Maybe you can tell us where you put the guards outside of whiterun to so we can contnue playing skyrim. as you SHOULD know without the guards you cant enter Whitzerun coming first time from riverwood.

i really like those modders who destroy Major functions of Skyrim WITHOUT EVEN NOTICE IT !

 

Maybe you should install USLEEP and stop blaming pop. The guards were properly placed in all my playthrough.

 

 

Yes the guards were there on my latest play through with POP ...so chill.

 

 

No problem with missing guards here either

I can also confirm what others are saying. I used the Helgen start in my mod compatibility test game. Guards were standing at the gate, as they should. I used ASLAL to set my mods and then proceeded with vanilla Helgen quest from the cell.

It comes definitely from POP and nothing else.

 

When i unlock the gate by console and enter the City, two guards are Walking down the street, zoning out of the gate and, after follwing them, they take their place in front of the gate. the speechcraft spending dialogue about the closed citygate is ruined by this.

 

this implements that ALL Guards in the game can be affected by this, destroying every quest involving guards, maybe the civil war and of course the mod itself !

Then how come it only happens to you?

You're talking nonsense.

POP does not touch guard AI packages at all.

My guards are just fine, by the way, so yeah it's you not POP.

I have a friend in the Whiterun Guard Battalion!

 

For a modest fee, he will pop out of the shadows at Whiterun, and yell at you "Go to Jail, Go Directly to Jail, Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect 200 septims".  He'll also throw in a free collar, and a gratuitous enrollment into his class 'Creative Alternative Uses for a Broomstick 101' ...

 

Chill out, it's almost certainly not Inte's mod that is your problem.... :P

I've used this mod with both popular alternate start mods at some point or other, and never had a problem with missing guards. The only time I've ever run into an issue with them was that time I quicktravelled to Whiterun after initiating that quest rather than running up to the gates, and that wasn't even related to POP.

 

If you really think it might be caused by POP, try disabling it in your mod list and loading a previous save to see if they behave normally now (if they do, try reenabling POP and trying again for kicks; sometimes things just run weird and trying again runs fine). Since most people don't have an issue though, it's either another mod (in which case I'd suggest trying the 50/50 method, or straight up disabling any and all mods that might have any remote relation to guards or townie NPCs and slowly reactivating them until the problem reappears), or you have a couple mods that are conflicting strangely. There could also be a lot of scripts trying to run which are delaying the guards (not sure how likely that is, but I know Skyrim can get weird when you overload it).

Another problem I'm seeing with the latest patch (other than the invisible pillory (only when in it)) is that sometimes other NPCs are able to unlock and open the cell doors while sandboxing.

Try the POP idle poser with 'Pillory' keyword/tag and note the idle names for the missing pillories.

Was having a guard walk into the Solitude cell before the door was closed, when walking out leaving it open.

Just had a stay in the Dawnstar jail (I like where the cage gets put), couple of wonky things:

 

I was walking along when Bounty hunters teleported in to grab me, and I chose to surrender. I have the Wait option enabled for followers, yet after I was brought to jail, processed, and brought out to the cage, there was Lydia following along. She wasn't arrested or anything, she just followed me wherever I was brought (including into the cage), in full armor. Missing her shield, weirdly enough. No idea where that got off to. She even hung out in the cell afterwards, watching things go down there.

 

Also, while the cage situation was happening, a couple of the gathered crowd wound up inside with me (along with Lydia).

That is really odd for Solitude since there is nothing in the cell. I was expecting Riften, but not Solitude. Not sure what I can do there.

1. Yes, the new follower behavior AI and functions need more testing to be sure.

     So the 'wait' option was enabled, what about the 'Enable Follower Arrest'?

 

2. The gathering inside the cage issue, it is a Skyrim AI package issue. I should only happen on the first couple of arrests, tho. Do you remember how many times were you arrested with POP 8m?

That is really odd for Solitude since there is nothing in the cell. I was expecting Riften, but not Solitude. Not sure what I can do there.  

 

Might be slave girls that's causing it. Anyway, tried all the poses. The character animations all play correctly, but sans pillory (for all the idles). X-cross anims DO play with x-cross though.

Urr, after doing a clean save and following the instructions, everything is working fine...only that I'm only getting the MCM for the original Prison Overhaul- nothing for the patches...

Patch options are in the Prison Overhaul MCM.

Some more issues to report.

 

1. Camera zoom level is getting stuck - not sure exactly what the cause is, but restarting the game does not fix. Earlier in the thread, someone suggested using a crafting station to fix, but that's not exactly an option while jailed. ;)

 

2. Message indicating follower has left your service is shown despite settings having the follower arrested as well.

 

3. If a player has more than 1 follower, the other followers should either leave service or be jailed as well (could leave all but a randomly selected one in jail during punishment so there's no issue with crowding the punishment areas), but instead continue to follow player.

 

4. During the parade scene, the follower has a hood placed on their head at the same time as the player, and the scene with the jailer has them take off, then put back on the hood. Furthermore, hands are left un-bound during this scene.

 

5. With tag-based animations enabled, threesomes are used exclusively when a follower is present.

Yes, I know that.  They are not showing up in the Prison Overhaul MCM.  The MCM currently looks like the vanilla Prison Overhaul MCM without Patches.  I have everything installed properly, followed the directions for the clean save, and none of the Patches options in the MCM have shown up.

1. I can give it a shot, but using tfc in the console works, but doesn't fix the fact that zoom is stuck. I also tried using customizable cameras options to no avail.

2. Got it, so the message is not actually from POP.

3. Suggesting that it might be able to by:

a. Dismissing all but one: this could be randomized.

b. Arresting all of them, but distributing them around various jails if there is not enough room. Only one follower is randomly picked for the daily activities.

4. DDe is installed, but using POP bindings.

5. Maybe not all at once. Right now it's effectively limiting the selection a LOT. Furthermore, it often picks animations that have the follower unbound for the duration, or has the aggressor bound. For variety's sake, it would be nice if it the aggressor could simply take turns, or simply pick one, but not the other.

2. No, the follower will leave your service when arrested with you.

3. I don't use more than one follower at a time, so implementing support for multiple followers is not going to happen.

5. You might want to try playing with the tags, see if that yields different results. See the OP for tag location in SL.
