make modding and testing a hell.

First time mod user feedback. Completely fresh install, new game. Latest everything.

 

At the moment I'm unsure if I'm doing something wrong or I managed to find some bugs. I played only a short time, but I had to reload earlier games several times because of various issues.

 

 

Issue 1: Hulda

 

The mod is set to require license for whoring.

I talked to Hulda about some good paying job. She offered the job, but I said to her that her share is too much. Then I talked to Carlotta and she was willing to pay for services rendered. I told her to follow me and left the inn. That was when trouble started. Hulda kept following me _everywhere_, even out of city and told me she don't want any whoring in her inn. We were not even near the inn. After she told the warning, she insisted to leave the inn then left... for 5 seconds and then came back and kept repeating this. Reload.

 

 

 

Issue 2: Unequipping devious devices

 

In another attempt I went for a pimp and worked a little. Went upstairs with a patron, who equipped devices on my character. The problem was, he did not unequip them after sex. Nor the pimp.

 

 

 

Issue 3: Blindfold

 

There are 2 issues with it, one is just a personal preference: a lot of patrons seem to prefer to equip one, but as I see the ME blindfold is a custom one and does not respect DD settings. I prefer to see the action, but this blindfold prevents it. Would be nice to have an option for this.

 

The other issue is that I can simply drop the blindfold. I can't unequip it, but if I go for the drop item option, it works.

 

 

 

Issue 4: Prison

 

A patron suggested to follow her to her house for sex. The problem was, that someone was home, who reported me for trespassing. The guards came and arrested me.

 

My character appeared in a cell, in chains and couldn't move (probably because my character was still stuck in the earlier sex animation). I managed to start masturbation from the action menu (played male animation...) and 3 guards entered to watch. I could follow them outside but couldn't open doors (which is strange while wearing only wrist restraints. I could accept that if the character would wear armbinder). I could have sex with the guards, but that didn't seem to lead anywhere, so I was stuck there again. Reload.

 

 

 

Issue 5: Sleeping

 

I'm not sure if this is ME or the Bannered Mare Immersive Sexual Playgroud mod's problem (which says it works w/o any problem with ME. I did not install the Bannered mare mod which came with ME.) Anyway, there is a scene when the character is tied up on the rug and left there while the pimp sleeps in the bed. The pimp could not navigate to the bed and the character got tied up behind Hulda's counter (under the bed on the upper floor). I had to use Wait to make the pimp teleport next to the character.

 

 

Issue 6: Jaxon

 

The readme says the mod uses Jaxon's Positioner. Still, ME's most important hotkeys (cursor left and right) are conflicting with Jaxon. I was surprised when I pressed the hotkey for the UI Extension menu and nothing happened. I just reallocated the keys in ME and it works now. Maria is placed behind Jaxon (overwrites it) in MO.

 

 

Issue 7: Sexlab Alternate starts

 

This is probably the issue of the said mod. I selected the alternate start of being a slave in ME. After sleeping in the cell's bed, I appeared somewhere in Skyrim with an orc dude. I thought this guy is the character's owner, but then he attacked me at once (I managed to kill him).

 

 

Edit:

Issue 8: Heimskr

 

Heimskr became the random john. It is imposible to do anything with him, as he will never break away from his preaching. Even dancing in front of him not working.

Issue 9: License checking

 

A guard stopped me to examine the Whoring permit. I gave it to him. He said he would give it back, but he didn't. Pickpocket shows it in his inventory. No dialog to demand it back. Tested 2 times.

 

 

 

 

I feel this much issues in a few hours of playing is way too much. Too bad, because otherwise the mod does a lot of things very well.

Issue 10: Cheating

 

"Stop Quest" did not reset the John is looking for you quest. So I'm still stuck on the Heimskr quest.

 

 

Issue 11: Missing punctuation marks

 

A lot of dialogs are missing the punctuation marks from the end of sentence.

  This one should be easy, there is setting in Zaz to make it clear, or dark, or pulsing.

 

Maria, and DDI do not work well together, so if have DDI running will have problems. only thing DD you need for this one is DDA ( which has never needed DDI, and was a stand alone clothing pack mostly, and I guess next release of maria that one will not be needed.

