Delzaron Posted February 4, 2017 Author Posted February 4, 2017 I might have found a problem related to this: While travelling to Solstheim and reading the Black Book "Untold Legends" my character was transported to Ryelh instead of Apocrypha, right into the chamber of Dagon. So its not possible to enter the Untold Legends realm. I wanted to keep the mod installed even after I finished it because I like the port town, but I probably have to remove it in order to get the Black Books going . Yes, that's an interesting problem ! I used blackbooks for FTD too. Maybe the problem is here...
Sunnstor Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 I'm currently analyzing the mod in the CK to get to the source of the problem. But its pretty confusing since a lot of the BlackBook3 Content seems to have been copied for From the Deeps. In this process one of the references now point to the Ryelh reference of the Black Book Warp Marker instead of the original dungeon. I removed several edits from From the deeps to see if it restores the original book mechanism, but so far no luck. But if I remove the DLC2ApocryphaBook03Warp001 from the cell, then the book does not teleport at all. So the problem is somehow connected to the DLC2ApocryphaBook03Warp001 marker. I just have to figure out where this is used ... Update: Ok, the bad news: This bug is permanently. Even removing the mod does not fix it, so by activating From the Deeps, it is not possible to enter the "Untold Legends" book. DLC2BlackBook03RefDATA is used by DLC2ApocryphaBookMarkerTrigger. And this has been copied. So the DLC2BlackBook03RefDATA now seems to be linked to the From the Deeps version of the Trigger. I try to create a fix, if I get to how this works ... Update 2: I made a very crude hotfix to counteract the problem if the savegame is already corrupted .
Archmage94 Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 Hey anyone know who exactly you're supposed to ask about the spies? Cause i've asked everyone I could find and they all had the same response
Delzaron Posted February 20, 2017 Author Posted February 20, 2017 Hey anyone know who exactly you're supposed to ask about the spies? Cause i've asked everyone I could find and they all had the same response Try the citizens, the cultists, and the lurkers.

Darkon47 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Any chance of adjusting the slavery route to hook into simple slavery instead?
Delzaron Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 Any chance of adjusting the slavery route to hook into simple slavery instead? That's already done : if you have simple slavery, it will occur the simple slavery player sell scene. If not, you got the carriage crash. If you have TID, player is sold to ibn falmers...
Darkon47 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 all right, last time I did it it just went straight to TID instead, maybe TID has priority? though simple slavery includes TID now, so you might want to reverse that.

Bloodhhunter666 Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 - Then Skyrim completely uninstalled and reinstalled and new game started. - Only the MODs, Tool and so on installed for "From the Deeps 2.52" are needed. - But it did not succeed, there were always the same problems in the same places.- I only played halfway, most of the time I had to cheat, because nothing has worked. Had no more desire for this MOD.

The invisible wall ar the door prevent you to go in the slaves cell whitout get the good stage. The tentacle object blocking the temple main door is normal : it will be disabled when you get the first mission outside as cultist.
Manah Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 For starters, to the mod creator(s), thank you kindly for your hard work, this seems very intriguing and I'm looking forward to trying it. I have a question, if any of you would be so kind to answer it? I saw a comment the other day of someone saying something along the lines of 'this mod is very nice but I wouldn't be using it on a full playthrough of the game' (as opposed to just installing the mod, playing through it, and then uninstalling it, I imagine). He seeme to be implying it might cause problems to do so or something. Any idea why that is (WITHOUT SPOILERS, PLEASE! I BEG OF YOU! )? Does it cause problems in the long run? Does it prevent you the freedom of continuing your adventures once you're done with From the Deeps? I'd really like to have it be just one part of my adventures among others, but at the same time I am planning a full playthrough of my heavily modded game and I don't want a mod that will stop me from going through it all on it. (Though I would play it regardless afterwards.) Just wanna be sure before I start... thanks for your input in advance! Manah

Manah Hi No, the mod don't block you for continuing the game. - as cultist, you're free to continue your adventure in skyrim as you want. Only Insmouth is affected. - as slave and rebel, you destroy the cult. Only Insmouth is affacted. So, it's ok. TID and AFS have more impacts, because they make you friend with falmers and forsworns, respectively.

Well, that's good to know. Thank you very much for your help and have a great evening.

Manah Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 For AFS and TID, you just need to remove the factions since you finished the mod. I have to admit I am intrigued by AFS, but wasn't TID restricted only to evil characters? ...I have no interest in playing as someone evil, which is the one reason I didn't try it, even though it looks very cool.

Not evil... you just serve one of the most evil god on Skyrim... but you will also live in an interesting city.
Manah Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Not evil... you just serve one of the most evil god on Skyrim... but you will also live in an interesting city. Granted, but I find it difficult to reason being a servant of one of the most evil gods in Skyrim, and not being evil myself. I guess I'll have to try and see. ...Alright, I'll give it a try then. If we don't have to be absolutely evil to play it, then I might as well try. Thanks for the input and your quick aswers!
Tohsaka Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 How do I proceed with "Ask the townspeople about the spies in town"? Everyone in town says they don't know anything about it, and when I found Nasura myself in her house she has no unique dialogue.

Fiana was in the room but neither of the 2 had any dialogues. maybe that's the problem. I've encounter issues before with other mods for using SetStage.
