Hi, I have a problem with this mod and need help. 

 

Every save after I activating TID is somewhat broken, I can't load it (gave me CTD) and save cleaner can't read it.

 

If there's anything more you need to know about my game setting, just tell me and I'll describe it best I can.

 

I wish I could say love this mod like other guys.

 

some ctd was caused by the missing objects, (I'm making a version 1.81 for fixing that).

The small world himself consume lot of Ram in loading, so you need the skse patch included in the mod.

Safety load and autoload managers could help too.

@Anyone who can help - I'm currently planning to use Things in the Dark with Requiem 1.9.4.1 however this modification's custom races need a small tweak. Without such the Requiem's patcher written in Java fails on this race with a critical error and quits.

 

That's if the vampire variant of Pure Falmer is supposed to be playable.

Using Racial Compatibility would be helpful as it would deal with vanilla in game quest issues.

Hi, this is a great mod and I haven't experienced any crashes or particularly bad glitches (no CBBE bodies for the falmer armor is my only 'glitch' :) )  But I either have a glitch or am missing something in the slavers questline and that is: I can't get slaves to follow me. Is there supposed to be a dialog option for that? Do they require training? I can't get anyone enslaved to follow me, they just stand where they are enslaved.

 

Thanks for any help you might be able to give me, and again this is a Terrific mod! I hate calling it a mod, it's more like an expansion pack!

Slave you have enslaved should have a dialogue line for following you..

Hi, I just try the latest version of Thing in the dark. I got a problem in one of the slavery quest, I think is aTID1SlaveTaskMutator. After the raping my PC is supposed to go into the cage. However, once my PC got in the cage, nothing happen.

Yep, this quest was corrupted, so I rewrited it. setstage it for now, I will add a debug option in the script.

Hmmm, yeah I'm not getting that. I guess I must have mod that is conflicting with the dialog. I think the mods that I have that add dialog are UFO, Sexlab Dialogs, Sexlab Submit , My Home is Your Home and the Zaz animation pack. Now that I know there is supposed to be a dialog I ca play around with it and see if I can get the dialog to show up.

I entered the butcher place in windhelm and got defeated by chauruses. Of course, defeat and DA got triggered and sent me to blackreach for the DA's scenario. To be sure I don't have conflicts, what is intended here? The death of the player or the abduction? Should I disable DA/Defeat while playing things in the dark?

is it save if i uninstall TID 1.8 and install TID 1.81?

now im on the quest... i mean i have to start from the begining if i update it, or i can continue?

I don't use this one, but maybe it will enough.

 

 

If you don't want to use the mod, some people report that using the arrow keys on your keyboard can get to the other (hidden) dialogue options.

 

I do recommend the mod, though - it fixes the problem and allows you to customize your dialogue menus with pretty colors. :)

Better Dialogue Controls is the other one. It's a simple swf to put in the Interface/ subdirectory. The difference between EZ2C is that it's lightweight and without hair pulling configuration process.

 

I'd encourage anybody to use at least BDC, just for the convenience of it.

But I think I found a issue with DynDLOD.

 

If I have TIND enabled in my Mod list, run the DynDLOD Texgen and DynDLODgen. Enable and DynDLOD and run loot, then start a new game I get a crash loading into the character creation screen.

 

If I remove TIND and redo all the DynDLOD and start a new game it seems to work fine.

 

If I add TIND after I've run DynDLOD it seems fine.

 

Anyone else see the same thing? I was able to replicate the issue several times in Modorganizer with different mod lists.

It's due to the LOD calculation.

 

TID lod are vanilla, and dont include baseterrain. Your mod modify the LODs, so it can affect TID one very badly. No problem for Xen (no LOD for this very small smallworld).

So is there a way to fix not being able to have dialogue with creatures? I cannot get dialogue to work with falmers, chaurus or anything else in this mod... People brought it up here but I can't find the solution.... I cannot progress beyond the meeting with the gloomreach chieftain

That's a big problem. You need to speak to falmers, chaurus, and Tegoth things to advance in the mod.

Install a mod which allow creatures interactions.

 

For me, with my current installation, I got no problems.

 

For now, you can setstage that part (the falmer chieftain have several options dialogues). You can also use a follower...

Mind throwing a warning in the MOD instructions to avoid having it enabled if you run DynDLOD Texgen and DynDLOD Generation? 

Could save some people a lot of CTD issues.
