For me worked: go on the pirate ship, talk to Mankara (if i remember right). Other words: talk to high priestess on the ship. Its really strange: she gives u this quest in sanctum and u must talk to her on the ship. wtf O_o 1

0wnyx Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 i wish i could mod my game up so it would look just like in the pictures... at the moment i have red traingles all over the place combined with shitty standard graphics despite 20 mods... i guess i reinstall and try one by one... however i dont predict it will work at the end... its just to much stuff u have to be awere off to make it work.

Don't forget the dependancies.

I´m at the infiltration quest, and about to enter "ahab´s" house as ordered by the quest text. but when i´m inside, nothing happens, i saw the invisible lurker, tried the door to the temple(wich is a dead-end due to that spikey thing, that is in the way...) what is to be done next ? or did i miss something ?
MetZwerg Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 I was in the wrong house... the quest marker was leading me wrong.... Spoiler by te way did you know, that you can early get rid of the parasite if you go to an enchantment table and choose to destroy it to learn it´s magic ?

Yeah, markers have some problems in skyrim : they lead to the shortest path... or it's blocked here.

But i do need some help. i am at the second last quest, the one which requires enslaving susana and the thalmor spies thing. Done with the enslaving part but simply cannot find where these spies are. If someone did, please revert back asap as this is breaking the flow of the quest. Thanks in advance.

The thalmot spie lives in one of the houses, in the village.

Thanks for the reply but as it turns out I had to speak with this hidden lurker in the house to get the information. Anyways the quest is complete now, moving to your next mod, things in dark, already got an issue there!?
Guest Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Finally managed to play the mod! I just LOVED the beginning. The scary feeling, the noises and the "appering" suddenly (don't want to spoiler). But the revenge quest was kind of ... meh. Especially the part in the "other world". Just fighting through hordes of the same two enemies, the only diffenerence is that there are even more behind the next corner. Fewer enemies but more of the "aaah, is there something behind me?"-feeling. But I have to say that personially I don't like it when you use a teleporter/door and then there are like seven enemies right in front of you. Maybe that's just me. My stile is more sneaky. And maybe the pro-cult part is more exciting than the simple slaying of the "bad guys" as a revenge. I don't know how to make it better anyway and see the point that the focus of this mod lies at the supporting of the cult. So no offence. Just something to think about (maybe for the next questmod?) After reaching Insmouth the first time I get freezings every minute or so for a few seconds. Is that just me? Other safes work just fine and my PC is pretty new. Maybe it's just that one tiny bit that f**ks up everything. The typical Skyrim problem, that the game gets instable if you play too long. Oh, almost forgot: the way I played FTD I got only a few sex scenes. But that was good! I don't like sexlab story-mods where you just fall from one bed into another. This one had a great balance! Good job!
Shivax Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 At the beginning of the mod when I enter the town the Pirate is attacking me and just after that guard and some npc becomes hostile towards me as well, no idea what is going on.

It miiight have something to do with Ultimate Deadly Encounter aka Sand of Time. Since they have spirit system (an invisible entity used for their spawn system), since in other occasion, vanilla npc also behave the same thing (but it's quite rare). I guess it might be because the town is not marked safe from the mod or so. It gave me trouble to talk to people outside the town, but I figured it out to deal with it somehow. I can't confirm if SoT causing this as uninstalling SoT is impossible mid game. Are you going to update this?

The only thing doable is using both the mods, and make a patch to make the FTD exterior cells "sure".

Because of this I'm hooked on the story of the mod itself but also the Shadow of Innsmouth by H.P Lovecraft so I have you to thank for that ^_^ Keep up the fantastic work! Edit: i forgot to ask. I typed in help ftd and I saw aFTDRadiantCultist (F508679A) Serving the Lord of the Deeps. How can I activate the quest? I finished the priestess path and I don't know if I did something wrong. I tried typing some console commands but nothing works.
chris_neet Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 hello, i can't progress in the story, i'm at the point where you need to speak with the jarl of downstar and the thane in the blue palace (forgot his name) the point is,i speak with them but the objetives of the mission remains the same, i return with the argonian who gives the player the new mission but there is no new goal. i have to say that all of the npc inside the blue palace and inside the jarls house have the same option dialogue "something something... we need to talk." can somebody help? i loved the story so far btw, thanks