 

   Some of your other stuff, though I have seen, the one where devices were not removed after sex, has happened to me some, but not all the time.

 

   I never had the Inn owner to follow me out side, that would have been funny, but I am sure got bothers some also.

 

  and yes the Guards are sleazy about the Whoring permit, they took it from me the last time, and I now always check it to be UN-needed in the MCM, as it was a major problem for me any way.

 

 

   The trespassing thing in NPC homes has been a problem sense Oblivion, I had a terrble time finally eleiminating it in LoverCrowningIsle, where I gave the player the ability to give them selves as a slave to anyone they met.  It was just and extra thing in CrowningIsle. [ However building a looping check like I did in Oblivion to solve that problem would cause papyrus to Puke, and die. The C++ style of Oblivion scripting was much faster, and you could not hardly ever script Over load it, Papyrus dies at the simplest repeating cloak, or magic area effect spell ]

 

   I really like this mod, I don't think there are very many mods I have played here for skyrim that don't have "Re-Load and old save Bugs" in them so it really does not bother me that much. But It will be nice if zaira finally weeds the majority of them out, and I think for a solo modding job, he has done, very, very well.

Okay, I slept some and calmed down.

 

I'm sorry for my increasingly annoyed earlier post.

 

I was really looking forward to this mod. I spent like 2 hours to properly set up everything, generated a new character, set up all the mods (check for new versions too), etc. The game never crashed once.

 

I was increasingly disappointed as I faced more and more problems. The last problem (the gag talk incompatibility) was 2 folded. Cursed Loot has a quest called Bondage Adventure, which at the end requires to talk to an NPC to free you. Since ME prevented that, it essentially broke that quest and my character was stuck in a quest armbinder which could be removed only by this quest. I found the option in ME to stop ME which I did (I read the warning that it is dangerous to use) and I could finish the Cursed Loot quest. But then I noticed that _all my items_ are gone.

 

 

I think you are one of those modders who are making the mods for themselves and not for the community. It is of course completely up to you, we are happy that you still share it with us.

 

On the other hand, when it is out at the community, we expect it to work with other mods, especially ones with similar themes. It is really good that you have your own solutions for handling things like the blindfold, or gag talk (or the lack of). But these should not override other mods' capabilities. There should be options for the player if they want to use your version, or the "vanilla" ones.

 

For example Kimy recreates a lot of functionality from other mods (I personally think he does too much) but he always makes everything customizable. For example he has a whoring module as well which I usually use. But for the sake of this run, I disabled it, because I wanted to use yours. He also has his own gag talk, but it can be configured too if the player wants to use that or the original one.

 

Now I read you are working on to completely remove DDs from your mod... This means the players will lose like 90% of devices that you could have used and also the Bodyslide support for your items. You are distancing your mod even further from the community.

 

I don't even know what will happen if the player wears a DD chastity belt and tries to whore. If ME ignores DD items, then she can go and f*** with a patron, but SexLab won't play the animation because of the belt, right?

 

 

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. Please consider making your unique things optional and leave the decision to the players. It is sad to see that a mod with this great potential will sit on the sideline instead among the best ones. If you are taking it towards a niche mod, a few people will raise you to the dais and crown you as their king. However most of the other players will just go away and use the popular mods.

You are wrong: ZaZ + Zep + Heretical Resources covers 90% of all BDSM Toys.

 I had to much trouble with DD in the past and I looked into the code of the dev branch of DD and don't see that there will be a change in future. Now I have dropped DD support and won't revert it.

 

Customizing leads to much more effort for testing, stability and maintenance.

In ME you can perfectly customize within gameplay - for example obey to your mistress will change gameplay. Don't obey if you like it harder.

 

ME gives you a very unique BDSM experience - if you don't like it, don't play it.

 I have absolutely no ambitions to win a modding contest.

PS: In Zep there is a BDSM toy registry now. If you feel a need for DDxyz in ME make a patch that registers the DD toys in Zep. I wont do it because I don't use DD toys.

