Fixed it and re-uploaded it.

So at some point, all the zaz stuff in the esp was deleted, so I had to re-add all the furniture. It turns out I missed the animation linked to the blindfold, since that's also a zaz thing.

Not sure how that happened, but it's fixed :)

Random tidbit, about 10% of views download the file and 1% of viewers follow the file.

Don't worry about that. I don't follow most files that I use, but still read the support threads. Following certain conversations leaves my notification window crowded enough as it is.

Oh, yeah. Thanks for the updated.

Downloaded, of course. :)

Yeah I've unsubscribed from most support threads, I was tired of going through 50+ notifications a day! I mostly follow files now because those get updated far less frequently than the support threads.

Hope you like it!

I know that after spending probably 24 hours or so making this single house that I kind of don't even want to use it. But I've learned a lot while making this house. I learned about scripting, furniture, landscape sculpting, and eventually, when I get around to it, I will be able to say I learned about making a quest. I've also gotten a lot better at cluttering/decorating, interior design, lighting, and navmeshing.

Edit: I keep finding little bugs though. Like the blindfold activator can be picked up by holding "e". I need to change it to something else >.<

Also getting some light flickering problems upstairs that I need to fix.

This has been fairly consistent every day since the file was released.

0.94 is up.

Added an invisible bed so the master bed can be used for sexlab animations (mentioned previously as a 0.93 fix for Deathmaw)
Removed the mountain ridge in front of the house (this was a pain because I had to re-navmesh like 4 exterior cells, did it for Kimy)
Removed the chopping block (needed the space to add...)
Added a hot spring to the back yard (need some commentary on the hotspring!)
Did some minor landscaping
Expanded the dungeon (added the ability to switch the rack with a dwemer milker, I don't really like the rack size but the milker doesn't always make sense for people unless they have milk mod economy installed, so if it's pointless furniture you can at least have a rack there)
Added an activator that looks like a blindfold next to the master bed that places the player bound on the bed (this was the entirety of 0.93a)

This is the spring:

This is the new view after cutting down a mountain ridge:

Love it!

About following, I don't do that either. I couldn't even tell you how many people are following my own mod. *giggles*

Just out of curiosity - why don't you want to use your own house? oO

Did you modified the lighting in 0.94 ? The Basement is not so dark now thats ok for me,

but have some Problems in the Bedroom expecially the small Table with the Candle!

I get tired of looking at it mostly, after spending so much time on the thing.

Yeah, that and sometimes by one of the chairs just outside the master bedroom.

Ok thanks ! The switch in the Basement is very cool ! do you plan to add more ZAZ Furniture by switching?

I hadn't planned on it, do you want more?

iam not a milkmod economy user ! but the chance to switch the furniture is very cool!

When i enter the house there are two chairs at the fireplace , i think it woud be awesome to set at the wall behind the fireplace a bind against wall or furniture Switch !

ok my english is at the end...i appologize if nobody understand my words

The problem with those wall binds from the vanilla game is it requires some work to get anyone to use it. I'll look in to it :)

This is the last update before I start working on the quest... unless there are game-breaking bugs. All my other long term goals for the house have been met :)

A lot of content in this update. Or at least, the content in this update took many hours to make... but it's not actually "a lot" in the grand scheme of things.

v0.95

Modified the lighting to remove the flickering textures upstairs
Simplified almost all of the scripts
Made the spring a little shallower to more easily allow sitting on rocks
Modified the basement to allow all furniture to be swapped for milkers or to be removed entirely by activating the models next to the ladder (this took most of the work for this update I think)
Changed the bed activator to the bedposts by the foot of the bed (I spent hours troubleshooting this problem, trying to get the blindfold to work without being havok enabled to no success, and any other object I used didn't work so well... so I used a trigger box activator thing around the bedposts and it's working great. The two bed posts actually play slightly different animations, but it's hard to tell the difference even if you know they're different)
Added an activator for the ceiling ropes (Same idea as the bedposts, but it's one of the chained to the ceiling poses that works mostly pretty well with the rope.

If you want to put this in your data\scripts folder, it will let you use your followers ("do something for me" command) on the bedpost ropes. But I haven't figured out how to get them out of the pose yet, so unless you console disable/enable them, they'll be stuck there, which is why this isn't/wasn't part of the 0.95 update.

Just an idea I randomly had while working on the quest. It also took me a stupid long time to figure out how to type cast in papyrus. This is how you do it btw lol

Event OnActivate(ObjectReference akActionRef)
Actor akActor = akActionRef as Actor

I like the house and location, the hidden cellar is a great touch. I used Defeat to get some of my favorite residents to "visit". I am guessing these 2 issues are both just the way Skyrim works and may not be changeable, first the people start telling me I am trespassing, yelling for guards and soon after going  hostile, not a biggy as I can subdue but I cant sleep in the bed as it thinks I am trespassing also. The other issue is I can lock someone in a cage but if they are hostile when I leave the cellar they appear right behind me on the cellar door and attack, if they are not hostile they will be gone and back home when I return. I tried it with Sigrid from Riverwood and Hroki from Markarth.  Thanks regardless, its been fun experimenting.

Oh and the big devices in the cellar wont line up for me, I used a follower to try those, the command option works but they follower was off to the side on every device. Is there a way to make non-followers use these items and actually equip the devices in the trunk (these show as stolen items for me btw)

That looks like to me like your PC is in a faction that conflicts with East Reach House.

Try a new character, because it is more than likely it's local to the original character you tried it on.

PC's/NPC's on furniture are never guaranteed to align properly in the current state furniture is in.

As for equipping items: Select the character and "openactorcontainer 3", other than that there is the "I'll take the display model" mod. Display model will force a naked actor while openactorcontainer will keep the NPC's outfit.

The house is player faction, the same as all the other player homes in the game. Try go into breezehome and see if you get the same problem. I think it might be your savegame or a mod no one else is running that's the problem.

Asrienda,

Regarding the Dwemer Milking machine swap out for existing furniture in the basement...

There are 2 milking machines. The one you've used, is really picky about how and from what direction, you enter it. Any chance you could either add the other machine into the mix or swap out the one you have for the other one?

I mean... I could go into the basement and disable furniture and player.placeatme a different one, but I don't know what that would do to the scripted replacement and all that stuff.
