Mister X Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I have version 3 of the SKSE Plugin Prelorder wrapper and installed it in the root folder and version 10 of the crashfix installed in the plugin folder in the SKSE folder i just wanted to know if they are supposed to say stuff or its fine if it remains empty. Well after some testing i think it's working on my old girl because loading is slightly shorter and the area loading is a bit smoother, but i have noticed one thing is that on occasion i do get a hicup and by that is when i stutter/lag with complete audio cutout for a split sec but not a big deal when i play with a heavy loadorder. You may place a d3dx9_42.log file aside its .dll (so in the same folder as TESV.exe). After you've started a game, there should be as output sth alike Searching for SKSE plugins that wish to preload. Checking "CrashFixPlugin_preload.txt". Found plugin "CrashFixPlugin" for preloading. [...] Checked [x] files total. Attempting to load "D:\Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\CrashFixPlugin.dll". Successfully loaded "D:\Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\CrashFixPlugin.dll". [...] I only have the Crash Fix plugin, though the same lines have to show up for every SKSE plugin that wants to get preloaded. So the line Checked [x] files total. should show the same number as [skse_plugin_name]_preload.txt that are in your /data folder (for MO the virtual folder).
4nk8r Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 That's because its part of HDT-SMP not HDT-PE, and is only needed for SMP. This is misinformation. There are 2 different DLL's. One for PE, one for SMP. The link I posted was for PE. The PE DLL is 50K, the SMP is 350K.

The Nexus mod page for HDT PE came almost half a year after everyone used HDT PE already. I've uploaded it for research purposes. If anyone has a problem with this DLL being here, let me know and I'll remove the attachment. 【HDT】【ANK】HDT Memory.7z
27X Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 I've already uploaded it almost a month ago from the final baidu package, it's fine.
Guest Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Well I'm finding myself in a catch 22 with the memory management of this mod as it is now. If I use UseOSAllocators=1 my game will ctd on reload 100%. If I use AlignHeapAllocate=1 it feels like I'my giving away the marginal performance benefits (mostly cell transitions) I gained over the SKSE patch, plus I get an out of memory crash when I start fiddling with hair in RM. The trade-off just isn't worth it for me. Still, very interesting project, I'm impressed with how much you clever folks squeeze out of this old bitch of an engine.

mangalo Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I just wanted to thank you for your plugin and especially the new memory management, which reduced by half my loading times
Cock Sucker Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I don't have crashfixplugin in the skse >.< anyone upload it? or paste It for me to create? unless I missed to do something?

cloudedsun Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 SKSE Plugin Preloader off the nexus site kept my skin textures from loading... It was weird. Using Win10. Anyone else have this issue? Edit: I'm not sure what caused that issue, but it's fixed now after i reinstalled the plugin and the crash fix mod. Weird.

Press [F4], this is the standard key for ENB to clean up the VRAM, which solves this issue in my case.

If your max memory allocation isn't locked to 4046 or lower that's going to happen. If you're using over 3 gigs in texture mods it will happen regardless the first time you load a save, just reload it. (or as suggested hit f4)
Deviancy Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 I've only skimmed the first post since I'm having a little insomnia right now.I haven't tested the latest Sexlab as of yet, I need to re-install the game first. But with the last version, I was getting C runtime errors and reparing, uninstalling and re-installing the C+ runtime version Skyrim uses didn't work but what did work, I used a mod that allowed me to play the game in windows mode but without borders, then another mod that allowed me to adjust the brightness. However I was left with two issues. The first issue, the game would just lock up when starting or ending a sex animation quite a bit, and the second issue, its one others used to mention on Nexus a lot, when loading a save, sometimes the game would silently crash. By silently I mean it didn't pop up an error message, it didn't create an error log under event viewer, or a problem report under reliability history under action center, it would just close down.So my question is this, will this mod help with any of those issues? And does the new Sexlab fix those lock up issues the previous version had? I figured I'd ask the second question here since this mod helps with sexlab.I dig the mod and the game but the silent crashes and lock ups drove me nuts so I had to take a "breather".

Deviancy Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 well if u mean pure vital function call then i got it from having body scaling turned on and the lastest version of sexlab he added an option to deactiva it completely soo the problem should be fixed if u turn of the scaling atleast i havent gotten anny errors Yes, it was the vital function call error. So the new version has an option that can be de-activated that resolves that? That's cool. But the bigger issue is the game locking up at the start or end of a sex animation. The AP ones did it the most so I disabled all of the AP animations, but it happens with others at times as well. But maybe the new Sexlab fixed that issue, or this mod will get rid of the issue, or at least I'm hoping that'll be the case. Getting a fresh Skyrim installation up and going is very time consuming.
cloudedsun Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 h38fh2mf This mod/plugin is a miracle worker. Just had to say this as you have fixed the crashes that have plagued me forever. Thanks once more.

I am getting this same problem too. Reducing the amount of animations installed seems to have fixed it (not something I am entirely happy about). 4nk8r Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 For all those having CTD issues, I got rid of 99% of my CTD's by switching from HDT-PE to HDT-SMP. For awhile I was using both (empty XML for PE config) for high heel support. DD mods haven't updated their boot meshes for NIO support and I'm too lazy to do it myself, but I was crashing about every 30 minutes of gameplay so I'm OK with the feet sinking into the ground for now. I'll edit the meshes later if it ever bothers me enough. I haven't tried to set up collisions with SMP, but vanilla configs included with the SMP install seemed to handle all the jiggly bits I care about (belly doesn't jiggle, however). SMP doesn't experience that crazy zooming to infinity boob effect I always saw when changing between internal/external cells while using PE. TBBP/HDT armors seem to work just fine with SMP without any changes to anything. HDT hair doesn't seem to work, however. I'm probably lacking an XML needed for this, but I don't care because my game is freaking stable! I'm using Windows 10 with v10 preloaded crashfix and all options enabled. I've disabled the Sheson memory entry in SKSE.ini. I no longer use SafeLoad. My skyrim and skyrimprefs INI's are almost 100% vanilla (ultra), with only the changes needed for ENB to work, a 4K resolution setting, and some minor UI tweaks related to MapMenu, landscape friction, arrow range, aiming, etc. I play for hours now without any crashes. I used to crash during sexlab animations, heavy combat, loading games after initial save load, fast travel, internal/external cell changes, saving games, etc. I thought I was going to have to give up Skyrim to keep my sanity, but I was too much of a LL perv to completely give up trying to fix it I'm not completely CTD free...I don't think it is possible with Skyrim...but they have become extremely rare. I have over 250 active ESMs/ESPs and my game stability has been phenomenal since I made the switch. I'm using ENB 305 with Tetrachromatic ENB and the game looks very nice. Remastered Skyrim's got nothing on me now. The only things I'm dancing with now is the string count in my saves and some stack thrashing with Papyrus. The Restringer utility has been excellent for dealing with the string issue. I even managed to pull off restringing within an existing save. I had to "clean save" those mods: use SaveTool to remove the mod from the save load game without the mod active save clean the save again to get any lingering orphan scripts and forms install the restringed scripts load the game Not supported or recommended, but I'm crazy like that. I'm taking small steps with fUpdateBudgetMS to fix the thrashing, but all other Papyrus memory and timing values are vanilla. YMMV

merryMalfunctioning Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 I posted an alpha version of a new save editor that will hopefully read savegames with the new format. It's still VERY raw, so use with caution. It's packaged with ReStringer because they share a lot of code. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2885-skyrimtools-restringer-and-resaver/

Seeing SQL errors.