If people continue to try to run this mod with DDX based mods they are going to have problems. Personally, i think this mod offers enough content that you dont need much of anything else in order to have fun sexy times. This is a pretty big thread so i can understand people not wanting to trawl though it at length. However, when i was having problems, it took me about 30 seconds of searching here to realise that ME doesn't work well with DDi, and once you understand that, getting things to stabilise isn't too difficult.  ;)

OK, I`m being stupid. When a whoring job comes to "Show xyz what you`re willing to do for $" I have NO clue what to do, Playing the game with a gamepad. I have no spell to initiate sex, the animation menu wheel menu doesn`t offer anything aparent either and there`s no conversation that would indicate things might start ...

 

How do I "show customer what I am willing to do"?

  I don't think there was any offense taken, you are not the first person to come in here, and beg, or try to bully zaira into making his mod compatible with DDI, and you probably won't be the last.

 

   I for one like DDI, and I love Maria Prostitution.   DDI has 20 or more people picking at it, and modding it, zaira is just one person, doing a really great job.  He has given us and alternative to DDI style of bondage, and I like it.   I also like DDI, but all DDI dependent mods are very much alike.

 

1.    I personally do not mind, as this mod is pretty script heavy, and DDI, and many of the mods for DDI are pretty script heavy. My system is not a super new system, it is reasonable, but Papyrus is a really sick language, and it will quite often Puke out all of its script's, and restart everything when it gets to many procedures to process at once.

   Sometimes these procedures, some of them do not get restarted, and so Boom... Bugged.

  

    Even a super duper Alien ware top of the line will still cough when this happens, { because it is not always the speed of the system, but the Buggy way Papyrus, or bad Lua, I like to call it work }.  so for me a few less Mods at a time is a good thing.. :Note I said for me

 

   This can screw up even the best laid plans of any modder.  But use you own judgement IN what you run and how, that is always up to you.

 

2. many people just love to see how many Mods they can run, and for some it is quite the bragging right.  I personally just like not CTD-ing at all..LOL

 

3. Even when I play DDI mods, I tend to limit them to one at a time.

 

        If I get to many DDI mod's going, I can really get confused, even in what I have to do to get the items off [ this is especially true if I saved, and then came back to the game latter ] .  "Lets see is this the one I have to go to the blacksmith to get taken off, and he will send me to Tim-buck-too, and tell me to find my way back ", or" is this the one where he has me take a letter to some person in Tim-buck-too, and maybe they will release me", or "do I need to talk to that lady in captured dream's", or "is this the one that I struggle out of ( Now how many time's do I struggle, and do I have to wait one hour between struggles )", or "maybe this one use's regular restraint key's", or "is it a chastity key", or "maybe it need the tool", or "could it be the one that need multiple key's, and I have to take item's off in the right order, can't take off a suit if I have glove's on, and such as that". " However it could be one that I need to have sex a certain number of time's", or "maybe I have to wear it for 50 day's before it will come off",  or "is this the one where I have to avoid sex for 10 or 15 days to get it off", or "do I have to go get the rest of the Bondage item's stuck on me, before someone will tell me where the key is".. Gosh I get so confused.

    Or now with the new version, and the Quest driven, Keyword's, "well, I can not continue this mod, until I get the Item removed from the other DDI mod", Or "someone Else's mod removed my DDI device, and now that DDI Mod is Broken".  So many things can go wrong with DDI mod's, anyone that has played them knows this.  They are fun, but you get a lot of sometimes, self inflicted problem's, but also just problems.   I have had to do the "Load and earlier save bug" thing with them, many, many times too, so they are not perfect.

 

4. So In a nut shell I will say I like both styles of play, and I have profiles for most all of them, and I for one, am very happy to play them separately, and for me that works very well.

 

    I find what zaira has done very refreshing, and new, and it has a very different style, and I enjoy that very much. zaira is just one person, doing a fine job.

 

    DDI as I said has had at times more than 20 Modelers, scripters, testers, and over the course of DDI's life, many more than that have contributed to it's complexity, and zaira is just one person plucking away at his dream, and plan for his mod.

Will throw my 2 cents here - I am following with interest the development of ME since it's first versions, so I *know* that it is not compatible with DDI based mods. New folks and those who didn't follow ME might not know that - on the first page there are only required mods, no word of those which are *not* supported/compatible. So, people have a tendency to jump into conclusions - if Devious Assets are supported, why not other Devious mods?

