galgat Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 for me start 0.96b w/o Slaverun Comments starts just fine for me. MCM gets registered, you can configure everything and it updates values on various action, etc. so all well. But adding Slaverun Comments (only new ESP activated) triggers the error message again (papyrus container). At that point the SLSF MCM menu is empty. So I suppose that the Slaverun Comments is just not compatible anymore. I have been running comments just fine, but I did start a new slave run, and with a completely clean save file. So far I have been okay with 0.96b I am still testing, but all seems I guess as it should so far.

You may be right I did not have a problem until i quit, then started back up latter. the game would not load, until I turned of the Slaverun Comments. But it could have been something else, all I know is turning off the Slave run Comments allowed the Game to load.
Versh Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 There's no changes about SlaveRun compatibility or the elements that it uses. Are you sure that you got the updated version of the comment Plugin? What is exactly the problem that you get? Doesn't load, get stuck, crash? What the Papyrus log says?

There is a rather large space between "[...]otherwise there's a problem." and "Consistance check of Papyrus[...]". A smaller chararacter size could maybe help as the first sentence takes up 3 lines. Anyway, using the '[Debug] Reset All Papyrus Storages' fixes the error message. I saved, closed Skyrim and loaded the save again . The save now loads with no error. If that stays like that we'll see but obviously you found something... great news. the papyrus log had no reference to SLSF at all. I have a functionality question: Does the 'Player role type' option on the status page, does it change, based on the stats or is that something that should be set manually if I want to some special role play?
Versh Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 Ok, Maded some test and analysis etc. here the results: The Message is just an error of myself, fixed. Yes, also my tests show that the Debug command fix all. The error is that the command should fire automatically when updating, not manually, but I suspect that is happening because you saved after the Errors on the 0.96 instead to rollback from a safe save or cleaning the save. About your question: You mean "Pc Roletype" in the page "Fame View"? With the 0.96+ every location has it's own way to see the PC, the Fame is irrilevant. It's a thing to assist other mods to comunicate on a common ground. The idea is: If the PC is flagged as Submissive Here, it will be subject to certain interactions. But in another location could be subject to others. So far there's no interaction (i'm working on for the 0.97) For example: (only an example, there's anything like that so far) In Slaverun The PC is considered Submissive in Whiterun and will be subjected to the enforcer activity. The PC is send to DawnStar to expand Slavery Laws, So in Dawnstar the Pc is known as 'Neutral' and will not be subject to the Enforcer. Dawnstar get enslaved and Kenjoka adds a Set of the PC Roletype as Submissive, from now on the enforer will interact to the PC as submissive. So: actually is just a Fancy stuff, but useless. Is something that will be expanded in the future. The change of this value could be triggered from modders (with a confirm requested to the User to allow the changes) or overrided by the use itself with that menù. EDIT: Question, Important -> You was using a save maded after installing the 0.96 without doing the clean procedure, am I right? _____ 0.96c.rar Fixed The Message Problem. Let me know if there's any other problem.

EDIT: Question -> You was using a save maded after installing the 0.96 without doing the clean procedure, am I right? thanks for the explanation. to answer your question: yes, that's exactly what I did. it was originally a save that had never seen any version of SLSF. It initialized, loaded and MCM registered and was working. At that point the Slaverun Comments was not activated (I know this has no influence, just for completeness sake). I saved and continued to play. I stopped playing and on loading the last save (and for test loading other, older saves like the first save after activating SLSF) I got that message. So on moving forward, updating the version will always set the stats back to 0 ("[...]the command should fire automatically when updating[...]")? If there was a way to keep stats on upgrade, it would be nice, if possible... (unless of course there are relevant changes to the storage structure of the stats)... But that could of course come later...
Versh Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 I've modified the post you quoted when you was writing, sorry for the confusion, Anyway: No, if it upgrade seamless (without using the debug Button, so when the Message happend only Once) the stats didn't get touched, it only add the limit Max and Min. If you use the Debug button the stats get a complete reset. Your problem is about the 'wrong' updating procedure followed caused from the 0.96 problem. I suppose that you don't use SoulGem Oven 3. So, you lose the stats only if you use the Debug Button. Eventually you could try this: Load the Game Before you pressed the Debug Button Save (always hard save) and close Disable SLSF and SlaveRunComments Load Save Again and exit Open the Save Tool and load the save at point 5 FixScript Istances & Delete All # Save The edited savefile Re-enable SLSF and SlaveRunComments Load the Game. Now it should update without problem. Let me know if it worked. p.s. Download the 0.96c, post above

Versh Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 You and I we have a real problem with comunications XD Ok if the First works fine, problem solved. about the second: you mean No error Message and No Mcm Or No error message but Yes Mcm? All right, if the problem is solved and there's no any other issues I'll update the Fixed version on the main page. Does anyone have any other problem with the 0.96c?

No error message, MCM is loaded and available: ALL IS WELL I just tried to report one 'fresh install' (first run) and an upgrade scenario (second run). Both WORK FINE. And re-loading that new save (both fresh install and upgrade) still works, no new error messages or other quirks. sorry for being unclear, thought I had it all covered....
Sospice Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I'm getting the message "you get some fame in this location" but when I check the values there's no change. Is that how it's supposed to be? I'm using 95b.

Anyway, I suppose that you checked in the Fame view of the MCM, but are you checking the right Fame location? there's a selector, Probably you're checking the fame level of Dawnstar.

Yes, I was in Whiterun and I checked the whiterun location. Could it be a conflict? Or maybe I should clean save and reinstall?

If the problem isn't fixed Check the Papyrus Log and see if you find any line with "SLSF"

Edit; I checked previous comments and saw the one where you say "0.96c below" but all I'm seeing is the hyperlink in your sig that leads to the mod page with the word "Problem" in the title, and a download button to 0.95b. Sospice Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Updated to new version, seems to be working smoothly now. Thanks! edit; I don't know if this means anything but each time I installed this mod some of the settings in Milk Mod Economy got reset. It happened just now as well. But everything seems to work fine after I set them back..
Versh Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Uhm... there isn't any comunication between Milk economy and SLSF (so far), so: no direct access to any of it's config script / etc. Maybe it's just Skyrim being Skyrim or a side effect of the Cleaning of the save. _______ Ok, I have no more notification of issues or problem, I'll update the 0.96c as official version on the main Page, later today. If anyone knows a reason why this shouldn't happend, speak now or be an asshole...
Versh Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Ok Then, 0.97 Plans: SceneBuilder (Assistant for Scenes) Traits System Training System Background System (Only If some Writer help me about) Reduction of the Submissive Roletypes (Traits System Territory) Slaves Assignation (Not sure about, must do some other test) Does anyone has suggestion/note/question/Whatever?
kiiper13 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 its to bad only slaverun is using this, would be great to see more mods use this
