Theodore Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016  You should add so many new animations, please update  NSAP is on hiatus because another mod is there that let more people add new animations easily. as such adding more here is not useful at all  SLAL = http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2488-sexlab-animation-loader/  to find the packs for it and a guide to make new packs (note that the guide isn't an installation guide, but for pack authors) http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2506-sexlab-animation-loader-guide-and-packs/   SLAL requires SL 1.60+ and some of us still prefer the more stable SL 1.59c.  So adding more here is indeed very useful !

If the next version's non-backwards compatibility were to brake every other mod on the site. The version would still be stable. Like authors allways say, it's a framework, it doesn't do anything on its own. It's allways the other author's fault for not coming back to skyrim regardless how they moved on with their lives.

Â
Theodore Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Ok! Before this gets any more misunderstood, you are correct I have not tried SL 1.61 but I did try SL 1.60 when it first released.  I agree it would be a lot of extra work to keep updating SL 1.59c and yes I know you said this on a few occasions.  The point of my post was in response to this part of your post "as such adding more here is not useful at all".  My intent was not to rock the boat etc, but to simply point out that it would indeed be useful to add more anims to SL 1.59c however I completely understand thing's have moved on.  So to put this post to rest I would like to thank Rydin and all modder's who continue their hard work and dedication to their respective mods and the community.Â

I appreicate what you are saying that you feel it would be useful but with a limit of 128 animations and NSAP 2.8.2 has 120+ without anything new being added (and there are aboit another 75+ animations out there not in 2.8 2) it's time consuming as an author to continue working on an older version when a new version is out and with a mod that does it better. Sorry.

Sorry. Â Exactly, Sexlab 1.59C was already past the number of animations it could support with the old version of NSAP so it is almost pointless to add more animations to it. Â In fact the number of animations available has now reached the point that some people have overrun the greatly expanded limit in Sexlab 1.60+ and it will have to be expanded again!
Skyrimlover4ever Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Hy Rydin, don´t be be frustrated or exasperated about my following comment. About one year ago, when I starting to use Selab and NSLA, I was a totaly rookie with LL-Mods and.... adding things without Nexus. (Meanwhile I use ModOrganizer). With your great help and support, and understand so lot more, and at last I did it very well, install and do everything without any exaggerated difficulties. All new animationen updates from LL specialy the NSLA updates I handlled easy, `couse of your help. So I had such a great time and pleasure to play skyrim with the human urge. But now, with the new "self-building-animation-renaming-adiing-anything" I really must quit and get out of new animationen. By the way: I love your spanking anims  It is not becouse I`m to lazy or uncomfortable, no, it is just becouse I have not the complete english vokabular (even in computerwords), and I also have not the Computer-knowing to make things like this. Your guide is really helful, I translated with machine translating all the things, but at last, - I struggle and stumble, and give up. It was such a great time, when you did that job for me (u)s, just a user, and  - maybe now looser. I don`t wanne sing in the same song:  "request to continue the NSLA"  I respect your decision and thank you again for your time you spend at NSLA. ;) So I go on, killing some draggons, imperials and other mofos and after this, I will have some pleasure and continue with my old stuff. Greeting from germany  Â

volfin Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 It's stupid not to upgrade to 1.6x. There's literally no mod that worked with 1.59 that doesn't work with 1.6x. 1.6x is fully backward compatible.

True, except I have found some issues with rough animations being used in consensual/loving situations and vice versa when the specific animation was not called for, even without the option to allow rough animations at any time. This might be an issue with mods not specifically calling on ZAZ animations, like most generic rape mods. I've yet to be raped with an actual rape animation since changing from 1.59c in either Defeat or Submit. Other than that, I have not found any compatibility issues.

barak43 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 well, the bug appear for example with Deviously Cursed Loot, Slaverun, and i got it with Prison Overhaul and most mods that use the restrict to bound animations. from what i understand, if the bound animation is called direct (by name or reference) it works without a problem. but if's called by the restricting feature, it will bug.

Since I am currently in this thread anyway: Most DD related mods call bondage animations indirectly, by letting the Framework replace "normal" animations on the fly with the bound variants in ZAP. This mechanism is currently broken and needs to be fixed, ideally in ZAP. It could be fixed in DDI as well, but the DDI maintainer is nowhere to be found at this time.
