The easiest way to keep track of sex acts is to use the Misc tab in the Sexout MCM to keep count of consensual/rape sex acts. Take a note of the count each tiem you get onto the yard. You get the powder ganger perk after 50 sex acts with powder gangers, and there are other perks for the different factions. I think it's 75 for the NCR, 100 for the legion.

 

You can set sex animation time to 1s in the Sexout MCM to speedrun a scenario.

 

Vault 19 tip; hack the console ASAP then talk to Epstein and pass a speech/medicine check to progress. Bring companions, especially if you want to escape violently. If you can't pass the speech/medicine check with Epstein then it's implied in the quest notes that there is another ending if you wait long enough for Epstein to fall in 'love'. I wasn't patient enough to wait however long it would take to get that ending, so I just did the speech checks and then escaped.

 

It's flavour text, after your bomb collar comes off he has no control over you. The evil male NPCs in Tryout are written as a very specific kink of psycho abusive control freaks, they all talk like that for intimidation purposes. Makes it more fun to assassinate them afterwards lol.

 

A few more tips. The fiend quests for Violet, Motor-Runner and Cook-Cook are fine. However the Driver Nephi questline has a forced addiction/whoring and caps payment mechanic, permanent withdrawal that can't be conventionally cured, and will force you to pay 8-10K caps for a cure. Also the cure doesn't work as intended, I had to use the console to get rid of the addiction. For that reason I'd strongly recommend just not doing Driver Nephi's quest. The good part of Nephi's questline is helping him enslave Violet and Corporal Betsy and put your female followers into bondage, but the addiction and forced cash payment is a huge inconvenience.

That's actually why I wrote them like that -  a guilty pleasure of mine is shitty C-grade revenge movies.

I used the console commands that were copy-pasted from the script in xEdit, so this is exactly what is supposed to run in the background after you do the dialogue for the cure. After you get the text box telling you that Bender is cured, check your status effects to see if you're still in withdrawal. If so, then use the commands.

 

Use this mod to be able to copy text from Notepad into the ingame console-

I assumed it was a personal roleplay fetish lol...Thanks for writing it like that, it made it more engaging while I was planning to escape and kill them all lmao.

 

I'm playing with hardcore difficulty mods so I had to go away to level-up for a while to become powerful enough to defeat the prison, so it gave my character a fun development arc.

 

My game has been very unstable, so the bugged cure might be due to my modlist rather than the fault of Tryout. When I checked it in xEdit everything seemed fine.

 

I also had the problem that when I was supposed to pay Nephi to escape forced prostitution the 2K caps wasn't removed from my inventory. I also avoided having my caps confiscated at the start of the scenario by just placing them into my companion inventory.

If you wait long enough (it took like... two weeks in-game time) the NCR raids the Vault and frees you. They arrest everyone in the Vault except Epstein who goes down fighting.

I'd never have the patience to wait that long. I remember that you have the option of threatening Epstein with exactly this happening, and he laughed and said it never would happen...

 

I'm slightly disappointed that we don't get the chance for the player character to pretend to get Stockholm Syndrome and let Epstein call her "Connie" lol.

 

EDIT: After your character is enslaved the Connie stuff is only there to provide an escape option. I was hoping there would be more because it was a surprising amount of detail and psychology...

If you stash 2k caps somewhere you can pick it back up after you start Nephi's game, and then give it to him get your stuff back ASAP.

That was good thinking. My go-to is to roam around the area and finding groups of NCR and fiends fighting each other, then looting the losers until I have enough loot to raise the caps.

 

I purposefully made it so the amount of caps he wants is impossible to get the way he demands.

5 caps per trick to pay a 2K debt is 400+ sex acts, that's insane! That's more sex acts than from all the other scenarios combined. And the whoring jobs elsewhere pay much better than that. There was no way I was doing that, I strongly suspected that it was a troll lol.

 

Yes, Nephi's quest is a surprise for the player because the other capture/slave/breeder scenarios involve just enduring lots of sex until it's over, with no negative consequences afterwards. Most other capture scenarios (including Fertile Breeder mod) are, like, a short fun sex holiday where the Courier can relax and enjoy subbing for a while. There is always an easy escape option that doesn't involve combat or skillchecks. Nephi's quest it really different, it has immediate and long-lasting negative consequences, and you have to run the questline to the end or you get locked out of the cure and have a permanent withdrawal debuff. It's the only capture scenario that is cruel to the real-world player as well as the player character.

