Breaking Benjamin was amazing when I saw them at Red Rocks. Would love to see this song live.

I only saw them the one time when they were one of 2 opening acts for Avenged Sevenfold. They did pretty good considering the singer was recovering from a cold and the sound crew weren't as concerned about making the openers sound any good... the first opener was Bullet For My Valentine. The music overpowered their singer as the sound crew weren't really regulating that.

As for that song live, I suppose it'd also depend on Diamante. She'd either have to be present or allow them to use her recording (which wouldn't be as good as her physically being there.... lol).

And, so to keep with the topic, since mentioned them, I'll share one of their softer songs.

And... I'll throw in another Diamante...

Do you ever THINK about what you are listening to and WHY?

I will belligerently repost until someone shows they are paying attention.  Or perhaps apathy and the path of least resistance will finally prevail and I will fall into line with the sheeple of the planet.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

@dbagain  Thank you for reminding me that my favorite band has somehow found a way to evolve "perfection"

Spoiler

We are spirit
Bound to this flesh
We go around
One foot nailed down
But bound to
Reach out beyond
This flesh
Become pneuma

We are
Will and wonder
Bound to
Recall, remember
(We are born of) one breath
One word
(We are all) one spark, sun becoming

Child
Wake up
Child
Release the light
Wake up now

Child
Wake up
Child
Release the light
Wake up now, child

Spirit
Spirit
Spirit
Spirit

Bound to
This flesh
This guise
This mask
This dream

Wake up remember
(We are) born of one breath
One word
(We are all) one spark
Sun becoming

Pneuma
Reach out, beyond
Wake up, remember
(We are born of) one breath
One word
(We are all) one spark
Eyes full of wonder

Songwriters: Justin Gunner Chancellor, Maynard James Keenan, Adam Thomas Jones, Daniel Edwin Carey

It's hard to take my eyes away and just listen . . . .

Amazing instrument and adaptation. It looks like his guitar has 10 strings, so probably enough to cover both regular guitar strings + the ones of a bass guitar. And the melody translates seamlessly. Thanks for the share !

Quite the revolted song here. I appreciated that Korn mixes a bit of relaxed singing alonside the hardcore metal one. This melodic/hardcore balance, alongside the theme and voice tone reminds me a bit of Queens of the Stone Age, with an emphasis on the metal part compared to the latter. Still, amazed that I liked that just after having liked the above Lennon-MC Cartney. ^^

To thank for the shares, I'ma contribute a bit.

PROGRESSIVE ROCK/METAL

I mentioned Queens of the Stone Age :

It's the same vibe than Korn, but with a more melodic singing, while the instrumental part is just as metalish.

DISCO/SLAPHOUSE

Also Diversity, a Youtube channel, has divided itself into several specialized ones. Problem being all the viewers are on the main one. And so they release interesting songs, but those get pretty confidential views atm :
