Hey, I was hoping somebody could give me a hand. I'm not getting any crashdump files when my game CTDs.

My skse.ini file looks like this:

Spoiler

[General]
ClearInvalidRegistrations=1

[Display]
iTintTextureResolution=2048

[Memory]
defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024
scrapHeapSizeMB=384

[Debug]
WriteMinidumps=1

However, I get no crashdumps (not when I didn't make a Crashdumps folder, nor when I made the folder). Any ideas?

If there is someone who can give you useful information based on what you've posted it's not me. However, if you want to post 1) a more specific description of your random CTDs, 2) a current load order (preferably from LOOT and preferably in a spoiler), and 3) a papyrus log that includes a time when you have your CTD, I would be happy to look at that.

Well, its in the beginning , usually when I reach Riverwood with Hadvar and talk to his uncle, I roam a bit, and then it happens , some times sooner, some times later. But I think I have a guess , here I'll provide some info load order and papyrus log

Actually, as best as I can tell, it appears to be Maria Eden.

Unrelated, you might want to load the Creature Animations that come with FNIS. You get a lot of error messages from them. It's just a nuisance really but it would make your log cleaner in the future if you need to look at it again.

And have you tried any of the things CF suggests?

Yes I did, well fresh install that is then. I just hope there will be good HDT for SE, the only reason I'm stuck with oldrim is good HDT and mods to it, and all the kinky stuff too :)

The one you need to do is install ENBoost. You learn nothing from fresh installs which, incidentally, CF does not suggest, so basically you have not done any of the suggestions.

A properly set up Legendary Edition is very stable and problem-free. SE is no more designed to support a couple of hunfred plug-ins than LE is and if you do not know the basics of modding LE then you will just port your ignorance to SE.

If there is anything you do not understand about installing ENBoost then post your question here.

Read this before you start:

First, I do have ENBoost, second disabling ME and also AlignHeapAllocate in CrashFix.ini seemed to work, but it only delayed the crash with the same message. Also enabled UseOSAllocators becouse I have the SKSE plugin Preloader.

 And another thing, what is these on console menu pic below

So I'm guessing is crashfix that causing my random CDTs outside?

they are still coming thinking we can do something about their usual ram ctd because their settings are bullshit

Which reminds me.

VideoMemorySizeMb=7936

That looks too little for a machine with 16GB of RAM plus whatever the graphics card has. So I would repeat my earlier advice and say read (or re-read) the S.T.E.P page on ENBoost.

Yeah , about that, I thought this is only for the graphic card. I finally used VramSize tool and have run the dx9 and it calculated i can use 16140 minus the reserve I fixed the numbers there.

Anyway the problem is gone, but I doubt that this was the real problem... maybe it was that I forgot to put enbhost.exe in my game dir.   .... ohh the shame :(

For everyone with this issue:

TESV+0x00866d63

Maybe others can be "fixed" with this too.

Read this and follow instructions: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3924850-corrupt-saves-strcount-0xffff-ctd-on-load/

TL;DR

Save File is corrupt and cannot be used anymore.

To Prevent this from happening for future saves download followig mods:

Tools (if you don't get what they're supposed to do, read from the first link) :

That is not an 'issue'. It is a memory address and the name of its occupant. It tells you absolutely fuck all.

Crash Fixes along with ENBoost is one of the most recommended tools in the tech support section.

I'm having this issue in my crashdump. Does anyone know where the actual culprit is?
