What a discussion concerning agressive/consensual animations.

 

I'd figure I butt in just to state my opinion....

I don't like dislike agressive animations in games, I just hugely prefer consensual animations.

 

I always liked sweet loving sex positions in which both participants really seem to love each other, but that doesn't mean I completely dislike agressive animations; I just have a preference.

 

Depending on my mood I'll switch it up a bit sometimes and work on agressive animations instead of consensual ones.

 

But as stated before, I've been defeated in combat sometimes using Sexlab Defeat by another female only to have Sexlab choose consensual lesbian animations....which really bugged me.

I totally agree Nibbles. As much as i love some of the more pleasant and consenting sex, ideally for when my female character for example is a Inn prostitute, then they work perfect. but when she is out adventuring and grabbed by bandits or any human enemy, its way more immersive for aggressive style animations to be used than to then find myself in a very intimate loving pose and clearly looking consental. I understand we can choose which anims play for each sex style but i am glad animators consider both consenting sex anims to create as well as rough unconsenting. Same kind of goes for creature animations although most of the sex animations with beasts tend to be fairly rough as its more of a breeding thing going on than love making or any consent issue.

I hope this comment helps with your writers block: I use a mod that changes the speed of SL animations. Your animations, more than any others, continue to look realistic and good when I speed them up a lot. They are often slow at default speed, but when they are much faster, they become a very different animation and, I think, better. Your newest dog animation was very realistic, motion-wise, especially during the fast rough parts.

 

Furthermore, your dedication to including multiple loops within one animation, in order to have other moving parts, such as her squirming arms, is excellent and above the level of many other animators. I think there are many new, different little things she could be doing in between otherwise simple loops.

 

Any more animations like that, hard, fast and into her butt cheeks, will definitely go into my movies and my hundreds of followers will love it. Thank you.

 You could always do some 'utility' animations; not the most artistic but sorely needed in some instances.

 

As an example: paired pissing animations. Every time I see watersports in a mod there are two separate

animations being played at the same time for the two actors and they rarely wind up in the right place

relative to each other and it just looks stupid. Having an actual two (or more) person animation would

solve that problem. Having some group bukkake animations would be nice too. Then there are always

solo bondage furniture animations or bound animations. I think some really lewd dancing/masturbation

animations would be cool too. Some primal dances with weapons or musical instruments would be interesting.

I could just imagine some Orcs, Falmer or Forsworn dancing around a fire. I'm sure you could find

a 'scripting buddy' and make custom animations for some really innovative mod, and it wouldn't

even have to be an adult mod.

 

 I wonder if part of your block is because Skyrim bodies are not as flexible as human bodies, and look

like shit when bent certain ways. That's enough to discourage animating outside the box.

 

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more conservative bread and butter animations from you, because you

are honestly within the top 3 animators, ever, for Skyrim.

I only animate what I'm interested in myself.

I plan to do some more F/F animations but have no interest in M/M animations (sorry for the people who want those animations)

As an example of what I still got laying around:

 

- Gloryhole animation

- Table fuck (from behind)

- A sort of sideways fuck animation

- Reverse lotus animation

- Another bondage post animation (with male taking the lead)

- A non-consensual lesbian animation

- Handjob animation

- Spider animation

- Standing fuck behind (I meant to fix this one, and found the cause; but need to delve somewhat deeper to fix it)

- Another standing fuck behind animation

And got some more loose animations.

I actually got some miscellaneous stuff in creation.

And my "block" is more like this: ....I've spend time on creation 1 animation stage....then look at the result and think to myself "This looks stupid and I can do way better".

And that happened for all my recent attempts.

 

And I don't have a lot of free time anymore, so there's that too.

 

My whole past half year has been a mess in terms of free time, I'm doing good in real life though so that's a plus. But can't bring myself to put a lot of extra free time in animating right now; wish I could since it's more fun then what I'm doing right now...but yeah...that's how it is.

Okay, 1st of all I love SirNibbles's animations so please don't bash me  My problem is AFTER I activate them in game using slal select all then register with sl I go and play for awhile, exit game and quit to desktop. Then when I try to load a saved game with SirNibbles's anima's active none load. I have to go all the way back to a save BEFORE I activated them loosing hours of play. And believe me I found this out the hard way. . So, I asked 1st and was told to ask you all for some help in solving my problem. Here is my LOOT lad order and FNIS run after adding anima's.

first of all, learn to use spoiler tagging, we don't need to see all of that at all times.

I may have found my problem, altho I did save your link. 

Went into sexlab and did a clean and rebuild. Let it run, saved my game. Exited to desktop, opened up last save an yay!! it ran.

So started SirNibbles's anima's, saved, exited to desktop, reloaded save and yay!! it ran again. 

Guess I'll play a bit an see if it all works now. Thank you for your suggestion and I'll maybe use it anyways.

You should probably look at installing Crash Fixes sooner rather than later.  The string table bug does not crash your game or show any issues as you play, it just corrupts all your save files while you have a certain amount of data in them.  Doing some things in game can make the data amount drop enough that you can make a working save, but eventually your save files will always have too much data and will be corrupted, meaning you need to lose progress and load an old save. 

 

Crash Fixes stops the save corruption from happening, but it will not fix corrupted saves.

Sorry if someone else has mentioned this (it's a long thread). But based on MCM, it doesn't look like the spanking animation has the "Spanking" tag. I'm currently playing around with the Creation Kit to see if I add some disciplinary spankings to Skyrim that don't require the character to either be bound with crazy devices (not my thing) or enslaved (also not my thing). If you could add the Spanking tag to your spanking animation, that would make my life a lot easier!

With SexLab Animation Tag Editor (SLATE) you can add tags yourself.

This way you don't have to wait for an update.

Yep, you can also use Sexlab Tools to do this.  Without actually needing to install any extra mods however, you can just open the .json file for the Nibbles SLAL pack and add the tag manually, then reload the .json via the SLAL MCM menu.  This is how I normally edit tags (including adding the spanking tag to Nibble's animation for use in a mod), altho you have to do it each time a mod is updated.

 

If you are thinking of releasing a mod publicly that looks for spanking tags however, would definitely be a good idea if Nibbles could add the tag for his next update.

Just added the tag.

Back when I added tags for that animation there weren't any spanking animations except some hardcoded into ZAZ Animation Pack, so didn't really bother with any specific spanking tag since there weren't any in use.

Next updates will have that tag added though.

@ercramer69 @Reesewow Thanks for pointing me at the tag editor. The hope would be to release something, but that is *very* much up in the air. This is just a secondary project, and a lot will depend on how much of a pain/pleasure Creation Kit is to work with.
