I talk to a girl, then nothing happens. And I can get out of the cells, it is not closed (sorry for the English) I am also having this issue, and tried SetStage AFS1Begin 160 and 165 and not having any luck.

Pleiasingxy Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Hey, its me once again, just wanted to say I can't complete the Following Katalia quest, the quest doesn't consider I found her, and when I talked to gleba I was teleported somewhere, I try to talk to armin and nothing happens, I tried to speak to Gleba and still nothing happened, manually going to the consoe and typing "setstage AFS1FollowKatalia 90" leads me to no stage. And I am stuck(everyone, even the priestess is in place)
dechurch Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Skirmishing for dummies is still broken for me. After Armin's speech they just stand then and sheathe their weapons, and no nords by the tree. And the Princess of Wolves quest doesn't advance after I talk to Genserie. Whats the quest name and stage I need to set to get by this? Edit: setstage 20 seemed to advance to the "find the pack stage", but Moro is still not selectable when it advances to "talk to moro" and the one wolf still goes into a sex animation. The scene is triggering with Aku and Moro. Is it supposed to be Aku and Romula San? Then when I setstage to 40 and talk to Romula San, Aku and Moro get funky again. The animals of the valley go crazy when they see me. Not a big deal, just alittle annoying when they get in the way trying to run. Edit: all through ethrane's lesson a fucking deer ran back and forth through the scene in a panic because I was around. And i couldn't run it down and kill it because player control had been taken away. By the time it was over I wanted to slaughter every animal in the valley. Not sure that's the reaction you really want. 2nd Edit: when Katalia gets done with her turn, Ethrane goes into her normal dialog tree and control is not given back to the player. I assume it's supposed to be my turn after Katalia? (For what it's worth, I really hate when mods take away player control.) Also, do i have to manually start the main quest to become a new shaman? If not, who do i talk to? All I seem to be able to do is get side quests. I've gotten Katalia to teach me two spells. That's about it. Edit: seststage AFS2NewShaman1 30 seemed to do the trick.

Still having the same problem on the first quest (of note, I don't lose player control during stage 60, and for whatever reason AFS1FollowKatalia.start() doesn't fire after it completes the quest). I may see about trying it on a brand new game this weekend because it's weird that certain pieces are just /not firing/ at all.

Edit : Ok, i have a little time between two classes... I will test some quests now. My results : Just a job : Only problems are Ariovist forcegreet and Katalia jail door walking. Objectives works fine (Objective 30 dont design Zenoby, but Shae). Following a forsworn girl : no problems. Meeting Tribes : Segeste script corrupted ; it replay the beheading scene if Kalydi is not dead. Odoacre scrip problem. Skirnish for dummies... not work after Nords death. Yngride . yngride dont travel Raiders : No problems. Brenus : objectives and stages 40 and 50 problems Ravena ; Ravena dont travel. Player slave package (set AI driden true) not good . the player cant do anything.

The forsworn in this mod are "only" renamed vanilla forsworn, so all NPC should suffer from that bug. Your problem is the body texture isn't 100% compatible with your body type. The only two ways to fix that is change your body type or change your body texture. Or hope to find a compatability patch to adjust your body texture to the body type ...

Suffice to say encountering aggressive animals or humanoids without player control and nude is rather ... unpleasant. Additional finding. The beds in the youngs cave do not give a rested bonus. In fact I use Realistic Needs and Diseases and after sleeping I'm tired, so at the very least these beds do not count.

I love my character the way I made her, a petite, pale skinned, red head. I don't know why I am tempted to change the way she looks everytime I see a preset I like on the nexus. Geneserie always had a grey face? I didn't notice.

I dont test that... interesting bug. Did you know how Veladarius solve it ? In Cd i believe the problem was that ZAZ pose was not ending as it should. Which is strange because you do not use ZAZ poses, even more i failed to notice you using any kind of debug.sendanimationevent on player during afs1Begin, afs1FollowKatalia and afs2begintribes. I'll look into it some more. i'm curious myself what is causing that (this might be a good thing to know). Btw for Controlling Old Hroldan quest replaced GetQuestDone FreeFromOldHroldanB conditional with GetStage FreeFromOldHroldanB == 100 and it seems more reliable.

I don't think there's a definitive solution but players who get hit by this can try reverting to an earlier save, using the console command "paycrimegold 0 0" to clear any hidden bounties, sprinting into the table or rack ... yeah, it's screwy. Players who get hit with this should also try Google.

Just confirmed. Workbench, Tanning Rack, Grindstone and Carriage play both starting and ending animation. The direct Forge does not, there I actually can craft stuff. I didn't came across an alchemy table and/or enchanting table to test these yet though. Judging by the fact only this mod and sisterhood of dibella got added between my last playthrough and now and last playthrough it worked I blame this mod (with or without a mod conflict) to fuck something up. Somehow. Reverting back to a savegame which didn't have the shaman ceremony finished seem to circumvent this issue though. Next edit. I seem to have found the culprit quest. In 151 I had "The girl and the wolf" bug out on me. I denied to can help and pointed to Kat at which point player control was disabled and the character walked out of the den. After that I loaded another save and didn't touch that quest until now. In every save before that point the animation in question work, in every save after (although I reloaded) they don't. I just tried that quest in 152 and until now it seems to work.

Reverting back to a savegame which didn't have the shaman ceremony finished seem to circumvent this issue though. Which is one of the fixes I mentioned in my post about how this is a Skyrim bug. I have tested unowned bed in Youngs Cave and elsewhere and they apply the Rested bonus. Then again, I'm not using any mods that alter vanilla beds. Concerning crafting stations, I tested racks, alchemy tables, and enchanting tables and they all work just fine. Again, it's a Skyrim bug not AFS.

Take note as well that aqqh is hit with the similar bug, and he tracked it down to an entirely different quest from the two you've identified. Please do spend time googling this. I went from "noticed it" to "tested and confirmed it" ... For two I originally had this shoved together with the bed bug I'm experiencing. If you're up to reading you can notice I do not say a word about beds when I found the actual culprit for me. In fact the trigger for the unavailability of my beds still eludes me. Lastly I do not have a mod which alters vanilla beds. If you're talking about Immersive Beds you are wrong to the max, as it merely activates a script to change equipment and plays an animation before using the unaltered vanilla bed. The only thing that is altered is via optional file exchange Hearthfire Coffins (buildable in hearthfire houses) with the useable version from dawnguard which have sleep animations. In fact the mod does nothing more than to play an animation that is present in the base game.

Your childish insults and failure to posit any explanation of what he could possibly have done to create these bugs tells me that is precisely what he would be doing. The facts are simply that the crafting stations bug is a known Skyrim issue. You can't simply ignore that. As for the beds, I tested them and they work. You're using a mod that affects beds. I don't. You can quibble about the meaning of the word "alter" all you want, but you can't simply ignore that fact either.
mybrainhurts Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 There is one bug for me that has persisted over the last couple versions of this mod. The quest AFS1FollowKatalia never starts on its own. I went to the CK and changed Katalia's alias to "Optional." Going back to the game and then starting the quest manually works. But none of the quest aliases fill on their own.
corval55 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I went back to a previous save and this time when I was supposed to follow Genserie to show Romula that She isn't a wolf, I highlighted the ambush quest instead and started running towards the marker for it. before I got very far, I got the message that I had completed follow Geneserie. I got the loading screen again, but this time I appeared in front of Odoacre. the quest had moved on to presenting Romula to Him. I talked to him but I could only ask him to talk about the tribes or ask him what I can do now. what should I do?
