Elwin Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Nice mod idea, this may sound complicated (at least for me that i suck at modding lol) but will it be equippable?, I have this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13995/? called Mystic tails where you can equip the tail and the tail still is animated, it's probably more simple than i think, i wish i could tell xD

And developing new addons is fairly easy, and both me and Smurf will be available for any help anyone might need. @Derp Thats also one of the features of the mod... to avoid having equippable penises... At least for me, equipping a penis is a very disturbing idea! not to mention picking them up from odd places such as barrels. The mod is scripted so it always equips it for you whenever needed. Also, the penises are hidden in the inventory, so no equpping, no looting, no enchanting!!! @Setekh Well, 4th June was the date Smurf told me he would get back (he's taking some short vacation or something). He expressed that he would like to be around upon the mod release (which is natural), thats why we are waiting for 4th June. I think its reasonable, after having so many nights staying up late to develop it, to ask to be around
Phygnos Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I anxiously await its release. I've been screwing around with virtual penises (heh) but I can't really commit until this is released. Apart from various "normal" penis models, I want to add fantasy stuff like in the picture I've attached to this post. [[The base meshes and textures don't belong to me, I just converted and altered them. Gnin created the left penis models for Garry's mod. The middle-right one is from a previous version of SoS, and Futamagus created the one on the far right for Oblivion. I can't remember where I got the "equipment" from, although as a funny note it turns out that chainmail bikini tops are great ball protectors when shrunk. I need permissions to share them for when I'm ready to actually get them in-game, although I'm not sure if the creators wanted their wings or horns to be added to penises.]] Also, if anyone knows how to get penises to properly change color along with the skin please let me know. Even when I copy/paste nifscope data it doesn't seem to work. What am i doing wrong?

VectorPlexus Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 yes, I was just fixing some minor issues on some scripts, I'm gonna start to prepare the compiled installer, update the readme/description and should upload it in a while (dont expect to take more then 1 hour). The Revealing Armors module (which is going to be maintained and curated by Aoki) will only be available late in the night or maybe only tomorrow. We're on GMT/+1 GMT.

I assume there shouldn't be both regular and average, as I don't see mention of the 2 being separate anywhere. Assuming they are different though, the description and picture don't make that clear, as they are identical. Selecting Default -> Hairy -> Regular resulted in an install failure. "A problem occurred during install: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. The mod was not installed." Doing Average instead installed fine.

I forgot to add screenshots for the average (regular and muscular are basically the same, they are just morph targets and have different Normal Maps). will do those screenshots ASAP. Hmmm... I dont know why that error happens, I was assuming it was because it wasnt downloaded directly from NMM, because I have another mod that has that kind of installer and was having the same behaviour. The problem was gone once I redownloaded it though, so I was assuming it would be fixed. temp fix on NMM installer fail:- try a second time.- should install fine- quit NMM- relaunch- activate addons and use this order:- Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm- Schlongs of Skyrim.esp- Addons ESPs

Pfactor Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 just installed it to test. After numerous CTD when the male NPC would strip I finally got it to work. There is a hole where his schlong should be. Also I don't see any MCM support for the mod. Is that for later?

NMM message: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Mod was not installed." I got the same message and NMM would crash. Then I tried with only the 1st two options and it installed.... with nothing in his pants. See above image.

NBIemand Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 The disappearing schlong seems to be caused by not manually activating the esp and esm files. I can imagine the "object reference not set to an instance of an object" thing has something to do with this as well, but have not tested that. EDIT: for some reason I cannot seem to get people to get out of their underwear. the underwear item can be unequipped, but that doesn't seem to actually change anything.

As for the hole, have you checked if you have the ESM/ESPs loaded??? Okay, I just have bad luck. Soon as I saw this message I checked NMM and the files weren't checked. I clicked the box, NMM crashed. This rarely happens when NMM installed something but doesn't check the boxes. Tried out in game. It's rather disconcerting watching it grow.. especially the 100 weight ones. But it's not consistent with the SexLab animations. Sometimes it's erect, sometimes flaccid. Also it seems to be interfering in any group sex options in the dialogue for other Sexlab mods. Irresistible Attraction spells still work on 3 actors but dialogue does not. Edit: tried it with an Argonian and I've come across a new problem all my own making. I'm using a custom penish mesh for Argonians and Khajit I got from here, so the result is obvious. Also, the 2nd frame you can see how the new schlong is limp during the sex animation.

All its needed is to relaunch NMM and then activate them. As for the installer, I just cant figure it out whats wrong... the problem only happens when the last option is enabled, and the XML looks exactly the same as all other options, so I'm at lost here...
VectorPlexus Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 @Crusher Do you mean Regular and Muscular perhaps?? They do overwrite them, because they both share some textures. Muscular shape uses same textures as regular, Only normal map is different, so for performance issues, it uses the textures in the Regular Folder. That way the game only needs to load Diffuse, Specular and SSS once for both shapes. Why outdated?? There's no reason to think so imo. Only problem is that there arent specific animations for a penis rig to fit properly other anims maybe. But that can be added later with time maybe. Thats also an advantage/disadvantage of SOS, since the penis has to be animated independently from the Character. The Obvious advantage is that is very modular. The disadvantage is that some tricks may be required for doing specific penis animations for specific character animations and sync them.
