The speech aspects (stories about public entertainment etc.) are what I am aiming this mod towards in general. I think any add-on that introduces commentary is really what the intent was from the beginning. Masturbating spectators or spectator orgies was more of a side-feature, which I had put on the back-burner but was developed by somebody in the meantime, so when I resumed development of the mod, I integrated their code, but with major changes to give more control. Really this was primarily meant to be a mod such that sex wouldn't be something only shown in game through animations and never talked about during or afterwards, but instead more integrated into the conversations that you have with NPCs etc. It is a bit weird living in a sexed-up Skyrim if everybody does it all the time but nobody ever talks about it.

Actually I just noticed the revival. I don't remember exactly the different options of the old mod. It's been a long time. Right now I'm waiting for the next (bugfix) release, before I install it again. ;)

Great to read about your plans. I love all things with speech. There have to be consequences of bad deeds – at least in form of rumours.

BTW, I would appreciate if anybody wanted to contribute screenshots showing the mod in operation that I could post on the mod's main page. The screenshot that is there now is super old, from the original Spectator Crowds mod, and uses older body mods etc so it doesn't really demonstrate it very well. I would like to replace it with more screenshots that are more recent, if people would like to supply some.

0.99alpha3 should be pretty stable if you want to start using it now. The changes I'm going to be making are minor at this point, there are no real breaking bugs, so it might as well be called beta. Any changes I make from this point should not require a clean save. The only big feature I'm still going to be adding is the creation of special factions for masturbating spectators and orgy spectators so that they can be blocked from forming crowds of their own while those factions apply. The next alpha release is actually likely to have a few more bugs than 0.99alpha3 only due to some more major changes I am needing to make to accomplish this. I can't see that release coming until a few weeks time (0.99alpha4, and possibly 0.99alpha5). After that the next release will probably be 0.99beta5 (or 0.99beta6) because I'm not going to add new features, only fix existing ones (with 0.99beta7 and 0.99beta8), with the goal to release 1.0.0 stable by sometime in June (yes, the first non-beta release ever, since the original SC mod). You might want to turn off the masturbating spectators or turn down the probability though, to avoid the chain-reaction effect I talked about before.

 

One thing about the speech that I add in this mod - I try to do everything gender neutral and treating men and women the same. So any negative comments made by prudish observers regarding woman-creature sex will also be made by those observers (slightly altered) for man-creature sex. One thing I do not want to do is create a mod that humiliates and degrades only women, treating them as beneath men, even though that might be realistic in terms of real-world historical context on our planet. I know the degrading comments and humiliation can be a turn on, so I do add and will continue to add stuff like that, but I do it for both sexes, not just women, as I have done before. Such dialogue would be based on the gender and sexual orientation of the speaker and gender and sexual orientation of the character in question. I also think that women and men who have a lot of sex might be viewed positively and given positive feedback and encouragement by NPCs who are less prudish, while called sluts or man-whores by NPCs who are more prudish. So there can be a variety of responses to sexual fame/infamy. I'm still working out the best way of accomplishing this. And I know a lot of people are into futa characters, judging by the number of mods, so I might need to figure out a way to do customized responses for that as a third gender.

These things do not happen often enough now for me to be bothered by them. Your assessment of my possible papyrus load is correct. I may provide a load order list later but...some are merged so...

besides, I am only providing feedback, not bitching. I am still in testing phase looking for mistakes you made. Yeah.

 

Edit: My game is "fun" again. Yes this mod coupled with some of the other mods I am running right now slow down the progression of the main quest. You have to make compromises with mods sometimes. I would not use the mod if it wrecked the game too bad, I would not have installed it if I was not interested in the added content. Just in case any one is wondering.

due to this line :"If this mod detects a new SexLab sex scene started by anything other than this mod, it immediately removes the spectator packages from the actors in the new sex scene so that this mod will not interfere" so if I trigger another or new sex scene or stage by sexlabs tool it will immediately stop spectator to watch ?

Yes, if a new sex scene starts that involves the spectator (whether triggered automatically or manually), that spectator will immediately stop watching the original scene, yes. That will happen just before the new scene starts. Of course if the spectator is not involved in the new sex scene, they will keep watching the original until it ends.

 

This was done to fix a problem where, if the spectator started having sex, they would leave the sex to clap for the original act leaving their partner having sex with nobody.

Stopped by to say Hi. I am still testing. Until I find the error in your code I will have to force myself to keep playing...I know I can find more to complain about...

( everything seems fine. I am watching for repeatable issues. I still get odd things that are not supposed to happen but it is nothing like it used to be just recently and I can't seem to get them to repeat predictably. This makes me think it is my build and not your mod now.), (don't quote me on that.).

SSE version works flawlessly.

 

though something to note: for regular play, I'd advise to turn off masturbation/orgies, as one sex scene kicks of a spiral which ends in the whole place either masturbating or fucking.

funny to watch though. one or two start masturbating because of arousal, then npc xyz watches the one masturbating and you have a funny domino effect.

Those screenshots don't really show the dialogue though - the spectators should be saying things, commenting on the sex act. Perhaps you do not have Fuz Ro D'oh installed (it is listed as a requirement)? If you don't have that, you would not see their comments.

i have it installed, i just toggled all menu/hud elements of so i can provide cleaner screenshots - you wrote you want screenshots, so...

Yes, thanks for those - but I mostly prefer screenshots that more clearly demonstrate what the mod does, ideally, so including dialogue would be ideal (I don’t care about other HUD elements).