 

Nephi's the only evil Tryout NPC that I actually started to *hate* because of this, I really enjoyed telling him I had the cure before I killed him. I feel bad about Corporal Betsy though, I hoped she would run back to the NCR after Nephi died but she just stood in place permanently like a dog with a dead owner lol.

 

I'm playing with hardcore mods so I only had 10k caps by the time I had to pay for the cure, that's like 40 hours worth of work to get that amount of caps! So I just cheated the caps for the cure, because I assumed the 10K cost was balanced for a 'normal' game where players get hundreds of thousands of caps by that point.

Bug report, I guess: you can't complete Locked Up A Broad without killing Epstein. You can walk out without killing him but the mission won't complete.

Yeah after I walked out the first time I saw the quest was still active. So I reloaded and then murdered Epstein.

So I'm getting some of the companion dialogue but not all of it and not the recruit option.

 

From my modding experience I think, like, 90% of problems are caused on the user end, and my playthrough has been very buggy. If it already works in your game then that's enough to prove to me that your implementation is sound. So, don't take my bugreports seriously lol.

 

If you tell me what any relevant script commands are then I can run them in the console and see what happens.

I have almost finished a French translation of Tryout for my personal use (Translated from version 20220101). As I said, it's for personal use but I can share the results of my work with the community if you agree or just send you the translated mod and/or the translation file (made with EET).

There is only one entry that I can't translate, it's when Betsy replies "Grade-A poon".  Can you explain to me what she means ?

Yes, this is correct, it makes sense although it does sound a bit strange in English because most people will first assume he is saying that he has a pussy which he wants to masturbate with. English speakers would have to think about it for a while to realize that he is expressing ownership over someone else's pussy.

 

It would be less confusing to say, "Your pussy is mine and I want to use it", the meaning here is much clearer.

Bit of a weird question but what does Bender do? And what are the withdrawal effects? Because I just see "On Bender" when I'm on it but no addiction messages if I'm not. I'm not sure how long it's supposed to be until it kicks in, admittedly

Bender is administered automatically during the Nephi quest and as a result of the dialogue choice where you pay 1K Nephi for a dose. You can also get Nephi's cum from him which is an inventory item that can be ingested to stop the withdrawal symptoms. Bender itself doesn't ever spawn as an ingame inventory item.

 

Bender is 100% addictive every time it's taken and will always produce withdrawal effects eventually. If you take it when cured you will get addicted again. You get the cure from Doctor Carnahan at New Vegas medical Clinic, it requires 3 doses of nephi's cum and 8-10K caps, plus another 1K caps for each extra time you get addicted and need another cure. You will also have to endure his mockery and ridicule lol.

 

Bender gives 1 charisma point and lasts for 5-6 days, then you go into withdrawal. Withdrawal reduces all SPECIAL attributes by 2 and should last forever (I think) until you get a cure or another dose of Bender.

 

There is a quest from Nephi where you help a Khan cook some more Bender. It involves fucking cazadores and letting him use a vacuum to extract the fluid. You also get a dose of Bender when this quest ends. I think you also get some when you help him enslave Violet and Corporal Betty.

 

Technically it would be feasible to make a patch so that Fixer could provide a temporary stop to the withdrawal effects, just like it does for other drugs. But I think that would go against Loogie's authorial intent.

You are more than welcome to share your translation! I'm flattered you undertook the project.

 

Poon is slang for vagina, and grade-A is slang for something exceptional. So she's saying really good vagina.

I'd encourage you to make your own upload page for your translation. There are already a lot of files attached to this upload and I think also putting translations in here would make things more confusing.

If you're asking if the math is wrong, then I believe you are correct:

(pint_US / 2) / (90 minute) in gallon_US / day

= 1 gallon_US / day

 

And to convert in rational units:

((pint_US in liter) / 2) / (90 minute) in liter / day

= 3,785 liter / day

 

I am using SpeedCrunch to find these results.

I think the correct rate is 120 ML/ 90 MIN but that doesn't match what is written in the SOTOBondageCass10 dialog => half-pint every 90 minutes.

Is the problem in the dialogue (SOTOBondageCass10) or in the milker info (SOTOCassMilkerODNote) or a misunderstanding on my part?

 

 

 

Things would be fine if 1 US pint was equivalent to about 0.25L but I haven't found anything to support that.
As you said, It seems that 1 US pint is roughly equivalent to 0.5L (0.473L to be more precise)