 

Now, this is obviously not an excuse for being rude... I am thinking - perhaps writing a warning about any DDI related mods not being supported on ME's download page would prevent at least some people from trying to run DDI and ME together?

        If I get to many DDI mod's going, I can really get confused, even in what I have to do to get the items off [ this is especially true if I saved, and then came back to the game latter ] .  "Lets see is this the one I have to go to the blacksmith to get taken off, and he will send me to Tim-buck-too, and tell me to find my way back ", or" is this the one where he has me take a letter to some person in Tim-buck-too, and maybe they will release me", or "do I need to talk to that lady in captured dream's", or "is this the one that I struggle out of ( Now how many time's do I struggle, and do I have to wait one hour between struggles )", or "maybe this one use's regular restraint key's", or "is it a chastity key", or "maybe it need the tool", or "could it be the one that need multiple key's, and I have to take item's off in the right order, can't take off a suit if I have glove's on, and such as that". " However it could be one that I need to have sex a certain number of time's", or "maybe I have to wear it for 50 day's before it will come off",  or "is this the one where I have to avoid sex for 10 or 15 days to get it off", or "do I have to go get the rest of the Bondage item's stuck on me, before someone will tell me where the key is".. Gosh I get so confused.

    Or now with the new version, and the Quest driven, Keyword's, "well, I can not continue this mod, until I get the Item removed from the other DDI mod", Or "someone Else's mod removed my DDI device, and now that DDI Mod is Broken".  So many things can go wrong with DDI mod's, anyone that has played them knows this.  They are fun, but you get a lot of sometimes, self inflicted problem's, but also just problems.   I have had to do the "Load and earlier save bug" thing with them, many, many times too, so they are not perfect.

 

4. So In a nut shell I will say I like both styles of play, and I have profiles for most all of them, and I for one, am very happy to play them separately, and for me that works very well.

 

    I find what zaira has done very refreshing, and new, and it has a very different style, and I enjoy that very much. zaira is just one person, doing a fine job.

 

    DDI as I said has had at times more than 20 Modelers, scripters, testers, and over the course of DDI's life, many more than that have contributed to it's complexity, and zaira is just one person plucking away at his dream, and plan for his mod.

 

 

 

I see what you are saying here, it was confusing for me first as well, especially Cursed loot. Before Kimy was kind enough and listened to our pleas to include Export/Import config, it took at least 30 minutes to set it up (only that mod alone!), because I really don't like his default settings. :) Now it takes only a few seconds, thanks to the config saving option, hallelujah! :)

 

It is also true that a lot of DD mods can conflict with each other and they are riddled with bugs. For example Cursed Loot ( :) ) still can't always remove Restrictive Corset since over a year.

 

On the other side a lot of DD mods try to respect each others' quest items and other stuff. It takes time and experimenting to see which mods do work together and which don't. I usually have only 1 major and a few smaller DD mods working together. Some I avoid entirely because they proved to be unreliable over several versions.

 

As for ME, I uninstalled it and deleted the profile entirely. I did not report this, but I found some more bugs, one of them which was preventing whoring entirely (w/o the intervention of any other mod, it happened multiple times in the Fox Club (which was surprisingly good otherwise)). So basically the main feature was not working reliably, only quest reset solved it. So one thing was the incompatibility, but the major thing was that it was far too buggy. I don't mind bugs like the guards keeping the license, I just consoled myself another. What made me uninstall it was the last bug with the whoring.

 

As for the mod going separate way, it has it perks sure, but also has its drawbacks. I was told by a wise man once, that one of the biggest mistake you can make as a game developer is to not listen to your players. This of course doesn't mean that you have to do everything they say. It means that if a lot of people are asking for something, then it is a good idea to think about implementing it (it is absolutely true for any software development btw).

PS: In Zep there is a BDSM toy registry now. If you feel a need for DDxyz in ME make a patch that registers the DD toys in Zep. I wont do it because I don't use DD toys.

Odd issue here. Always had this just never asked about it. 

 

I cant remap "open mouth" hotkey in the MCM menu and assign keys to the menus but no the mouth. It's no big deal expect my character runs around with a wide open mouth every time i open the map :P

spam it and it'll toggle back eventually without opening the map.

No solution except re-mapping a key that binded to "Map"