Yes @preserotri, this "domino" effect can be fine tuned in the MCM menu. You can make it more "all inclusive" or less. I am beginning to think about possible settings changes in selected locations or or under certain circumstances...this mod could create terrible/awesome diversions at the most fortuitous/awkward moments. I wonder...

I have a problem with the installation using WINE and Mod Organizer 1. The error message reads: "invalid type 105 …"

 

Nevermind, I found the problem. Accidentially I used the wrong version (SE) for LE. It seems that Mod Organizer 1 does not like Skyrim SE.

Had to adjust some .ini files to smooth out some of my script issues. Seems a bit smoother now if that makes any sense. Thank you once again. I am guessing any game I run sex mods in I include this. I am still trying to break it after all. Quality control you know. Very nice.

 

Edit: I have had several occasions in crowded interiors where I finished taking care of my needs and could not exit the area without being forced into sex with some random horny NPC. I protest the indignity of being forced by NPC's just because they feel like it. It is too far. Definitely keep that part in too. Heck, do what you want in the future. I have the current version, I must remember to archive a copy of this version before you break it. Keeper.

There will be one or two final alpha versions that add new features, at which point it will be feature locked until 1.0.0 stable. If somehow the final alpha is perfect it will become the 1.0.0 stable - otherwise there will be one or two beta versions and then 1.0.0 stable. The final beta may become 1.0.0 stable if there are no more issues to fix.

 

I've been aiming towards 1.0.0 stable as the target that will have all features that I originally planned for the mod, where they will all work. After that, I can see about adding new features upon request. The development cycle would be new features introduced as alpha versions, once all new features have been defined, beta versions would have bug fixes for those, then a new stable release once the bugs have been worked out.

Thanks for coming back and working on this again, really great mod and it has been working well for me since the updates.

 

One feature I would request for after 1.0.0 release would be some type of hook added in where NPCs will make remarks to the player relevant to the animation that just played (based on keyword or whatever)...

 

That request might be way more than you want to get involved with so no worries if you just glance by, lol... If it is something that could be added in in some way with relative ease, it would be awesome if it made passing comments, and also maybe have a small chance for NPCs to start a force greet conversation based on the animation... If it were made in a way players could easily edit the esp or some sort of json file that would make it a 10/10 feature!

Force greets are very touchy in this engine. They get ... um, complicated. I gave up playing with them some time ago because I kept breaking things. there are characters in the game you just don't want to mess with like that. Maybe wpg97541 is better with such or the conditions applied work without breaking things. Just saying, not impossible but not easy either. Good idea but may not work as expected if at all. Just a heads up.

Working on screen shots. Warning, some will show errors still occurring. These are rarely the fault of this mod. My game is ye ole Legendary edition 32 bit and I have crammed it to the gills with many mods, a number add scripts and therefore some scripts do not fire EVERY time or sometimes do not run at all. This causes few problems in my game except at these times. When the animations are running things can get a bit touchy. I am not complaining, I hope you won't, I assume others are play testing with fewer mods. I am supplying data for the opposite scenario. Good times.

Most of the issues occur when many participants begin to run animations. Every now and again one member of a group will stand and clap leaving partners air humping. This had been happening every time, now it is occasionally. Usually when I initiate an orgy scenario with SLEN dialogues ( ie: "Let's see who wants to have sex "), A script scans for participants based on disposition towards character and arousal level, whomever is picked begins forming groups or pairs and animations begin as groups form. There can be many groups and the scripts are all going to resolve things...sometimes there is an oops. Maybe I can get something uploaded in the next couple of days.

Um...Aroused Creatures SE got back ported to LE...I had to check it out. It got a bit weird so I started a new game and they seem to be working well together although I do not really leave aroused creatures active all the time it is neat to turn on in some areas to "see what happens". Between your new scripts and those new fixed scripts, things are working well together. The screen shots are in the mail. Any day now I swear...

I Left Aroused Creatures on in Whiterun by mistake, Between this mod and AC it was a very large mistake. I finally had to turn off SCU and AC in their MCM menus. It was like throwing ice water on your little sisters sleepover party. All fun stopped instantly. I had no idea it would be so abrupt. Made me think of a spell to "cool off" people in a humorous  manner. "When you have had enough and it is time to go.". Can I talk you into it? Comments? Also, In Dragon's Reach after talking to Balgruff I had to relieve myself before talking to Lydia for the first time. This began the Circus. When I finished with the nearby servant I proceeded to talk to Lydia. I no sooner began the conversation ( two lines in...) and was forcibly ejected from the conversation by a Whiterun Guard and Proventus to begin an animation. Lydia mumbled something and left to go to Breezehome I assume...I was trying to recruit her when the two goof balls decided they had better ideas. I play a male PC too...talk about awkward. I need an "Ice Water" or "cold shower" spell for these situations...

So I'm not entirely sure what you are talking about when it comes to the interaction between AC and this mod. You are being a little bit cryptic - could you be more specific?

 

When it comes to the Whiterun Guard and Proventus, it should be checking the sexual orientation before starting an orgy unless you have changed that option. However there may be a bug in the code that handles that - I'll have a look at it and see if I can see anything.

 

I am right now having some struggles to fix some remnant issues from the conversion to multithreaded - specifically there appear to be some glitches where an actor is torn away from a sex act to start masturbating. Not exactly sure what is causing them yet, it is a bit tricky tracing the code with so many threads going on at once. I don't think the stable is going to be coming until late June at this rate.
