is there a way to bring up the initial messagebox where you set default hair colour again, looking for a way to change the base hair colour on an already running save

Potion of Natural Hair Colour Change. It's a debug item so you'd need to use the console or the AddItemMenu mod to get hold of it.

Edit, nvm found it in SSEedit, If anyone feels the same way I do just delete all the "isRunning" conditions from the heelsSpeedDebuff spells.
wish I realized it was there before getting all the source files to compile the script lol.

Exactly, that's it. But when you delete this condition, there is a risk to be totally unable to move under certain conditions.

I did ask about the ear status, says studs with backing, but no way to remove  them.

Click on the empty piercing box, and wait 10 seconds.

If this does not work, drop one piercing box to the ground, pick it up, and try again.

Real quick question, does anyone else get the hair growing sound stuck to where it just keeps playing over and over and over or am I the only one? This happens during the m2f swap when the hair grows out.

All of us.

From Caember's post on the 12th January:

I actually think it's a bug tbh. Had a look at the code (searching for "playypssound(25)") and this sound is called in 2 places:

  • ypsHairScript.psc - here it makes sense, as this is where the hair length gets checked
  • ypsPiercingTicker.psc - here it is problematic. It's called twice inside the function CheckPlayerGender, which is only checked if RequiredPlayerGender is female, so only from the point in time in the Dibella quest, where the change happens. So any time OnUpdate of piercing ticker runs, it will play this sound twice. I think you need to either put a flag so it only plays once at the time the gender swap happens, reset RequiredPlayerGender after the swap or just get rid of the sound in there

(I did run into this issue myself - deleting the wav file helps though)

Additionally I believe I've heard it playing constantly for natural born females who haven't started the Dibella quest ever but I'd need to double check on that.

I'm stuck on the quest " See Endarie in Radiant Raiment"

Do I have to buy something from Endarie or is there just a line of text not displayed?

I am grateful for any advice

hi, i've recently tried upgrading from 6.7.2 to 6.9.1 and am getting a crash on trying to start a new game. Reverting to 6.7.2 I get no crashes - does anyone have an idea what the culprit might be? thanks

edit: Crash occurs on 6.9.0 too. Here's the crash log. I haven't used crash logging before so any help on how to actually interpret would be appreciated. I can't tell from the log if it's an internal issue with Ysla specific to yps or an interaction between yps and slatetatsng that is causing the issue. I split the crash log into what I assume is the relevant part in the first spoiler and the rest of it in the second spoiler for readability.

Emily -

There's an action that takes place when getting piercings that has bothered me for quite a while. The various fashionistas either solder or weld the earring backs on. This is unrealistic at best. Of the two processes, soldering is the lower heat method and that requires using a soldering iron heated to 600 degrees F (or about 350 degrees C) to melt the solder. Welding uses temperatures above 1000 degrees F. Neither method could remotely be used without permanent destruction of one's ear. If a method is needed early on to prevent the wearer from removing the earrings, perhaps some sort of glue would do the trick.

Also, once the earrings can be removed as the ear holes have healed, why does the fashionista even try to lock the earrings in place? It just makes it very inconvenient for the PC to change her earrings for no apparent reason.

Hey Emily,

typo noticed.

When examining the high heels debuffs in the P menu the description of them reads "wearing heals reduces your speed by x%" instead of wearing heels. I don't know how long that one's been there. It could be a mod conflict or might have snuck in recently but perhaps you should check anyway.

I'm stuck on the quest " See Endarie in Radiant Raiment"

Do I have to buy something from Endarie or is there just a line of text not displayed?

I am grateful for any advice

Say the line you seem to understand a lot about clothes (or something similar). If her dialogue is actually pleasant and you get a compliment you have picked the right one. A welcome change from her usual demeanor.

Hi. I'm having an issue with the nylons, I can't unequip it - When I try to unequip it (after I removed the boots) It says that I'm already wearing nylons from the Stockings pack.

I tried using the stockings pack - but I got the same message - I even tried removing the nylons with console conmmands (removeitem) but same message, they are still there. If I try equipping a diffrent set of nylons I just get the same message over and over and I have to Alt+F4 the game because I can'T do anything anymore.

I'm playing on SE (AE) - can someone help me?

Though I haven't experienced the problem you're facing, I may be able to offer help.

You're mentioning the stockings pack. There are two separate means of obtaining stocking with YPS. You can buy a particular pair from a vendor of a specific color/type. Or you can buy the stockings pack, which allows you to specify the color/type when you use the stockings pack.

Emily1673 has recommended using only one option or the other, warning that trying to use both may lead to issues. From what you've written, I'm guessing you may be confronting one of those issues. You may have to back up to a save before you started using both types of stockings and then stick to one. Or possibly even start over and stick to just one. Good luck.

Hello everyone, I need your help once again.
I should talk to Yolie again and ask to get my nails don. I always get an error message.

Nail form /[kaw] almound/ red/ does not exist, or syntax error in json file.

I have installed everything and activated all .esp When I try Yolie again I get the same error message but a different nail form that does not exist or syntax error. what can I do?

There was a bug in a previous version, which should now be fixed. It might reappear, when you use a 3rd party mod rewriting YPS configuration files (there are a few of these mods around).

It was never meant to be that realistic. That feature is optional (except for some special quest scenarios).

Hi, I don't use any 3rd party mod I only use “yps thought sounds 2024-08-04”, “yps-ImmersiveFashion (6.9.1)”, “yps-SoundTexturePackage 241123 SE”

Thanks for your answer. So, if I understand correctly Endarie has a new dialogue line and I have to buy the right piece of clothing to complete the quest.

(Probably dressrevealing from the ypsItems.json, if I remember the old version correctly).

Sorry to ask again but I have a mod conflict somewhere in the loottable or dialogue branch of Endarie and need to understand the quest structure to find the culprit.

Endarie has a new dialogue line. Something like "you seem to understand a lot about clothes". She then tells you things about clothes (colour, fit, style, comfort etc). You can ask her about lots of information. When she's finished she offers to give you a nice new dress and, if you can't afford it, it goes on the Dibella fund debt (like so many other fashion features do). Then you go off to see someone else (I think it might be back to Lena).

I installed the mod and the audio for thoughts. But cant find it in my MCM. And in MO2 the only plugin in ifnd associated with yps is "yps-immersive piercing" is that the whole mod or just a part of it? I download ed the 6.9.1 immersive fashion one> i want the quests

I installed a bunch of the yps stuff and the bimbo mods as well since they nicely integrate, but now my NPCs that do your nails and such all have mismatched body and head colors?

Is the order I have them in wrong? what should I change?

I installed the mod and the audio for thoughts. But cant find it in my MCM. And in MO2 the only plugin in ifnd associated with yps is "yps-immersive piercing" is that the whole mod or just a part of it? I download ed the 6.9.1 immersive fashion one> i want the quests

Did you also download the "yps sound texture" file? The one for SE is yps-SoundTexturePackage 241123 SE.

I don't know if this is just an undiscovered conflict on my install, or an intended feature, or a bug.

I set up BoS and YPS such that it uses the new nail system, but without the need to visit the salon (i.e. "Force Bimbos to Visit Nail Salon"=No, "Bimbo Nails grow over time"=Yes, "Restrict Bimbo nail colors"=Yes).

The nails grow and equip fine, but even though the nails grow to longer than the minimum length at that stage (i.e. grows to 10mm, minimum for stage is 5mm), the message to visit the nail salon shows up and the PC does the fall animation (like it doesn't recognize that the nails are there).

Is this a YPS issue, or is it a BoS issue?
